Partner and I came here to give it a try. Very hassle free way of doing hot pot with their conveyor belt system. Grab what you want whenever you want without having to wait for someone to come by to order. The food itself was pretty good. A decent selection of items to choose from. The Tom yum and pork bone broth had a good flavor. Service for us was a little lackluster as after we were seated and ordered our broth, no one came by to check in on us. K+? Not sure what the plus means but it's always a plus for us (my family and I). Why? It's the closest all-you-can-eat (AYCE) hotpot to my home. And there's always something for someone. They offer bbq and seafood boils as well but, after eating at K+ at least once a month since last summer, I've yet to try those options. Someday I will but someday I won't. So what's the routine or how does one eat at K+ for AYCE hotpot? First, you sit down in a chair and get ready to loosen your trousers. Second, you pick and choose a broth (and a optionally a beverage; my go-to is their massive Thai milk tea) for the server to bring out. Third, you start pulling off foods from the conveyor to cook into your broth. And bam! Hotpot. Oh, you can also walk to the sauce station near the front to create a dipping sauce to enhance your lunch/dinner experience. So why not five gleaming stars? The staff... is great! They're always on top of removing the plates and lids when you've challenged yourself to make the tallest AYCE tower. However, the plastic bags used to wrap each individual food item on the conveyor is tragic. So much plastic waste. It causes never ending guilt every time I grab an item off the conveyor. Sigh. Maybe I should look away? No... here's to hoping that K+ may find an alternative for the plastic bags. read more

Came in on the second day of their soft opening on Saturday, the 19th right during the dinner rush! Definitely have things they need to fix before their grand opening but overall, it was a good time. Tl;dr: for a soft opening, loved it! Food was good, and of course a conveyor belt is always fun! Only down part of the service was a really long wait for our check - we had to ask for it multiple times. Also, it would've been helpful if there was a description if each broth, and the process overall. But will be back! It wasn't full yet, so we were seated right away. They didn't really explain how it worked so we were looking around for a little bit before a man in a suit (maybe manager?) came by to check on us. Basically, they have a list of broths listed at each table, each priced the same. Then there are 5 colored circles with different price points. Those colors correspond to the colors of the plates that ingredients arrive on, via the conveyor belt. Pretty similar to any other hot pot place: cuts of meat and seafood, noodles, veggies, etc. You order your individual broth with the server, and you take the ingredient plates off the belt as you please. They said they only offer water and sodas "for now," so I'm excited to see what else they will offer In our party, we ordered the thai (tom yum), pork bone, and kimchi broths. I originally ordered the herbal broth, thinking it would be similar to any other hot pot place that offers an herbal broth. IT'S NOT! It wasn't the milky white looking one, it was red and spicy. I had to ask for the replacement of the pork bone broth. So that's one thing, is they don't have descriptions for any broth. It would be helpful if they had a menu explaining the broths. But the pork bone broth was much better, it was savory but somewhat creamy, too. The other two in my party liked their broths also! Definitely nice to not have to bug a server for food past the broth. As the night went on, it became packed. Which was super awesome for only their second night of soft opening! But that showed some things they need to work on. We waited a long time for our bill to come. There were only two young servers in uniform, one woman who we assumed was part of management, and manager in a suit. They definitely needed more people. We asked one server for our check, waited a while, then asked another, waited a while, then asked the woman, who helped us after another wait. But also with a soft opening, we already expected they would have their hands full. So I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt for now, but an update might come if this doesn't change a couple months later. We have been to this hot pot place several times. Love the conveyor belt style versus ordering from a menu. With the conveyor belt, you eat with your eyes and select all of the veggies, meats, seafood and noodles that your heart desires. 'All you can eat is the way to go since lately their portions have gotten much smaller. For example, Brussel sprouts, you get 3 sprouts. They are cut in quarters but still only 3. That isn't worth $2. If you do all you can eat you can go crazy. At least I do. Lol. The service is a bit hit or miss. A few times we will see other tables sat after us getting their drinks and pots to cook in before we get contacted. The great food and good prices make up for that though. Also, love their sauce bar. Our first try at this hot pot place off of Quincy in Aurora. I have to say it was pretty good & we'll be back. In hindsight, the All You Can Eat (AYCE) option probably wasn't necessary for either of us, but maybe for a very hungry high school or college-aged person it might be a better deal. The conveyor belt has a wide variety of options, so there's something for most everyone. The sauce station has lids, open them to see all the *other* ingredients you missed after seeing the nước chấm, hoisin and sriracha on the top ;) The service was Ok, I think they rely on the conveyor belts a *lot* to supply people, so they were light on servers. The servers were friendly after you were finally able to get their attention, but it took a while. No beer (or wine), which is a disappointment, but can be the norm. The last time we went to K+ it was a Friday evening and the wait was pretty long. This time we went on a Thursday evening and we were seated right away. My family & I really enjoyed all the different veggies (3+ different mushrooms, spinach, pho veggies, corn, etc), meat (lamb, beef slices, meatballs), seafood (squid tubes, shrimp, crab), and noodle options (udon, crystal noodles, fresh ramen, instant ramen packs). They have a couple of different broths - I've always gotten the pho broth. They have a large drink menu as well, I've always gotten their thai tea. We always do the all you can eat option instead of the pay-by-plate color since we usually grab ~20+ plates for our family of 3. The restaurant is clean. The conveyor belt moves pretty fast, so you don't have to wait too long for the things you want to come around. And every time you grab something from the belt, its replaced by the time it comes around again. We were also given to-go cups for our drinks we didn't finish. We've gone to a couple different hot pot places in Aurora/Denver and this is our #1 favorite. read more

They don't bring you a bill. They tell you the total at the front, and then you pay and sign. They should bring the bill before asking for payment so customers can see the charges. I had never been to a hot pot restaurant before, so this was a new experience for me. I've done the sushi conveyor belt places, so I understood the basic idea though. Everybody at the table gets a burner and a pot. You pick the broth that you want and then pick items off of the conveyor belt to cook in it. The color of the plates tells you how much each one costs. I chose chicken broth for myself and my kids and my husband chose the spicy one (which even my hot sauce loving husband said was really hot). There are a few others that you can choose from for broth, and a ton of different things that come by to cook in it. All sorts of veggies, shrimp, clams, mussels, thinly sliced beef, chicken, fish cakes, meatballs, and a variety of different noodles. I had to stop myself because I just kept wanting to try more. I also ordered one of their lemonade carafes to share with my kids. They're meant to be a single serving I think, but work really well for a few small drinks. There's a sauce/toppings bar by the door so you can pick an assortment of ways to personalize your food as well. My only ding is for pretty slow service, but they are new so I can see that improving. They didn't have an alcohol license yet either, but I think they're working on getting one. My family loved it overall and will be back for more. read more

I really wanted to like this place because I love hot pot! Unfortunately, this was incredibly expensive and we got sick. My friend and I spent the next 24 hours in the bathroom after eating here. We got different broths and each ordered our own beef, but shared the mix-ins so I'm not sure what made us so sick. Nothing was explained. Their menu is confusing, they have different options for all you can eat versus a la carte versus meals ordered off the menu. I had no idea they had a sauce bar until we were leaving and walking past it. We only saw our server until they dropped off our broth, then we never saw her again. We used the call button multiple times and finally flagged someone down when we were trying to pay. I have only been to hot pot once (The Bronze Empire - HIGHLY recommend!) and it was more of a family style option, sides were huge and large enough to share with everyone getting their own broth. They will also refill your broth at no additional cost and because the sides are so large, you really feel the value for the price. This place is also incredibly expensive for what amounts to a bowl of soup and mostly no-service and self-cook. For a la carte, the broth is $4 each and they have $2 sides and $3 sides from the belt. The sides are small (like 2 mushrooms sliced up or a handful of spinach small). The all you can eat is $20 and the all you can eat BBQ and hot pot is $30. The BBQ isn't true Korean BBQ over the little grill, it's a sort of pan attached to your pot on the burner. Our bill was $50 and we were on the a la carte menu. When we finally got our check and paid, we were charged more than we should have been. We only got 6 veggies which were the $2 option, but were charged for the $3. Drinks, including just a soda, are $5 or more. Even if we hadn't gotten sick, I wouldn't come back. read more
