This is my second time here. Each time they ran out of small rooms, so I was forced to pay more for bigger rooms. Even on the weekend, they have happy hour deals. I like that they have all the info available on their website. The song selection is pretty good. You can find English songs as well as Korean, Chinese, and Japanese songs. (I didn't check for songs in other languages.) They give you mic covers. I wish they had hand sanitizers inside the rooms. One thing that was weird was their food. We got Taiwanese sausage, but it came with ketchup (and not garlic). The fried mantou buns also came with MAYONAISE !?!! T.T (lowkey angry at this, like how dare you). It's supposed to go with condensed milk. It's located on the same floor as the parking lot. Just walk behind the stairs. read more

The reason for my rating is that, I really don't think it is worth the rate that they charge, especially with the lack of accommodations. I'm not asking for freebies or snacks even, but at least give us water??? Food - #/5 - N/A we did not order any food or drinks from the establishment so I will not comment on the quality. I will be able to say that they do provide these things but it is at a bit of a marked up price for what it is. ($4 for a bottle of water??) They didn't even provide us with water for the room. They have a No Outside Food or Beverage policy which is completely understandable. But not even providing water for your parties? Price - $$$- This place goes at an hourly rate and it depends on the number of people in your party that they place you in a small, medium or large room. Each room size has its own rate. Please call ahead to ensure you know what you know the pricing. I do think that it is on the more expensive side for Karaoke, especially when there were no accommodations. We booked a reservation for 8:30pm and we had to time ourselves. Honestly for these rates... you can get better rooms, accommodations and service in Koreatown for the same thing. We had a large room (9-11 people) for our party of 9 and it was roughly $78/hr. They calculate it down to the minute. Seeing as there wasn't another reservation after us that needed this room, they would have let us just keep going until we left and charged us however long we stayed. We paid after we left instead of prepay. Good thing we paced ourselves because that would have been really expensive. Service - 1/5 - There is a 18% service fee that is already included in our check when they don't do anything for us. Like I said, not even water was provided for our party of 9 people. They are pretty strict with their policy of no outside drink and food but they will hold your food for you at the front desk if you were coming from another restaurant with leftovers. I understand including gratitude because we are a larger party but it's actually just a mandatory 18% regardless of party size. Ambiance - 3/5 - The atmosphere is pretty typical and average of a Karaoke place. It was pretty clean and decent amount of space. Location - 2.5/5 - The plaza it is located in is a bit of a maze so it may be confusing but there is a good amount of parking at least? The system was a little difficult to use compared to other places, but it did have most of the songs we were looking for. The service is friendly but the snack was total trash. The calamari, fries, and dumplings weren't good at all, but the purpose is karaoke. There are cameras inside the room which I get, but is a little discomforting. YES! You can sing your heart out and not have to worry about your neighbors calling the cops on you for sounding like a torture room! This place definitely felt like a hidden gem to hang out with your friends. It's on the bottom floor of an otherwise unassuming plaza. (Not ground level). We reserved the large room that has a little stage to fulfill your pop star dreams! The room says 10, but we were a party of 6 and felt like it was the PERFECT size. We arrived and set up some decorations for our friend's birthday! They let us put decorations on the door to add a more "exclusive" feel which made our birthday girl feel special. And balloons. We had balloons everywhere! I see some people mention waiting a long time for food, but forget that when they go to restaurants there's also a wait time. It's okay, it's normal, and the workers there were really approachable if you needed anything else. Photo menu's on Yelp are DEFINITELY outdated. So scan the QR code on the table to see their updated menu! We ordered fries, popcorn chicken(my fav), fried fish tofu, fried shrimp, calamari, takoyaki, fruit plate, and pork leak dumplings! Most are fried food but it's soooo gooood to be bad sometimes haha. Karaoke here was so fun, the time passed by so quickly. The room was updated with two screens on opposite sides and a touch screen to find songs. No more of those giant books that everyone's touched and been all up on it. I've been and seen a lot of karaoke bars. This one stands out among all that i have experienced. There have different sized rooms and i think their biggest one from what I've seen can accommodate up to 20 people comfortably. Without leaving, you can order food and drinks by just pressing the service button along the walls- someone will come to take your orders. They have a huge selection that includes the latest releases in various languages, and they have a live concert version of the music, too. Parking was rather easy for me. There is ground level parking and street parking all around the building. There is also parking underground. You do not need to pay for parking. They are also other surrounding businesses that you might want to order from or a place to hangout to have breaks. They are open late as well. The restroom is clean, well maintained and easily accessible. The staff are all very friendly. I do plan to come back again. read more

Being this is my first private room experience, I would say i am happy with the experience and would return again w friends. The bigger rooms have a separate stage and has an extra monitor. The room we booked was clean and roomy for 4. The english playlist is extensive. We were able to locate 90% of the songs there with original music videos. The youtube option filled in the rest. The sound quality is decent and the multi-language song navigation system (is it what u call it?) is easy to operate. If you dont sing, you will hear sounds from the other rooms; however this wont be an issue once the music starts in your room. The service was prompt (there is an obligory 18% service charge on the room rental). It would have been kind if they offered to show us how to navigate the system when we arrived. The place is hidden away on the first floor of the building. The plaza is well lit, but since most of the businesses there are closed for good, watch your surrouding when you leave the area at night, especially if you parked on the upper levels. read more

Our mic has problem but pressing service request bell did NOTHING, we had to go outside on our own to get that fixed with absolutely NO service provided except asking us to pay and budding us out of the room around 6:30, the server NEVER showed up in our room at all when we pressed the service bell, and we HAD to pay mandatory 18% service fee for NO service?!? What's worse, the room we're budded out of earlier than happy hour's time ends at 6:30 cuz of an up coming reservation, the server didn't even start cleaning the room nor is there ANYONE in the lobby or outside of the store waiting! I have a medical condition that required constant access to hot water in an insulated mug. I understand the No outside food and beverage policy and its intent, and tried to explain the special circumstance with the manager. I'm okay buying hot water, I just need my insulated mug. The manager didn't have patience to even talk about it, dragged me out to the door and pointed to a sign that says "the business reserves the right to refuse service to anyone". Great happy hour price with gratuity despite any service. It was our 1st time at this karaoke place and we had to figure out how everything worked, but it was user friendly and we are smart people. This place is great! Just had my birthday here and had a great time! Literally all my friends commented on how much nicer this place was then the other karaoke spots we've been too. First off, the rooms are so nice! Big, clean, super comfortable. The sound system is excellent. We booked the VIP room for 16 people (could definitely fit more comfortably though). It has a huge projector screen on the wall so you can give a truly great performance. It basically puts you in a music video. They had every song we wanted to sing including Broadway songs! If you value customer service, the manager was awesome. He called me a few days before to confirm my reservation. He was seriously such a nice person. We were going to bring a birthday cake, but when he heard we didn't have one he brought me a delicious tiramisu pudding & champagne! Honestly, it was a great time! Recently came here for karaoke night with some friends for a birthday. This room is located in the same plaza where Daikokuya is at. We opted for the large room. The room itself was nice. It had a little stage with a retro microphone. The selection for karaoke was pretty mild though. There a handful of songs that weren't on there, and a huge delay in the system. The volume was locked, so we had to call the server a number of times to fix the volume. They also had a small selection of food. The yakitori items were not readily available, so really the only item they had was french fries. I love that there are tons of karaoke rooms now available and closer to SGV without needing to go to Ktown though. read more

The one thing to beware of is how long you are reserving your room. It is technically unlimited and they don't charge you ahead of time. My gf and I figured we only stayed 1 hour but ended up charging us for 2 hours. I wasn't timing myself, and there isn't a timer in the room to dispute this so I ended up paying for 2 hours. The total was about $125 including tip, popcorn chicken, French fries, and 2 bud lights. The front desk person had the audacity to ask for a tip and when I asked about the included 18% gratuity, he said sometimes customers tip twice. Seems like a scam to get more money. Our tab came out to be about a thousand dollars... Yikes! We had plenty of alcohol... Chinese beer, Soju, generic whiskey (yuck), water, chasers, etc., and of course being in the room for about five hours. But no food! Everyone sang their hearts out. Didn't matter which songs, but all of us tried. This is what being a good sport is all about. Now going back to the business. I have mixed feelings about this place. The Chinese beer was all we had. I wasn't sure why... Maybe this was all they served? The bottle whiskey was horrible. No choices to choose from. Oh well. The bottled Soju we had was fine. And overall, probably fifteen of us crammed into a pretty decent size room. Their service was okay. The waiter/waitress came in every so often to throw out trash. Overall, we had fun only because we were amongst good company during the time, and didn't care much about anything else. If it wasn't for us being there that night, it would have been an off, slow night for the KTV place I only think the KTV was barely half filled, and we were probably the loudest and funniest. Why? Because the hallway was so quiet. One thing I think the place needs to improve on is their workers. To be honest, I think the security guard was the most friendly. No acknowledgement or greetings from the front main lobby as a few of us walked inside. Kinda sad. No personality from anyone working other than the security guard, the employees barely smiled. Please don't hate your job! It's supposed to be a fun place to work. Anyhow, difficult parking situation, hard to access businesses from the street, dark isolated-like plaza other than the ramen place that is busy, having little or no personality working at the KTV is not helping. I will start by saying this is my first karaoke experience in SGV and in general, my sample size for karaoke places is super limited but this place was awesome. 10 of us came on a Sat night (made reservations) and our experience was great. The room they gave us holds up to 13 so we were pretty comfortable. Everything felt clean and the general decor was as expected, in a positive way. The machine to select songs was easy to use, even for non chinese readers. All my friends aregree, we'd come back. The one negative is that alcohol is OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. 1 bottle of soju averages $18, which feels SO pricey when 99 rach is across the street and you can get 2 for $5. I can understand $10-12 range but $18 is overkill, especially given it's location. read more

The plaza is so quiet as if it's been abandoned, so it felt almost creepy to walk into the quiet plaza at night, not sure if there's any existing shops there because GPA has a little hard time finding us the exact plaza. PRO: Great sound quality and lightings in the room. The songs choices in English was amazing, we were able to find 95% of the songs we looked for. CON: The price is at the high range for a small room for 4 people. It was $38 hourly, but it adds 15% service fee every hour. It ended up to $108 after we stayed more than 2 hours. My group and I spontaneously decided to do a birthday karaoke when the next door Escape Room was full. They did not disappoint! Best karaoke spot I've ever been to. I'm used to Koreatown's manual controller song # punching system, so coming here to their giant touch screen was a huge upgrade. I was very impressed by the song selection as well. Plenty of songs with some of the most obscure songs you wouldn't find anywhere else. One of the cool features I noticed was the ability to switch from the original track with artist vocals to just the instruments so seamlessly. The service desk person was pretty thorough about explaining everything to us when we got there so I appreciated that. It's a little bit of a search where it's located because you have to kind of walk around a bit to find the store. In terms of ambiance the booth was hooked up really nicely. There was only four of us but it was just enough space. Also, their booth allows you to turn down the singing or turn it up. The volume accents were a great plus, on top of the microphone covers.
