This place was so yummy! The broth I got was spicy, but I couldn't stop eating it. Was sooo good!! I love the sauce area where you can make your own kind of sauce!

Second time eating here. Opted for an early dinner to beat the NYE crowd. Clean, simple menu, flavorful food and the most friendly staff. Choose your broth, protein and vegetables, then pick your sauces at the sauce bar. The servers will make sure your water is full and refills on the HotPot fixings are replenished. Tonight we opted for spicy broth and beef and pork belly. The broth was flavorful, very earthy and not very spicy, (to me), which was nice, but I do prefer the more traditional bone broth. You can get an ice cream cup as an included dessert and on NYE they gave us chopsticks in a carrying pouch, lovely touch! Give this a try and walk it off by exploring GW next door.

I forgot to take a picture before we started eating but we were so hungry! This has been one of my go to hot pot spot for many years and every time I go it really hits the spot. They put something in their sauce and broth because it is super addicting and I always want to come back. They have a lot of items to choose from and we always get the beef, pork belly, a variety of veggies, and noodles. The servers here are always so much fun and they know exactly what we want because we come here so often. The times I have came in they have always been busy and we usually wait around 10-15 minutes for a table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a huge restaurant with lots of space and I also really like how much space there is on the table because always end up ordering a lot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This hot pot place has you order everything off a menu, the broth, meat, and veggies. The sauce bar is self serve. There were several options here. I definitely appreciated the garlic sauce and fish sauce. I tend to lean more savory. They have several options meats and veggies. The kids usually get the beef broth and the adults get the spicy one. My only complaint is that I wish there were more than 2 raw beef options. They had several meat and seafood balls, but I would have wanted more of the raw beef that can dipped in the soup. Service was great. They're quick with your orders and friendly. The drinks are in fridge and you just get whatever you want. It's an all you can eat place and for the price, I think it's great for what you get. At the end, everyone does get ice cream. Overall, a great place for a family dinner. I would return.

Decent all you can eat hotpot. We came here on Saturday around 5:40pm and the restaurant wasn't too busy. We got table right away. Order was easy. Food took a bit of time to get ready as we ordered for 4 people at once. Almost everything was good. The squid was too chewy than normal fresh squid, so I was unsure of its quality. The soup base flavor was simple and didn't stand out much. There is a sauce bar at the end that you can mix up some stuff as you go. Staffs are friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Good price for all you can eat.

Our friends took us to Aki Asian Hot Pot for lunch. Admittedly, I am not a fan of restaurants where I have to work for my food. Basically at Hot Pot restaurants, you choose what kind of broth that you want. The broth you choose is placed in a pot in front of you. While the broth is simmering, you add the ingredients into the broth. Then you take it out when it is done cooking. To me that is work. I like it when the food is already fully cooked, and placed in front of me. Then I just dig in and enjoy. I was the only one in our group who is not a fan of Hot Pot restaurants. All the food that our group ordered appeared fresh. The various meats, seafoods, and veggies all tasted fine. The staff was very attentive and polite. Overall, it was a good experience. Although I am not a fan of these Hot Pot restaurants, everyone else in our group was. They were all happy and satisfied which was nice to see.

What's a better treat than enjoying a hotpot in arctic weather like yesterday. Went to Aki Asian Hotpot right by the Mississippi Great Wall Supermarket, as Old Town was closed on Wednesdays. Haven't been here for a while since the opening other more convenient hotpot spots, but was pleasantly surprised by Aki's service, speed and selection. Besides fewer soups and the absence of seafood pancake, crab and fresh oysters, the selection was comparable and more than enough for my appetite. Certainly will come back here more often.

The best thing about this place is probs the price. $23.99 for weekend dinner is pretty much unmatched in any city. BUT that being said, orders that came out was only like 80% accurate. For example we got meatballs which we didn't order and never got 2 other orders that we did put in. On top of that the spicy broth tasted like all it had was peppers. Spice but no depth or seasoning/savory-ness to it. My friend also thought the pork and beef bone broth wasn't that flavorful and a bit watery. The sauce bar didn't have a ton of options or fruit. And the fatty beef meats were cut kinda small making it hard to cook and grab back out. You also would have to keep ordering the beef more often. Some of the veggies weren't that fresh and the beef tripe... don't get me started on it. Just don't get it. And if you order clams. They're huge and take forever to cook just a heads up. Staff was nice and food came out quickly. There was decent variety in the menu. I think if they stepped up their broth game and freshness of some dishes it would be a lot better.

This was my first hot pot experience and I was not disappointed. The price was great ($23.99 for adults) at any time of day for all you can eat with a wide range of options of proteins including meat, seafood and tofu, veggies and noodles to choose from and even an ice cream for dessert. You mark you order on a paper and they will bring your entire order within minutes. They have a few different base broths and a sauce bar with diverse toppings/sauces. If you don't want the spicy broth but do want some spice, you can ask for a side of spicy sauce so you can add as much or as little spice as you like. You boil your food at your table with your individual burner. There are some 4 person benches and some long tables. They are quick to refill water as well as your broths. The only issue we ran into a few times was the burner turning off on it own but staff were quick to fix it for us each time. Parking is not an issue as it is in a large strip mall with lots of parking. We went at 3pm on a Saturday and we're able to get a booth but by 5pm it was filling up so reservations likely recommended for peak times.

    Do they serve beer?

Yup! They have bottles of beer.

Is there a limit for the all you can eat cause i know some restaurants advertise it as all you can eat but there is actually a limit?

No, no limit. I always eat till I'm stuffed or almost stuffed. Sometimes I have stuff left overs after ordering more than I can eat and it's never been a problem.

Is the spicy beef broth an extra charge?

It's not an extra charge. It's one of the choices. Enjoy!

Are there round tables for larger groups or just the long tables?

It is just the long tables unfortunately.

How much do kids cost? Is it the same?

Each age range has its own price. Age 4-6 is $6.99, 7-9 is $10.99, and 10-12 is &12.99. Kids 3 and under are free. Adults $19.99 All you can eat. Seniors $17.99

But KPOT is still great, they have tons of meats/veggies/sides for both their BBQ and HOTPOT section! This is definetely on the expensive side of things especially if youre going for dinner and even more if you do both bbq and hotpot, but we understand how expensive everything is going so we only go occasionally. But other than that they have great flavors for broth hotpot options, our go to is MISO BROTH: Light and slightly sweet japanese miso broth great for pairing veggies! CAJUN BROTH: A little bit newer, great cajun flavor and compliments seafood dishes The meats are also decent and they look really fresh and cut perfectly, we never had problems with their meats, LA GALBI is marinated to perfection and they always give us generous chunks of the pieces BEEF TOUNGE , meat always looks fresh and extremely delicious. SPAM cut for hotpots, they have the best cuts than other hotpot places, gives us fresh and generous cut of spam! Bathrooms are mostly clean all the time and plenty of seating, we never had to wait more than five minutes even when it is FULL HOUSE. Service is good and staff are friendly, when it gets busy its hard to flag someone down, but obviously understandable! Although I think its worth it if you just go here for both hotpot and bbq, on the pricier side of things, KPOT is a decent spot for some high quality meats and fresh ingredients!

Unfortunately, the experience was mixed--and ultimately disappointing. Before the meal, I stopped by the restroom to wash my hands. Both soap dispensers were empty or not working. I notified the bathroom attendant, assuming it would be quickly addressed. At the time, I brushed it off as a minor oversight. One of the highlights of Korean BBQ is always the variety of vegetable side dishes, and this visit did not disappoint in that regard. The assortment of banchan was plentiful--definitely the best part of the meal and something I always look forward to. However, the main dish fell short. I ordered the Kalbi Tang, which was quite disappointing. The beef ribs were clearly undercooked; the meat was tough, bristly, and difficult to chew. Instead of the tender, slow-cooked texture you expect from this dish. After the meal, I returned to the restroom--and to my surprise, the soap dispensers were still not working. This was no longer a small issue. It raised a serious concern: if customers didn't have access to soap, it's very possible that employees didn't either. The thought that staff might be handling food without properly washing their hands is unsettling and frankly unacceptable. I once heard a food inspector say that if you want to judge a restaurant, check the bathroom first. If they don't care about maintaining a basic level of cleanliness, it often reflects what's happening behind the scenes. Unfortunately, this experience reinforced that idea. While the side dishes were enjoyable, the combination of poor entree quality and concerning hygiene issues makes it hard to recommend returning anytime soon.

That's a pretty strong endorsement. Also the interior of the restaurant was fairly modern and clean. For anyone unfamiliar with it, soondae (순대) is a traditional Korean blood sausage made by stuffing pork or beef intestines with a mixture of blood, glass noodles, rice or starch, and seasonings. It's one of Korea's most popular street foods and is typically enjoyed with salt or a dipping sauce. One thing to know before you go: this restaurant specializes in soup-based dishes. Every entrée revolves around soup, including the bulgogi. I had never seen bulgogi served in a broth before, so it was a pleasant surprise for both my boyfriend and me. Most of the soups also included clear glass noodles and came in a wide variety of combinations, so there were plenty of options to choose from. One detail I really appreciated was their takeout packaging. If you have leftovers, they use a professional heat-sealing machine that applies a thin plastic seal over the container before the lid goes on. It's a thoughtful touch that keeps the soup leak-proof and makes transporting leftovers much easier. If you're craving authentic Korean comfort food--especially soondae soup--this place is definitely worth a visit.
