Staff is nice, just I feel like for nails and the price you pay, it's not worth it here. I paid $45 and tipped $5, but I don't think I should've tipped at all. They over-buffed my nails, they didn't do my nails to my cuticle so they grew out within a week, and to top it all off I asked for longer nails; the lady who did them said "shorter was better for me." read more

Over time, this has become my favorite place for my pedi & gel mani service. I would say most of the ladies here do an outstanding job. Every now & then I might get a service that is not 100% up to par with my expectations, but nobody's perfect. Mostly I get consistently good service here. They do get rather busy here so I would recommend making an appointment otherwise they may be too busy to get you in. I think prices here are reasonable and the gel polish usually lasts a long time before I get chips or dings. read more

The reason I did not rate a 5 is because the staff is not the best with designs. I like to have designs on my nails and they were very hesitant to do any of the ones I wanted. They ended up doing a Hawaiian flower on my toes. Its was ok but not the best. I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the salon. They have a large polish selection. My nails have lasted a long time and that means a lot to me. They were very friendly and humorous there! They all used English talking to patrons and with each other, which was great! I think the prices were great for the Waxhaw area. I paid $57 (without tip) for a full set French manicure with sparkles, and pedicure with design. I used to pay $75 for the same service at my last salon. I will definitely go here again. I would recommend making an appointment. It was a Saturday when I went and they were turning people away. read more

My experience was horrible. My daughter and I went in for pedicures. I will admit, I get pedicures every three weeks because I LOVE the massages. Today I decided to try this place. When the guy began to polish my toes, I realized he had not massaged my foot. When I asked him about it, he smerked and said....no. I do not massage feet. As I waited for my daughter I noticed the other customer, who happened to be white, got a full foot massage. When I brought my concerns to the manager/owner she became argumentative and rude. She told me everyone gets the same service. I told her clearly that was not true because I watched other people get the service I had not received. I asked for a $5.00 discount to compensate for the poor customer service. This woman called the police and told them I was refusing to pay! We have got to stop supportimg businesses who do not provide good customer service. These people are rude and racist! read more

This place has THE WORST customer service I have ever seen. My daughter went in to get her nails done. They ripped her nail, told her they weren't fixing it, and continued to talk down to her. Great if you can get in. Don't have much luck with walk in. Make an appointment if you plan to go. My wife has made an appointment the showed up to wait and hour after her scheduled time- more than once. Employees don't always seem like they want to be there. They do a decent job though. The ladies here are awesome! I always leave very satisfied with my manicure or pedicure! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because a 30 minute polish always turns into an hour and a half visit! I had a 5:30 tonight and they didn't start until 6 because someone walked in before me. Then one lady went back and fourth between the two of us while two other employees sat around doing nothing. Later I realized one was waxing the others eyebrows. Great work, just wish their customer service was a little better! Also it's always hard to get an appointment! Especially weekends! read more

I am so appalled and disgusted by their customer service. I sent my 16 year old daughter to Sephora to have her first set of acrylic nails done. I dropped her and friends off and explained exactly what I wanted. I even showed a picture and we agreed what they would do. One of the Manicurist seemed to be very helpful. Upon coming to an understanding I left her and friends there for girl time and to celebrate her birthday. After picking my daughter up late that evening because the girls went to dinner after what was supposed to be a day of pampering...and looking at her nails, the job looked unacceptable so I called and spoke to whom was supposed to the manager. WOW, WHOMEVER gave her the position in management should rethink their decision. I explained my concerns although she continued to talk over me. She even told me what my responsibilities as a parent was. I then requested to speak with her boss or the contact information for the owner of the company. This women proceeded to tell me she owned the company. I requested that they redo my daughters nails. Her nails are pointing upwards. That should not be. After going back and forwards with this women, she said and I quote " F___K You" and hung up on me. What type of business is this?????? I AM THE CUSTOMER!!!! I have been in customer service for well over 20 years. THIS is totally UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! I WILL NEVER GIVE THESE PEOPLE MY MONEY EVER AGAIN and I plan on taking this complaint further!!!! read more

This used to be the best Nail Salon in Waxhaw and Cassie was the best! Then there started to be lots and lots of turnover and opposed to Cassie servicing me as she always did for 8 years, she would force new techs on me but she would take other clients herself. So many good nail techs have left this salon but I see them at other salons. When she literally refused to do my nails recently but gave me to someone else, I told her I was going to another salon and she told me to go. And I did...to her sister down the street at Finesse Salon in Waxhaw. Angie welcomed me with opened arms. That's service!!!! read more

I've never had such an awful experience before in my life . I have been coming for over 5 years and I always get the new person/ no experience. This was the most painful manicure I've ever had!! The guy wraps (to remove the gel) on my fingers and then said get ur stuff & go to the pedicure chair. I lost a few wraps walking carrying my bag, phone, and the 2 colors I picked out since Cassie suggested the new holiday line. Well the new guy said that I needed powder instead ‍. I wanted RED & silver on my ring fingers. After sitting in the chair for 30 minutes I had to ask him to remove the wraps from my fingers because my skin was burning so bad he gave me a little bit of a hard time but finally took it off after he took it off I had to soak my hand in the foot tub just to make them feel better to get the alcohol off. finally we get to his chair to do my manicure and he destroyed all of my long nails he use the Dremel tool and cut me on six different fingers. I whimpered each time & had to keep getting up washing the blood off my hands. I was so furious, I said to Cassie that he cut me all over & ruined my fingers nails. He painted over all my cuticles & completely uneven!! She Charged me $65 after she saw how upset I was. She wanted to fix them & at this point I wanted to just leave. She tried to even them out After I paid!!! But it was pointless!! I don't have ANY NAILS LEFT!! Just cuts & bandaids all over. Please do me a Favor & don't go there. She doesn't care at all & I wish I knew where all the sisters went that Used to work there. I'm praying I don't get any infections! Save yourself the pain! And try a new place read more

Owner left a client sitting for 30 minutes, then told her they were not taking anymore customers, I couldnt believe what I was seeing,, another woman came back in with the customer to speak with the owner, and the owner went on a rampage in front of everyone, very unprofessional, and the place looks very outdated, highly recommend she takes customer service classes read more

I've been coming here for years. I'm not a get my nails done every few weeks girl so it's usually every few months. There's always a wait but I usually stop by on a whim with no appointment so I can't complain. I'm always polite & I always tip well. This morning I went in the minute they opened & asked for a polish change (granted I have acrylic on by big toes bc of a past surgery causing them not to grow but that's really TMI lol & we are still talking 15 min tops). There was one customer in there sitting in the pedicure area. No manicures being done, no one waiting, not a single other customer to be seen. The owner smiled & told me they didn't have any availability today. Really? I'm in there at 9:30 & you are open till 7:00 tonight & you have NOTHING? I really got to thinking about it when I left so I called them & did not mention I was the same person who had just been in there. I asked if I could come in for a pedicure. She asked if I could come in at 3:00 today! A pedicure would take longer than the service I was asking for & somehow they had time for that? It was so bizarre. I began to wonder if I smelled bad lol! And it was super annoying because I could have come in any time today but I'm tied up the rest of the week. But of course I didn't take the 3:00 after that strange behavior. Hardly anybody is there and they tell us they're full. There's never anybody waiting and they constantly turn us away. If you want to waste time driving all the way there for them to turn you away stating they're too busty even though hardly anybody's there be my guest and waste your time. read more

Hont does great pedicures. Gel manicure services were ok. They have to learn to listen to their customers and stop forces products and services that are not needed. Cassy claimed to be the only knowledgeable nail technician, so she worked on me and two (2) other customers simultaneously.....not good. She needs to train her staff, so that customers don't have to wait. Cassy engaged in a distasteful discussion with a customer who was being serviced by another lady about a customer who recently bought a house on a lake front. Poor business etiquette. Usually not one to write a review but I was very disappointed and left extremely grossed out..Went in for a pedicure he soaked my feet for about a minute then picked at the skin around my toes with out any cuticle cream or oils usually used until I was bleeding and my skin was raw..I appreciate being thorough but I get pedicures very often that there is no way he needed to cut away that much skin...This was the only thing he did the whole entire time that a "pedicure" would consist of..My toes freezing and dried out he still continued to pick away until I finally asked him to stop it was hurting. He then pulls out tool to clean away dead skin and swipes once under each heel has me put my feet in the water and then proceeds to grab other tools and clean them against the drain inside the tub..Realizing there was no plastic cover most places place over the tub now for sanitary reasons I couldn't help but wonder if he does this with every customer that comes in for a pedicure and how much of other people's skin and fungus and whatever bacteria was stuck in that tub...I quickly take my feet out he didn't think anything of it and drains the water and puts nail polish remover on my toes over open little cuts, not like they needed to be dried out anymore and begins to paint and is finished. At this point I didn't care about the rest of the hot wax or towels and lotion I was suppose to get out of this $40 pedicure I just wanted to get home and shower.... I will not be returning and I urge others not to go here, bacterias and fungus are so easily produced in pedicure baths there is absolutely no excuse for cleaning dirty tools against the tub and they certainly should not be charging $40 if they are not giving what is promised..all I hope is I don't get some nasty infection or gang green...disgusting. Things used to be good and they were convenient. As of late they have had less and less staff on Saturdays which are very busy. Today my husband and I had an appointment. We were taken back on time and they got to working on my husband right away. However, I sat with my feet in the water for an hour and all I got was excuse after excuse about what had happened. A technician quit; another two were on vacation, someone was on their way, etc. My biggest issue was I had an appointment and a walk in was taken before me. if they were short staffed - they shouldn't have taken a walk in! Why bother taking appointments if they don't get the preferential treatment they are supposed to get? After all that waiting and soaking - I never got the pedicure. No sorry, let us make it up to you or anything - they just let me walk out the door after paying for my husband. That is very poor customer service.
