The best donuts in Tucson. After a couple years hiatus we were happy to hear this beloved family owned donut shop was walking a return. We love all their donut recipes, their prices are great specially against chain stores competitors. Their cake donuts are not overly sweet or dry compared to others and their glazed and sugar donuts might just be the best I have ever had. Support your local shops and skip Dunkin or Krispy you won't be disappointed!

Less than 1" of the entire donut has filling, and it didn't even try to leak out til I took the last bite of the edge that connected the top to the bottom.... Seriously the most underwhelming donut I've ever had in my life. Also, their oil needs to be changed. Even though the donut was nice and fresh based on texture, it tasted stale and old and gross, and had a disgusting old oil flavor to it. Definitely wouldn't not return, I'll drive a little further and get bosa next time.

Went by here on 12/20 on Wilmot Street on Tucson; nice atmosphere and friendly service. I bought a couple of Bearcats, cinnamon buns, and an apple fritter for my wife which she loved. My son and I ate the rest. Some of the best donuts in town.

K Donut Wheel serves excellent donuts at a fair price! I brought in 2 dozen donuts for a function, and everyone absolutely loved them. I was sad because they were all gone by the time I could try one. Luckily, I returned to K Donut Wheel for my own donuts. The massive cinnamon roll was a delectable crossover between a donut and a traditional cinnamon roll. One surprising standout was the old-fashioned donut that melts in your mouth. Every donut I tried was not too heavy and greasy; they were light and airy. As a protip, bring some cash with you. They accept credit cards, but there is a small fee. Overall, choose K Donut Wheel over the big donut chains any day! They are a crowd-pleaser and did not disappoint.

Love these donuts this is the same own that was at the old donut wheel location on Kolb and Golflinks that is now a Starbucks. My kids love their donut holes, long John's, and jelly filled powder donuts. My favorite is the cake donuts yummm. Was so happy when I pulled up to the window it was the same owner of the original "donut wheel" her new location is nice and the building is brand new and bigger location. They offer more coffee drinks, and other food options as well. They had donut holes still and I went like around 11ish on a Sunday morning so that was awesome.

Absolutely the best donuts I have ever put ok my face! Like many other reviewers, I will not be going back to Dunkin Donuts any time soon... The donuts are sooo good, they just melt on your mouth! Bonus: they are open 24 hours since night shift has us all backwards. We were lucky enough to get thee right after they finished some at about 5:30 one morning and they were still warm = AMAZING!! read more

This Place is the Donut Bomb !! Nothing Fancy but I am not there looking for decorating Ideas, I got plenty of those myself. Daniel and I go there for the Donuts and Milk. Not a healthy snack but for the few times a year we go, its worth the drive. The donuts are miles high above anything else in the Donut world ! Those Pink Frosted Ones are enought to send me outta my mind !! Only a couple tho, any more and I would feel really guilty but I could eat the whole tray of them ! read more

This place has THE BEST donuts in Tucson, hands down. Any of the negative reviews seem to have come from people who visit the shop in the afternoon. If you want their donuts fresh and at their best, go in the morning. Always prompt service and fresh pastries! They are cheaper than Dunkin and actually taste like donuts (i.e. not "manufactured"). As a member of the Air Force, I can honestly say that Donut Wheel does what they do very well and they are consistent at it. Love this place!!! read more

Best. Donuts. Ever. I don't know what they do to these donuts before they put them in that glass case (sprinkle them with heroine?) but it's awesome. These confectionary masterpieces are the lightest, fluffiest fried dough treats you'll ever taste! Nothing like that dense garbage they sell at Double D's. This shop is worth your time and money, not to mention its family run so you'll occasionally get a cute 7 year old cashing you out, and you're supporting your local business. Try it! read more

Truly spectacular yeast raised donuts. The cake ones are good too, but the raised ones are as good as you can get anywhere. Great apple fritters as well. Highly recommended! Get there early if you want chocolate glazed. read more

I definitely want to run in and run back out quickly so there are not any incidents in the parking lot, if you know what I mean. The glazed donuts are nice; I bet they would be even better in the morning. Most of their donuts are large, and it's not the place to get a bunch of smaller donuts. The glazed twist was $1 even - no worry about tax or anything. Run in, get your donut, run out, and hurry back! read more

Worst customer service ever! Went in around 1 maybe 1:30 and stood up there for 10 minutes and no one ever came out. Opened and closed the multiple times to make the bell ring. Called when I got home and the guy was so rude saying "I was there" "I no see you" hung up on me multiple times and said he was busy at that time. There was only 2 cars in the parking lot. He called me a liar and refused to tell me when a manager would be in.if I could rate 0 stars I would read more

We got there about noon. While the cinnamon roll was fresh the store was dirty. On the coke machine there were old posting with no more words on them and the paper brown. The advertisement on the door was torn and water damaged. The blinds were filthy and windows were dirty. As I sat there I wondered how clean is the kitchen. IJS I was in the food business for 30 years and it is critical for the customer area to be just as clean as the kitchen. read more

Unfortunately, the service felt a bit cold, no one acknowledged me, and the staff didn't seem very welcoming or engaged. I ordered an iced matcha latte, which came unsweetened. No one mentioned that ahead of time or pointed out where the sweeteners were, so I had to look around for them myself. The matcha had a nice flavor, but the texture was a bit grainy, suggesting it might not be the highest quality. Also, the bathrooms are located all the way in the back, and there isn't enough signage to guide you there easily. Overall, it has a lot of charm and a great location, but the customer experience could definitely be improved.

I love it here. The food is so good. My favorites are their breakfast sandwich and their specialty…read morepizzas. They also have delicious pastries. Oh, and my favorite drink is the turmeric ginger infusion. Yes I know it's probably just something I could buy and make myself, but the point is that I don't have to do that -- I can just go to Time Market and have them do it for me! It is very small so keep that in mind. Their outside area is great. If there's an event at the University you might not be able to get a seat, so just have a plan b for that. I also love the grocery area. They have some items here that you can't find anywhere else in town, such as specialty chocolates and certain brands and flavors of ice cream. They also have some basics like produce and meat. It's worth a visit and you can walk to it from both the 4th avenue area as well as the main gate area.

I recommend you stop here if you're visiting the university or in town for another occasion! Seems like lots of locals love it too! The space was small but luckily we found a table to eat at. Service was quick too and they have a water station available.

I was pleasantly surprised by K Donuts Wheel in Tucson! Their Vietnamese coffee was really good, and the donuts were incredibly fresh and delicious. The place has a convenient drive-thru, is super clean, and the team was very nice. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. read more

This is my favorite donut place. They are a great tasting and great deal. 18 donuts for $13 . I work in a small office and everyone loves these donuts so fresh you could let sit out all day and they are still fresher than other big name donut places. read more
