Ok this was a pleasant surprise. I think this used to be a house maybe that was turned into a restaurant. It looks deceiving upon first view. It's small and quaint. We were greeted as soon as we came in and got lucky we arrived right before the rush. We were seated and a server took our order. The orders of meat are pretty large so make sure to come hungry! The food was really good. Servings were heaping. They have a sauce bar, not a huge variety of options but it did the job. I will thank Yelp for this find because it definitely came thru!

I absolutely love Yummy Hot Pot and have been coming here for years. The service is friendly and attentive, features I have found to be rare of AYCE style restaurants. The ambiance isn't as flashy as other hot pot places in Denver, but the restaurant is still cozy and well maintained. Parking can be a bit of an issue due to the small lot, and sometimes the wait can be long, but I absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for an authentic and friendly hot pot experience.

Hotpot. All you can eat. Lamb, beef, pork, shrimp, seafood, rice, noodles, eggs, vegetables... It's my favorite restaurant in Colorado.

Don't miss out on this place! Parking is easy to pass, so watch out for the Yummy Hot Pot lit sign on the building. We went on a Tuesday and there were several tables already dining at about 5:15pm. I felt lucky to go at this time to beat the crowd that eventually came. It's AYCE, you tick box everything you want and there are so many veggie options. I also went to try the clams since it was limited 3 per order so I was curious. The only hot appetizer available were gyoza, which we did not try this time around. White rice is self serve but different types of noodles are also available for other base options. I got the mushroom base broth, my boyfriend got the pork broth. Then the menu was taken away. We received the most beautiful basket of ingredients and two plates of meat we ordered. Both the pork belly and the beef were very thinly sliced and there was a lot of it on the plates. We dove right in and right away I loved everything. The most outstanding were the meats. They were tasty in the broth only without the sauces but also just great quality and thawed properly. The clams were HUGE, heavy, but the meats inside were much smaller than you'd think. I think it was a great experience to have. I've never had clam shells that big before. The mushroom broth was definitely saltier than the pork broth. Both were still clean tasting and complimented the ingredients. Sauce bar was legit and they had anything you could imagine there. The highlight was the cilantro and the peanut sauce. You can order as you go, but unfortunately without the menu I had to go off my memory of what we originally ordered. If I missed out on any items, I didn't remember them. I'll have to remember to ask for another menu next time as a reference.

Who does not love HOT POT?!?! I DO! Wow! Came here for lunch with the girlfriends at opening on a Sunday. Hardly anyone and we got seated right away. Staff was very friendly. Place is casual and I like the artwork. We had different broths. I had the Tom yum, a friend had the mushroom broth, and my other friend had the bone broth. My broth was delicious. We were also served dumplings too and those things are scrumptious and dangerous! Lol. We ordered quite a few meats and vegetables for our hot pot. The two friends opted for bean thread noodles and I opted for ramen. This place is absolutely delicious!! I definitely will be coming back here again!

Ambiance: Yummy Hot Pot is not a fancy restaurant by any means, it is very busy and noisy but what would you expect from a popular restaurant. Service: Service was great, we went on a Sunday evening and they were extremely busy they had a line out the door. They sat us down right away and food was out within the first 10 minutes of being seated. Staff were friendly and attentive and ensured we had a great dining experience. Food: The food was really good, I ordered the pork bone broth and my wife ordered the spicy broth. Both broths were very tasty especially when you add the chefs special sauce to the mix. We also got the fried dumplings which were delicious as well. This place has earned its spot on our favorite restaurant list, food is great, service is great and it's close to home. The parking is a bit of a pain it's a very tiny parking lot but they do have additional parking at the bank. I would 100% recommend this restaurant

My boyfriend and I went back to this restaurant a year later and it did not disappoint! It was definitely busy on a Friday night so I'd recommend getting on the waiting list since it's a smaller and more intimate setting. We didn't have to wait super long though. Come hungry because the food keeps on coming! I also recommend trying the endless dumplings. This place is especially great during the colder months.

If you're in the Denver area, highly recommend this hot pot restaurant. It's good to call ahead and reserve a table if you're in a large group. We were there for the Christmas Eve lunch. It's was too crowded initially (around 11:30 am), but people started to come around 1 pm. I am a huge hot pot fan. Often go to the one close to our house in DC. However, my husband's family had never been to hot pot. They were excited to try this cuisine. I gave them step by step instructions on how they can make their own sauce, order broth and anything from the menu. It's all you can eat. We ordered at our own pace. Some hot pots have time restrictions. This one fortunately did not have time restrictions. I absolutely loved it. They seemed to have enjoyed it as well. Service was great. They were very responsive every time we had to order more food or clear our table. Very nice as well. It's about $27 for one which is about the same price we pay in the DC area.

The Jalapeño Crab Cheese Wontons were packed with flavor and came with the perfect sweet/spicy dipping sauce. The Pork Roti was unreal and officially a must-order for me moving forward. I kept taking bites trying to figure out what ingredient made it taste THAT good. Then the Khao Soi with fried chicken completely sealed the deal. Service was quick to take the order, refill water and clear out empty plates/steamer baskest. The dishes coming out of the kitchen was at a more erratic pace, but it's all about the food. Mapo tofu was good, with a light slick of chili oil. The flavors were spot on with little chunks of fermented salted broad beans. The heat was also moderate, but it did have a kick as you were eating it. That signature mala numbing spiciness started building, but not hot enough for my palate. Green beans were also nice and tender. Sometimes when they come out the fryer, the skin can be a little leathery, but wasn't present here. BBQ Buns were very soft and tender, loaded with BBQ pork. The shao mai had a nice bouncy texture and cooked well. Shrimp Lo Mein had the flavors of the Chinese American classic, it looks like the noodles were hand made too. Only miss was the shrimp dumplings. They were too close to each other and they stuck together. The wrapper was also overcooked, but somehow the shrimp was not. Nearly impossible to pickup with chopsticks, because the wrapped just fell apart, even with a delicate touch. Worth a stop and probably tastiest Chinese food in the neighborhood. It was getting crowded and there was a wait by the time we left. However it was Denver restaurant week, so not sure how it usually is during the week.

The vibe here is of a japanese izakaya, though not a super traditional one, with sake bombs and everything. That said, the food is definitely on the pricier side, though extremely delicious. My typical go to is on of the salad. Now salads typically are not standout at most restaurants, but the ones at Kawa Ni just hits different. Both the red cabbage and pear salad and the brocolli salad are delicious and the portion is massive, easily enough for a table of 4 to share. For apps and shareable entrees, you can't go wrong here. The build your own tuna temaki hand rolls can easily be shared and the tuna is so fresh and well seasoned. The szechuan dumplings are delicious, as is the curry onigiri and the bao bun. The Dan Dan noodle, kimchi Carbonara, and their tonkotsu ramen are also amazing, and, with the exception of the tonkotsu ramen, can easily be shared. I would highly recommend other seasonal dishes as well, such as the coconut swordfish or chicken katsu parm. However, one of my absolute favorite dish here is the ochazuke. It's basically grilled fish over rice in a warm green tea dashi. It's so comforting, especially on a cold night, and a dish that I return to time and time again. Overall, Kawa Ni is an amazing japanese restaurant. Come for the food and just make sure you get a sake bomb and ask for the gong when you do.

Cravings absolutely satisfied…read more We were in CO for the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club specialty and I cannot go anywhere without having some sort of Asian food. That evening, I was craving pho. Pho 92 came recommended and I was immediately drawn to the clear broth in the photos while researching Yelp for Vietnamese food. It was a Thursday evening when we arrived at Pho 92, and the restaurant was packed. It was loud, with staff bustling about and patrons enjoying their meals. The aroma of the pho broth was just as I had hoped for a busy restaurant. We waited approximately 10 min for a table. The staff were pretty efficient and looked to have a good system going for bussing tables. Hailing from CA, I am no stranger to good pho, and this place hit the spot. I'm so glad I decided to get the regular instead of the large, because wow those portion sizes were indeed huge. My husband made the "mistake" of ordering the combination vermicelli bowl, and it came packed with tender proteins and crispy egg rolls. That just meant for some delicious leftovers (that actually reheated perfectly). The pho broth was as clear as I had imagined from looking at other patrons' photos. It still had a good depth of flavor, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It had been a long travel day for us, so I didn't want oily soup. (Sometimes I do enjoy rich, oilier pho broth, but not that night.) The pho came with a plethora of herbs, which I of course used all of. Be warned that their chili oil is very spicy, which I accidentally put too much of without first trying (oops). I generally don't go to the same spot twice during a trip, as I enjoy trying out different local businesses, but Pho 92 would have been a spot I'd return to again if we had had the time and if I had wanted pho again. Their menu is huge, so there are plenty of dishes to choose from to satisfy your cravings, whatever those might be for any given day. We will definitely be back the next time we visit CO!
