Hannah was meticulous, gentle, and clearly very skilled. She always checked in to see if I was in any pain. Im sadly in pain and still bleeding luckily the south coast mall workers gave me a bandage and was able to get home and wash my toe with soap and water. I got robbed today. I walked into the Nail Center & Spa and asked for a pedicure and manicure. I…read moretold them I wanted powder for my pedicure because I don't like gel, but she insisted that gel is better than powder. I asked her why, but she couldn't give me a reason--probably because of a language barrier, I suppose. Then I replied, "Okay, gel is fine," and showed her the cat-eye gel I wanted. She said no, so I had to change to what they had in the store--three times. And the options were very limited. At that point, I should have walked out, but since I was already sitting there and didn't want to be rude, I just went with whatever they had. And decided to stop just pedicure. She showed me the packages they offered, and I chose the regular one, which was around $35. After I finished, I tipped her $5 in cash and paid with my card. I didn't check the price until I got home, and that's when I saw I had been charged $52. I wouldn't complain if the price was reasonable and the result was pleasant, but it wasn't. The price wasn't what they told me at first, and I can barely see the cat-eye effect. The manicurist also didn't seem to have the same skill level as others I've been to. I'm so disappointed and feel scammed at this point.
