We had a very serious ant problem (they were "marching" along the top of the walls in the Living Room!) that our long-time pest service was not able to eliminate. They had used some type of sticky bait along the path of travel, but all this accomplished was attracting more ants. They don't call it "bait' for nothing. At wits end, I remembered a company I had used years before for termite fumigation and called them; enter Pest Solutions. I spoke with Susan and she was able to schedule an inspection for the following day with Robert. After observing the activity in the living Room and then walking the exterior of the premises, he was able to determine that there was an ant colony living along the foundation and that they were coming up under the house and through the chimney shaft. His "pest solution" was to treat the ant colony with an eco-friendly product (we have pets and are concerned with plant health) that was sprayed along the exterior wall and then another eco-friendly product which was applied along the top of the Living Room wall. It should be noted that when they did the work in the living room, they wore shoe covers, covered the furniture with plastic and used ladders that had the bottoms covered to protect our floors. Long story short; the ants were eliminated and we now have a professional and diligent service provider. Pest Solutions is now at our property the third Wednesday of every month, We receive a call the day before to confirm the service and to advise the 2 hour window of when they will arrive. Our technician Jorge, is a pleasure to work with and does a walk through each visit before applying the eco-friendly spray to the perimeter of the house , which has kept the ant activity under control these past ten months. Finally, Pest Solutions is the only call needed for our pest problems which have ranged from a wasp nest under the eaves of a guest room to signs of rat activity by the pool. There's good customer service for the sake of providing good customer service, and then there's good customer service because they want a positive review on Yelp. The latter is just fine, but the former will always win me over. This company definitely belongs in the first category. I am in the process of buying a home, and received the pest/termite report from Pest Solutions done on behalf of the seller (read: I am NOT the client/customer). However, I called them anyway to talk about my concerns, and Mike (the owner) took quite a bit of time to make sure all my concerns were addressed, and not in a hurried "you're-not-even-my-friggin-customer" attitude. In fact, there was nothing but patience on his part as I went through my list of questions. Mike walked me through the report item by item, telling me what has been treated and what else needs to be done. He definitely put me at ease with some of my concerns, and explained their treatment warranties as well. As you can see from their minimal Yelp presence (this is their 2nd review), they're probably not even aware they have a Yelp page. Thus, the excellent customer service Mike provided to me today was clearly out of good character, and he was not in any way shooting for a 5-star review. My company recently has been having problems with fleas so my manager asked that I get a few pest control companies to come to our office and see how we can control the issue. I found Pest Solutions from Yelp and decided to give them a call based on the positive reviews. The lady on the phone seemed ok but I had to repeat some of my information several times to her. My appointment with this company was on 6/2/2017 in the morning. The two women that came seemed very unprofessional and awkward. I had to initiate the conversation because they stood in front of my desk, quiet and unsure on what to say. Very unprofessional. After being here for a few minutes, they said they would be sending me a quote shortly. Tell me why it took them days for them to send me anything. I barely got their quote today (6/7/2017) by email with a bogus fee on it that I have no idea what it's for. It shouldn't take DAYS to get a quote from any company. I've had several other pest companies come in and give me a quote on the spot. I'm just glad my company will be not be hiring this company for our flea problem. read more

Two parts to this review. 1. When i called the first time, the manager was so honest. I told her I had pantry moths, and she gave me instructions over the phone about how to try to take care of them myself, so that i may avoid having to hire anyone. She said "We can come, but you should try this first because it may be enough", She could have easily taken advantage of me and sent someone but she was honest enough to try to save me unnecessary costs. 2. My efforts did not work:( So i called back and Reshad was sent. He was on time and very, very nice. He sprayed a thin dust and laid a special kind of trap in all over two rooms. I have yet to see if it fixes the problem, but they will be coming again in two weeks for a "touch up".
