I came to get my brow tint and wax with Jenny and it's inside Serene. Next time I have to get my nails done. I'm not from this area. I looked up Jenny and it happened to be in the same location. The reason why I'm writing a review is because my experience was great. While I was getting my brows tinted, the owner's little girl was very friendly and made friends with my 7 year old daughter. She was younger than my daughter and I saw them talking. She even shared her snack with Jaelyn. I thought that's super cute. When a person raise their kids right, I'm all for that. This little girl is a boss in the making. Next time we come back to visit my husbands family, we'll stop here again. :) read more

This place discriminates against MEN ! I went in just to ask for a clean up on my eyebrows and I was told they don't service men because our eyebrow shape is different . Like WTH ! I've never heard of that before in my life . I just needed to get them waxed nothing crazy just wanted them to be cleaned up . I have lived walking distance from this nail salon for 2 1/2 years and have never been before today. I have gone to a lot of the very popular over priced places in Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach. I went here only because I didn't have a lot of time. I noticed they had good reviews. I was a little nervous because it looked like there were a lot of very bright, colorful acrylic type things going on in the pictures and I just wanted a simple natural gel manicure. I really like this nail salon. It's been redone since the Covid lock down. The place has a new owner and o like how friendly everyone is. Lee is very talented with painting what you want on your nails. I show her what I would like, and then she does it by hand. I always pick at my nails and the never last me longer than two or three weeks. I've had these on for three months now. This is the longest I've had acrylics. I love the selection of colors and products. My feet always look nice and my hands do too. They take walk ins, but calling ahead of time is helpful. read more

I always try to be nice and fair with my reviews. Including tip, I paid $91 for this. You see the work. Not much to be said. The ladies were very nice. It's just the acrylics were not great at all. Bubbles, debris is the nails, 4 were crooked. I only went back because my friend encouraged me to. I was in the area and needed to get my nails done quickly, I found this store on Yelp and decided to try it out since it had a good review. The COVID protocol made me feel safe and at ease. Before being seated they took my temperature and don't forget your mask. The store is very clean, there is hand sanitizer everywhere if you need it. I got my nails done by Ly she did an amazing job, I am a hair stylist and my hands are in water everyday. It has been two weeks my nails still look beautiful and they haven't lifted. Zero starts. Apparently one of the ladies thinks it's OK to remove your nail tips by shaving them off unfortunately she took off the real fingernail.. The gel nails lasted less than 48 hours and now my daughter has several fingers with paper thin and painful nails. Stay away !! read more

So this my 2nd time visiting Hanna, was not disappointed at all. She takes her time and pays attention to detail. She does a great job on both the gel mani and spa pedi. She takes good care of callus removal, and does really well with ingrown toenails. This small, cute, clean nail spa has my business. Prices are just right but the difference you get quality service. Their Covid safety protocols were not being followed both times I went to get my nails done. once in December while cases were surging and again this week. While getting a pedicure the owner had her mask down for over at least 30 minutes while she went and talked to different people in the salon. Also two patrons walked in and did not have a mask on and were talking to other people in the salon and to the owner and no one said anything to them. Another lady getting a pedicure & manicure also had her mask pulled below her nose and mouth the entire time and no staff nor the owner said anything. It was very hard to enjoy my pedi while the owner and few patrons were not caring they were possibly exposing the other staff members and patrons to Covid. The owner needs to protect her staff and patrons. I really wanted to come back but will not anymore. Don't come if you're are worried about getting Covid. Hoping this post will have them follow safety protocols and save others from exposure. read more
