I highly recommend this place. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating and the pricing is real good especially for the quality and care. It's convenient to get to since it's at Metro point and you can park in The structure right next door. I usually get a dip for my nails and a pedicure and I keep coming back! The vibe is relaxed and everyone is super nice. Give it a try! read more

Don did an excellent job removing my Gel-X nails from another salon. I noticed some green on my nail and knew they had to come off, so I came here since it was the newest and closest salon to me. Don was extremely gentle and went above and beyond--carefully removing the nails and shaping them beautifully so my hands looked clean and healthy. You can tell he truly enjoys his work and values quality and care. This was my first visit, but I'll definitely be back. I was very pleased with this simple removal and have no doubt I'll love my next set once my nail heals from K&K Nails! :) read more

Found this spot on Yelp and heard Tina does a great pedicure. Decided to check it out and I was not dissapointed! It's right next to Nordstrom Rack. The salon itself looks incredibly clean. It certainly seems "newer." Price for a regular pedicure was only $29. I was happy with her work. When I would tell her what I would like, she'd listen and change it. I appreciate her attentiveness and hospitlaity. They don't rush in here and they make sure it's how you'd like it to be. I'd definitely go back. Might be my new go-to. read more

I booked an appointment after work with Quincy based on her amazing reviews. When I arrived, I let them know I had an appointment with Quincy (which they acknowledged) and then I was seated for a pedicure (I assumed my manicure with Quincy would follow). Five minutes later, when another tech (who was very sweet) came over to start my manicure, I wanted to confirm that she was Quincy, so I asked. The nail technician doing my pedicure gave her a look, as if signaling her to say yes. However, she was honest and said Quincy was not available because she wasn't off that day. I politely declined the manicure and left after the pedicure. I'm disappointed because they had the time and opportunity to be transparent upfront and if they had, I would've happily rescheduled.Honesty matters. read more

I am extremely disappointed, I have been coming here for years and have always had a pretty good experience. Today I was in the area and I walked to see if they were available for a walk in, they said yes. I usually always go to Quincy but the owner said she didn't have time. Which I completely understand since she had appointments. So I had another nail tech help me who usually does only pedicures. I told her what I wanted and heard her ask other how to do it. I had asked for an ombré. When she started I told her the it was way to white vs a nice blend between white and pink. She got up and seems very upset and started tossing things around and just said someone else is going to help you. I was literally left there sitting not knowing what to do. Again Quincy had been helping me for years and I didn't want to speak up out of respect. Quincy finally came to help me but it was cleared that she was in a rush because her appointment had gotten there. So I told her to just do something super fast and got bubble bath because it seemed no one had time to help. The nails don't look horrible but I left with a bumpy nail, a lot of nail dust underneath the nails and they are not what I wanted. Plus I was still charged full price. Extremely mad at myself but at the business to, if they are fully booked with appointments they should no be taking walk ins if they can't provide the same service! I will not come back here. read more

First time here! Found this place after shopping at the plaza and decided to try it out since they have 15% off of all services. Apparently today was their grand opening! Walking in the place is super modern and clean. Looked like one of those luxury nail salons but price was fair and wasn't too pricey. I got a full set with Ken. He was super talented and efficient! I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he matched it with a little flair of his own designs. They served champagne too with your visit. They check ID too though so be sure you're 21+. Overall I will be back! I just wished I lived closer or I'd be back more often. But definitely an awesome place to get your nails done read more

I've been getting my nails done religiously since 2002. I've been through my fair share of salons in Orange County and I think I finally found my nail salon to marry after my 100th or so time coming here. Don is the absolute best and I have never once left unhappy or even ever had to ask them to fix something. Highly recommend. Also love their online booking, it makes it super easy. They always offer a beverage and I've never had to wait due to them running behind like most places. read more

The woman was incredibly sweet and friendly and the hand massage was lovely. however the removal of my previous gel manicure was awful, she stripped my nails down to almost the skin, they were so thin. Did not use aluminum to soak and scrap, just used a dremal tool and went for it. The application of the new polish was sloppy and it ended up looking like I did them at home. read more

Another amazing job at K&K Nails! At my last salon, I had stopped doing acrylic nails, because they always broke and made my real nails thin and painful. Since I've been coming to K&K, I've been able to have acrylics again! They last so long and are strong. It had been about a month since I was able to get back for a full, but they were still going strong. I had long almond shape and wanted something a little shorter and nude for an upcoming work trip. I have tried a lot of nail studios in OC, most of the big ones in Irvine, Tustin, Costa Mesa - you name it, and this is by far the BEST one! Don is the best. The nails I get here have never ever chipped or broken. I recently had to go to another place because I was in a rush and K&K was closed - I regretted it so much!! You will definitely want your nails done by Quincy! She is the absolute best. I followed her to this new location, and I will continue to do so if she moves! Her work is amazing and I never have issues with my service hurting like I have experienced in the past with other nail technicians. My manicures last 3-4 weeks and I work in the hair industry so my hands are always in water or chemicals. My manicures have never lasted this long until I started going to Quincy! Best nail salon I've been to! The decor is cute/fairly average - I walked in without expecting too much but the staff are the true standouts. They were efficient and kind and most of all, never pushy. A lot of salons will push you to get gel nails, mani along with a pedi or the more expensive services but here they let you choose and don't try to convince you otherwise. My pedicurist said her name was Anna I think - she was absolutely talented and when I couldn't decide which color to choose, she creatively suggested layering one on top of the other and it meshed into a gorgeous color. Needless to say, I attended a wedding that same day wearing open-toed wedge heels showing off my newly pedicured toenails with confidence. I live far away but definitely hope to be back! read more

No complaints on my toes but with my nails, the top gel builder started lifting after 6 days. I didn't call in until the following Saturday (day 13). When I called about it, they said the most they can do is give me a 10% discount because "people come in for fills after 2 weeks". I'm extremely upset that I paid $165 for my toes and nails with tip included to get nails and service of this quality. Had it been regular gel nails, maybe I wouldn't be as upset but it's due to the fact that I PAID EXTRA FOR THE GEL BUILDER TO LAST 3 WEEKS.

Unfortunately, she wasn't available today, so I was assigned to someone else. I went in with a very simple plan: remove my current gel builder set and get a basic manicure with cuticle cleanup. I was very clear that I'm coming back in two weeks (for my baby shower, which I mentioned multiple times) to get a fresh gel builder set with Katelyn. Today, I was completely fine leaving with bare, natural nails. During the service, the nail tech asked if I wanted a clear coat. I said sure. Then she mentioned she would apply a thin layer of gel builder "just to keep my nails strong" until I come back. The way it was presented sounded like a small courtesy, not an added service--so at no point did I think I was agreeing to an extra $50 charge. I get to the register and my total is $70. $20 for a manicure... and $50 for gel builder. I was completely blindsided. If I had known I was being charged for gel builder, why would I agree to a THIN, clear layer with no color? That makes zero sense, especially when I specifically said I'd be coming back for a full set in two weeks. I felt genuinely misled. When I questioned it, I was told it was because the tech applied gel builder. I explained that I had clearly asked for just a manicure before being seated, and no one mentioned any additional costs at any point. They apologized and took off $20 plus 15%, but I still ended up paying $50 for something I didn't ask for and didn't want. At that point, I felt so uncomfortable and frustrated that I just paid and left. But honestly, the damage was done. This completely ruined my trust. Why would I come back in two weeks (or ever) when I've basically already paid for a service I didn't even want? I'm really disappointed because I loved coming here and it's so close to home, but the lack of transparency and communication today was unacceptable. Please be very careful and ask about every single charge before agreeing to anything here. Better yet, just don't come here at all.

I…read moretold them I wanted powder for my pedicure because I don't like gel, but she insisted that gel is better than powder. I asked her why, but she couldn't give me a reason--probably because of a language barrier, I suppose. Then I replied, "Okay, gel is fine," and showed her the cat-eye gel I wanted. She said no, so I had to change to what they had in the store--three times. And the options were very limited. At that point, I should have walked out, but since I was already sitting there and didn't want to be rude, I just went with whatever they had. And decided to stop just pedicure. She showed me the packages they offered, and I chose the regular one, which was around $35. After I finished, I tipped her $5 in cash and paid with my card. I didn't check the price until I got home, and that's when I saw I had been charged $52. I wouldn't complain if the price was reasonable and the result was pleasant, but it wasn't. The price wasn't what they told me at first, and I can barely see the cat-eye effect. The manicurist also didn't seem to have the same skill level as others I've been to. I'm so disappointed and feel scammed at this point.

She is currently working solo so heads-up if you need to get a mani/pedi done with a friend, she'll have to sequence the services. It's all quite new to her - the process, what each service includes, etc. The infrastructure is also dated - the chairs are not too comfortable and the non-gel options are limited. She is really sweet and eager, but also moves quick and a bit coarse.
