I tried this yesterday and overall I really liked it. The portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. The beef had great flavor and was well seasoned. The only thing is the "spicy" beef wasn't very spicy for me. If you prefer stronger heat, you might want to ask for extra spice. Overall, it was a satisfying and enjoyable meal.

the corn dog was decent, very crispy and a good sized portion. it was made fresh and the wait was about 10min. the spicy fried chicken was kind of dry though, and the spice wasn't too spicy

The food here is soooo delicious!! I ordered the bibimbap and the fried chicken. I was pleasantly surprised to see some deep fried rice cakes thrown into the mixture of the fried chicken. It was the perfect combination of chewy and crispy deliciousness. The radish here is also super refreshing and a little sweet which is the perfect side dish to refresh your palate in between bites of the fried chicken. I've been to a lot of Korean restaurants and this is one of the top places I've been to for Korean soul food!!

This place has a reasonable prices for sure! We tried their fried chicken and they taste good but just a little bit on a dryer side! Good service with reasonable price!

I'm just gonna say it: it smelled weird in here. Damp, like a locker room. It wasn't bad enough to deter us but enough to color the experience negatively -- I imagine I'd probably rate this high if I had it for takeout (and, it seems like most people coming in were there for pickup). Still, sometimes these rough-around-the-edges mom and pop shops can be surprisingly good, and that was true for the Korean fried chicken. Spicy, crispy yet super saucy, and mixed in were these lovely, chewy little rice cake tteokbokkis. I'd pass on the bibimbap, as the bulgogi was chewier than expected and the oil was a little heavy handed. I have a feeling I would've liked this more after a drunken night out, so perhaps this great Korean spoon is best saved for late nights with friends.

Randomly stumbled upon K Soul Kitchen while looking for food on Polk on a Friday night -- and what a great find! Right as we walked in, a customer told us he loved this place and their chicken wings -- so of course, we had to try them. - Yang Nyum Chicken (Regular) -- 7-8 wings and drumsticks coated in a delicious, not-too-sweet homemade sauce; crispy skin, extra-moist meat inside, and even a few fried tteokbokki pieces for added crunch - Combo Sausage & Mozzarella -- the perfect meat-and-cheese pairing, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside We ordered takeout and waited about 15 minutes. Service was friendly and fast. The space itself feels cozy and homey -- great for a casual dine-in, though takeout seems popular judging by the steady stream of delivery pick-ups. K Soul Kitchen definitely satisfied our Korean fried chicken and corndog cravings -- sweet, crunchy, and the perfect Friday-night comfort fix.

I got this delivery, so could only give 4 stars. But I've got a hunch that if I were in person it would be 5. I started off with the corn dog. Holy moley. Even after going for a 30 minute uber ride it was still crunchy and super delicious. The batter is light and sweet, with a crunchiness from what I think was panko? I also got the galbi fried chicken, mixing boneless with wings. I love that they throw in some deep fried tteok: they're chewy, crispy and delicious. If I could do it over again, I would have gotten all wings for delivery: they're chewy were a bit crispier than the boneless. The sauce on them was outstanding. Like I said, great via delivery so I'm going to have to go in person!

Quiet ambience and very kind service. Both chicken dishes came with a bit of tteokbokki (rice cakes) and were well seasoned. For both dishes, a bit more sauce could have been added but still tasty! If you need a fix of Korean fried chicken, I would recommend trying this place out. 4/5 - the garlic and jalapeño chicken had better flavor and the spice was not too strong. They gave a very plentiful serving and was great to eat with a side of steamed rice. The fry had good crunch but the chicken itself was a bit dry. 3.5/5 - The galbi chicken was quite flavorful and the portions were plenty to share. We got the boneless version. We thought the chicken was a bit dry and not as tender but it was also great to eat with a side of steamed rice and their pickled onions.

I like how they have Korean corndogs and I don't have to drive all the way to the Outer Sunset for Stix to get one. I've also gotten the sizzling bibimbap which I liked, and it was filling. It's a good choice if you aren't that familiar with Korean food because it's more unique. I didn't like the friend chicken as much. I thought it was bland, I got the no sauce chicken so if I get it again, I'm going to make sure it has some sort of sauce on it. It seems like they have many different options for sauce.

This place has great korean fried chicken! We usually get takeout (call to order and pick up), and the workers are always so friendly. The chicken pieces are nice and big, very juicy! My favorite flavors have been the galbi chicken and the garlic & jalapeño chicken wings. I'm a person that doesn't like an overload of sauce, so I felt that the amount of sauce was perfect. We got the fries with our last order and they were also great! Very lightly seasoned, could argue that they need more salt, but I found that it worked perfectly with the chicken. We've only had takeout here so I can't comment on eating inside, but the dining area seems spacious and homey (with a bonus of kpop performances playing on tv). Would definitely recommend this place if you're craving good korean fried chicken!

Date: Sunday, January 26th, 2025 Party of: 2 Meal: Late Lunch / Early Dinner Delivery Time Ordered: around 4pm Time Delivered: around 45 mins later Order Placed: via DoorDash Delivered to: Outer Richmond #3. Garlic & Jalapeno Chicken ($18.75) - Regular, Wings, Sauce on the Side #2. Yang Nyum Chicken ($18.75) - Regular, Wings, Sauce on the Side *Spicy Sauce ($3) *Galbi Sauce ($3) *Go Chu Jang Sauce ($3) *Kimchi Sauce ($3) I was craving fried chicken. K Souk has popped up quite a few times on DD, so I finally decided to give them a shot. I got two reg orders since I wanted to try a bunch of different sauces. Tho I wish I could have ordered a large and chosen two diff sauces. Each reg order of chicken came with pink pickled radish. Out of all the sauces, I liked the garlic jalapeno the best. It was savory and spicy with is completely my mix of flavors. The hubby doesn't like honey, so he didn't prefer the a few of the sauces. I can't remember which ones, but I believe those included the yang nyum and spicy sauce. I thought the gochujang was a little too grainy and the kimchee needed some spice. The galbi was okay - a little too oily and sweet, but I mixed some of it with the garlic jalapeno and that cut into the fattiness of the sauce. Overall, I enjoyed the chicken and was happy to try a bunch of sauces. I just wished you didn't have to commit to a reg order of chicken each in order to sample multiple sauces. In my opinion chicken wings are better when they sit for a while after tossing. REVIEW #3685

    Finger Garlicking good

The NFL season and College Football regular season is coming around soon and nothing pairs better than some cold alcohol and some chicken wings . A good wing doesn't always have to be drowned in sauce. The sauce covered chicken wings create a mess and stains with all the sauces and it lacks giving a chance of tasting the original chicken for its seasoning and flavor. If you have to dip it all in that sauce it may not be the chicken that should win the taste for best chicken wing the prize may have to go to the dipping sauces . Although I like all kinds of finger licking chicken wings and sauces , I do appreciate a good wing which doesn't require to be dipped in sauce once in a while. K Soul Chicken has one of my favorite wings in San Francisco which is the garlic & jalapeños boneless chicken. This chicken isn't dry at all and packs some delicious flavor which wasn't too garlicky or too spicy. It had a great balance of crisp, glaze, moist, and tender. I been having Korean fried chicken for decades and it's good to see a spot which offers a variety of different flavors in San Francisco. There is a five star rating system ( yes like Yelp) for chicken wings and it's the reject pile, overrated pile, better than expected pile, underrated pile, and the must tasty pile . The K Soul garlic and jalapeños is in between the underrated pile and the must tasty pile which means it's so good you give it another whirl. Another thing I got was the Korean corn dog. They a variety of choices. I got the mozzarella cheese stick and it was so cheesy it stretches like bubble gum from Polk street to Van Ness Avenue. Cheese kept oozing out the stick. Overall come to K Soul for the tasty garlic and jalapeño's boneless chicken or get come here if you want to get the cheesy mozzarella stick. I have been eating within in all types of environments and restaurants to fit every San Francisco" lifestyles" from all across the world with different design "sole tiles" , gone through so many grocery "aisles" with some restaurants in SF are ranked by me in either in the low , or middle ( the average mean), and high "percentiles " Over the years I went to over thousands of places in San Francisco within over "46 miles "getting all kinds of drink and food and trying different "restaurant profiles " including chicken wings of different countries and "styles ", some were boneless wings some I had chicken bones stacked by the "piles"

Galbi chicken is great, and Korean corn dogs are probably the best we've had. Store owner is Super attentive and helpful great service.

The bartender wasn't super busy either. The drinks were hit or miss, espresso martini they had on the menu is probably premade bc I asked to change the liquor and he said I wouldn't be getting the one that's on the menu. Tried the one on the menu and lowkey hated it, tastes watered down and bitter. Although I tried my friends "butterbeer" cocktail and omfg if you have to order something get that. It was so good. Drink costs were about $16-$18. For me, it was nice to try and a fun experience! But probably one and done ToT

The taproom is quite spacious and could accommodate several large groups; however, the night of our visit was relatively quiet, perhaps due to the cold weather. As people came and went throughout the evening, it was convenient that we could each order our own beer and food at the bar. I selected an IPA from Fieldwork, a local favorite, and the beer stayed cold and refreshing throughout the evening. The food menu was limited, but I was craving something warm and salty to pair with my beer.
