Booked an appointment online with Simon. Upon arrival, I was greeted right away. The woman who shampooed my hair gave a nice head massage. Simon was efficient and kind. I requested to keep the length of my hair, cut off all dead ends, face framing layers and curtain bangs. I also requested he thin out my hair since I have such thick hair. We had a bit of a language barrier but he pulled out his Google Translate and then he was like "I know what to do." 45 mins later, he cut and styled my hair and I love it! Easy to schedule, beautiful haircut! I was impressed with the photos by this salon and scheduled my first appointment online with Simon. It was super easy to do. When I showed up, I was greeted immediately and waited for my stylist Simon. Simon showed me where I could store my large bag, and gave me a great hair wash. The chair for the wash had great massage options. Simon asked questions about the haircut I wanted and checked with me on length before making the first cut. I had very long hair and wanted to try layers, he absolutely gave me the hair cut I wanted and was very detailed as he was finishing the cut. Cheng did a great job cutting my daughter's hair! Even though there was a bit of a language barrier, we were still able to communicate what we wanted through pictures and a few questions he had. She got long layer u cut in the back for face framing layers and curtain bangs. Cheng was very thorough and detailed orient while checking the blends and lengths. Thinned out the ends a little so they fall nicely. He even dry dust cut the surface of her hair to remove all the dead and dry ends, leaving it smooth looking. Made an appointment at 12.30 for 1.45 with no stylist preference and came in, had to wait a little bit (10-15mins) understandably as I made a last minute practically walk-in appointment and all the stylist were with a client. I ended up getting Simon, who we had a small language barrier as I speak very poor mandarin but we managed to communicate and even get some laughs in! With the GOAT for the 2nd time - Simon!!! He not only crushes a fast time-saving haircut, but you can put your full trust in his skill and expertise to get the job done well. I'm always so satisfied by his approach to layers, texturizing, blending, and removing weight. His skill is in point-cutting where he's using the scissors and not relying on thinning shears like how noobs would approach it. As you may know, overdoing thinning shears will make the grow out look awful. Point cutting is the expert way to removing weight. Simon does this beautifully! He doesn't speak much English, but Google translate gets the communication across.
