The lobby area was big enough to hold some groups, but you can also wait elsewhere because they text you when the table is ready. The all-you-can-eat hot pot is $29.99 per adult. You get individual pots, so you can choose your own soup. They have a limited selection of meats, veggies, skewers, and frozen seafood that is included in the AYCE. Appetizers, drinks (including alcohol), and desserts are a separate charge and on a separate menu. They give you a piece of paper to mark what you want and how many orders. I've been to the bronze empire twice now and I love love love the way they do hot pot. Each person gets their own personal stove with their own personal broth. You otherwise order things as a group. I love the lamb and the variety of mushrooms that the have. I got the tom yum pot the first time which was delicious. It has proven itself to be one of the best AYCE hot pots in Denver. We were seated right away and our server was quick to take our order and super quick with new orders for food. I love all of the base options. I went with the chicken broth one. I think next time I'll try the miso pot. The brisket was the best beef and cooked fast and tasted delicious. I love the scooper that they give you. Helps when you lose things inside. That happens a lot at other places and you can scoop it out or find it hidden under other things. I am not very familiar with hot pot and what constitutes authenticity for it, but I have been told from multiple friends that they are the real deal. Nice place to chow down. I think most people come here for the hot pots. They also have a selection of non-hot pot dishes. For the hot pot, you select the broth base, then select any additions (meats, vegetables, etc). When they come out, you basically cook it in your individual pot. It's a fun experience, especially if you've never done it before. Each addition costs money, but they can range from a few dollars to more expensive. It's a good way to create your own meal. The service is very good, very attentive. Also, if you're ever confused they do a good job of explaining the process. Also, they offer free refills of the broth. read more

Food: Lamb skewers were our favorite thing of the meal - great seasoning. Tom yum broth was tasty. The spicy broth had a layer of oil on top which my friend did not enjoy. I thought their meat was slightly higher quality than other ayce hot pot places. Their other items are comparable to other places although Old Town's fuzhou fish balls are better. Service: Friendly and attentive staff. There was no wait for a party of 2 on an early Friday night although the restaurant did seem to approach capacity around 6:30pm. You can make a reservation for parties of 4 or more. Other: Lots of free parking in the plaza. Your first round is marked with pencil on their paper menu but each subsequent round is just verbally asking your server to put additional orders in. The table for 2 feels pretty small but it works out just fine since they have a 3-tier tray to set your hot pot items on. $30 as of 11/2024 which is about the same as other similar places. Each meat order came in 8 slices and the other dishes came in about 4 pieces. What makes this place different than other hot pot is their skewers. I was so excited when I heard bronze empire had switched to the AYCE model of business. Previously, I had only dined here for special occasions and always left very satisfied with food and service but a bit lighter in my pockets. Since they switched to the AYCE, I've tried to come back twice. The first time, the reservation system allowed me to make a reservation for a lunch seating. When my friends and I arrived, we were dismayed to find out they didn't open until hours later for dinner. Bummer, but ok. We went elsewhere and decided to try bronze empire at a later date. The second time, we knew we had to come for dinner. I attempted to make reservations as soon as we set a date and time (months ago), but now the reservation system said it didn't accept reservations for parties smaller than 5. Okayyyy. We arrived and were asked if we had made a reservation. I was confused and stated that I had tried but was unable to do so since we were only a party of 4 and the system would not allow me to do so. The hostess nodded and stated that a/ona reservation, we would have a 40 minute wait. I'm not happy but I'm hungry so we decide to wait. Thirty five minutes later, we are told a table is almost ready. Ten minutes after that, I check in at the hostess stand and they now tell me it would be at least another 30 minutes. What? You just told me a table was about ready for us! Another hostess came to check and confirmed it would be at least another half hour. My friends and I decided we were done waiting because there's only so many mistakes I'm willing to overlook before deciding a business doesn't need MY business. TL;DR: make a reservation. They're only open for dinner. Don't trust the hostess to give an accurate wait time. Bottom line: I'm sticking to Aki and Old Town. Where all the Asian folks go for Chinese hot pot. read more
