It was major work. The insulation in the attic was removed and new material was put in after they thoroughly cleansed the attic. They also covered/repaired all potential openings that lead inside the property. They will continue doing follow-ups for the next month or so (This was done yesterday by Francisco). Their guy found where the mouse was entering the house and he set traps and ultimately the tenants found it dead under the oven. It was mostly a good experience except for the melted rat glue I had to spend hours clenaing up. So, when my mom discovered termites flying iaround the livingroom, I called around for quotes. No oine would give me one over the phone. They all had to come out and do an inspections first. A few wanted to charge for just the inspection alone. So I called and hired Fenn's Termite department to send out inspectors. Juan showed up on time with his partner and they inspected the holes in the livingroom, exterior of the house and underneath in the crawl space. His guy suited up with a mask and did a long inspection and took photos to show me. The termites were building towers up to the wood floors and eating the wood. Juan suggested they do a subterranean treatment by spraying into the soil and the wood to get rid of all termites and ants and anything elses. He also suggested we tent the whole house but due to my parent's health issues, that wasn't going to be possible. We went with the spraying onlly. About a week and a half later, Fidel and Elijah showed uip in their truck on time. They even called ahead. They drilled a few holes in the livignroom floor, sprayed and sealed it. Then they got to work suiting uip and getting into the crawl space to spray. They spend a coutple of hours and assured me that all the termites and ants wouildn't be a problem anymore. There was a 1 year warranty and Fidel told me if for any reason we did see insects within the 1 year period, I could call them and they'd come out and take care of it. Fidel and Elijah were professional and polite. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyhone in need of termite service. Thank you Fenn.

Juan from Pro Excel Pest had recently controlled a rat situation in my attic, and I'm so grateful…read morefor how calm and professional he was during the entire process. When I was trying to get quotes for service and was dealing with poor and long drawn-out communication with other pest control companies, he stood out in the best possible way, promptly returning my call to schedule an inspection and consultation. Juan was also the least alarmist in his assessment of my problem. After the inspection he told me where he thought the rodents were coming in from and then offered a conservative plan of treatment: installing wire screens over those entry points, placing traps in the attic and crawl space, and monitoring the areas for a month to see if the rats returned. Compare this to a consultation and quote from another company, where they seemed to describe my attic as one big hazmat situation filled with rat droppings. On top of the exclusion service, they were pressuring me to do a costly deep cleaning of the attic with an install of new insulation, saying that they were available the next day to do all the work and that the rats would multiply exponentially if I didn't act soon. I didn't feel comfortable with being scared into the hard sell, so I didn't go with that company. (Later on I asked Juan if I needed my attic cleaned, and he said that the number of droppings was pretty minimal, so no.) It's been a month since the barrier screens were installed, which seemed to have solved the problem right away -- during each weekly follow-up visit from Pro Excel Pest to check the traps, they came up empty. And thankfully I'm not hearing any more squeaking or chewing noises in any part of my house. Am so happy with the result, and was happy to work with someone as pleasant, professional and efficient as Juan.
