The suya was absolutely on point--perfectly seasoned with that authentic spicy, smoky flavor that hits exactly how it should. You can tell they respect the roots of the cuisine. The atmosphere brings everything together. The Afrobeat music flowing through the room creates an energy that makes the whole place feel alive. It's one of those spots where you're not just eating--you're experiencing the culture. Great food, great music, and a vibe that feels warm and soulful. If you're in Atlanta and want a place that blends African flavor with a lively Afrobeat atmosphere, the Red Room at Mr. Soul is definitely worth the visit.

I feel like they need to upgrade their fries vendor. They tasted old and I was underwhelmed. There's better quality fries in this industry, especially just for the price point. It's overpriced and the quality is just not up to par. I don't mind spending money when it makes sense but this doesn't make any sense. It's probably other items on the menu that might be better quality. The suya it was dry in some parts tastes like it was heated up in the microwave and not fresh. The flavor just wasn't there. I've just had better elsewhere so I'm disappointed. I love the ambience of this lounge. It's always a good time. No complaints there.

Stumbled upon this while doing a search for Nigerian food specifically Jollof rice. At the time of…read morethis writing I was starting to give up hope on my search for quality like home Nigerian food in Atlanta. I've tried Ike's (not impressed), Little Lagos (trash), Cafe Songhai (OK), Toyin (not consistent). I decided to take a chance on this place because of the menu. I checked out their Instagram and saw some activity and pictures so I said why not? Pricing was reasonable. Customer service was BEYOND. My contact person was Yemisi and not only is she courteous but very pleasant and communicative from time of order placed to delivery. There is a delivery fee of $15. Pickup is in Gwinnett county area if wanting to avoid the delivery fee. When you place your order plan for a 2-3 day window for delivery. Packaging was EXCELLENT. Slight spillage from the stew but it's inevitable and overall packaging was great. I loved the baked goods especially the sausage roll and scotch eggs which packed a kick in heat with the spice level of the sausage. I appreciated that. I love spicy food. It was a slow burn (like black pepper spice not habanero peppers spice) so don't think it's spicy. Sausage rolls 5/5 just look at the beauties in the picture and they taste so good Meat pies 4/5 the filling is very soft like a baby could eat it but I loved the crust. I'm a fan of ground meat but not minced meat if that makes sense. Flavor was great though. Jollof rice 4/5 I was expecting more spice. I would order this again but request more heat. If you top it with the goat meat stew this will also help. Goat meat stew My favvvvv! So good. The type of stew you would find at Nigerian parties and weddings etc. Sooo good, spicy and flavorful and the meat was tenderrrr like I love. Would order this again and again and again in a heartbeat. Scotch eggs The showstopper! Listen I LOVE Scotch eggs and the way they made these. Let me tell you right now, hands down, the BEST Scotch eggs I've had the pleasure of eating. Sooooo good! The crunch of the exterior, the slow heat/slow burn of the sausage surrounding the perfectly boiled egg. WOW!!!!

So disappointed! I ordered the jollof rice and goat. The rice was spectacular but the goat was so…read moretough that I threw it away. Since this was my first time trying this restaurant, I tried two dishes. The other was a stew with turkey and white rice. I thought the turkey might make up for the goat but...:nope! Just as tough and inedible! Honestly, they should just sell rice as that was the only bright spot of this meal.

I drove by this place yesterday and remembered I had tried them out months ago in May…read more Googled African restaurants and was surprised to find one in the Kennesaw area. Made my way over there. The set up of the restaurant was nice ... they have a nice seating area... They offer Nigerian/African food and also Italian food... this is a combo I have never seen. Went to the restaurant in the evening and ordered food to go for several people. The wait time was horrendous.... Over an hour... I think they may still have been newish then... maybe still trying to get themselves together... I almost left several times. They offered bread and juice while we waited but still... They were also getting orders from food delivery services and the like at the same time taking phone orders... The food was okay. Nigeria has many cultures and you can tell the food had an eastern influence... That part of the country is known for its variety of flavorful soups/stews. The Jollof spaghetti which I was excited for needed salt... I may give them another try.... Perhaps call in my order earlier in the day before I get there and hopefully they'll have gotten things together as far as timing goes If you're thinking about it... I think it's worth it to check it out..
