My friend and I had some down time in the area and decided to try out this new Korean Spa in Buena Park. We did a walk in and got our scrub massage appt 30 mins later. The spa has coed jjimjilbang, but gender specific wet rooms. They will provide shirts and shorts "uniform" for lounging and co-ed areas. It's barefoot inside. Wet Room: +Hot Pool +Warm Pool +Cold Pool +Dry Sauna +Wet Sauna (It's more of a mist than steam sauna) Co-ed Common Area & Rooms: +Heated floors: the floor wasnt fully heated, the heat only got to certain tiles. +Forest Room +Salt Room +Ice Room- 2 sections, cool and ice +Red Clay Room The jjimjilbang was alright and I definitely experienced better. It was also Labor day, so it was busy with more kids than I'm used to. There's not many spa places like this in OC, so it's quite busy and we find the certain sauna rooms/ pools filled with many people already. There's a restaurant you can order from and eat in the common area. There's no other complementary refreshments, only water available. My favorite part was the scrub massage. My masseuse was Min and she did a wonderful job with the scrub and oil massage. The treatments also come with a cucumber facial which felt super nice! There's free plaza parking. read more

Have been looking for a Korean spa that allows both guys and gals go at the same time. (The ones in koreatown are usually separated. An exclusive one for gals or an exclusive one for guys. ) But here although the guys and gals have separate changing rooms, massage, & scrubbing, we can eat together at their restaurant as well as hang out at their heated floors and different themed rooms. I love me a Korean spa. I went to this one off of looking up other Yelp reviews. GLAD I DID! The receptionist were really nice on the phone and when we walked in. Greeting us with smikes It's a smaller spa, but very CLEAN. When you walk in you take your shoes off and place in smaller locker. Once you enter Locker area, all phones and clothes come off. Reminder: in spa area everyone is BUTT AZZ NAKED. You only wear clothes in common area. People were respectful of keeping the chatter down while in the spa area. They have Hot, warm and cold baths (whirlpools), along with steam and dry sauna. We opted for the GOLD scrub Let's get to THE SCRUB. Yessssss scrub me from head to toe and leave me feeling like I can take a nap. It was wonderful and my favorite part is always when they throw the warm water over your body. Great pressure with water and scrubbing of my scalp while washing my hair. The gold body mask was great and had my skin feeling silky smooth. I enjoyed the massage, but remember this is not a zen relaxing massage, it's more circulatory. I left feeling and looking 2 shades lighter. All the dead skin being scrubbed off reduces your stretch marks. You will walk out renewed and light. I highly recommend K Spa, for your wet spa needs. read more

Had a chance to visit Kspa on a weekend and it wasn't too crowded, granted we went during the early afternoon. Price was reasonable at $30 for 4 hours (this is the entry only cost) if you want any services or food, that will be additional. Upon entry, you are given an outfit to change into and a toothbrush. We skipped the pools but got washed up, changed into our fit and proceeded to the co-ed spaces. It was spacious and the center space had heated floors which were nice to lay on. One side had a huge projector displaying scenic views and relaxing music that you can lay down and stare at to fall asleep. There were 3 heated rooms with different temperatures and 1 ice room. The rooms were nice and Ican feel all the toxins sweating out of my body. If you want to order beverages, there is a kiosk in the corner to order from. However, you will need to go back outside to pick up your beverage - they do not deliver into the main room. We did not know this and sat there waiting forever! Unfortunately we had already had a meal prior to coming and did not have the appetite to try the food that is offered here - side note, the restaurant is not attached to the sauna and is to the right upon entry. You will have to go back outside in your spa clothes or after your visit if you want to eat. Food is not allowed inside. All in all, we had a great time and would definitely revisit when we are in the area. read more

Today was my first Korean spa experience and I will definitely be coming back! The 4 star is really just because I wished someone would give us a tour or give us a crash course in the do's and dont's since it was our first time. In terms of service and cleanliness, this place is a 5 out of 5 star. It's a brand new spa in Buena Park, the heart of OC's Korea Town. So here's the crash course for those who never been to a Korean spa.... $30 for admission for the pools, the 4 co-Ed sauna rooms and the showers. Extras for services like body scrubs and massage. They give you a key with a number, small locker for your shoes, bigger locker for belongings. They also give you a uniform of pink shorts and tshirt for the women. Before going into the pools, you must shower and be completely naked to go into the pools and saunas. There are 3 small pools: warm, hot and cold. One dry sauna, one steam sauna. The co-ed room has 4 dry sauna rooms: forest, ice, salt and red clay (heated by clay, there is no clay for you to put on yourself like Glen Ivy). When you're done you can shower at the sitting or standing showers. I've seen people bring their own loofas and skincare and I'll be doing the same the next time I'm here in addition to the full body scrub everyone raves about. We got hungry midway so we slipped into the provided slippers to go to the adjoining restaurant. The food was BOMB.com. I got the Galbi bibimpap in the stone pot, 10 out of 10 for flavor. I think the Korean spa experience would be best with girlfriends than with husband/boyfriend or someone of the opposite sex bc the majority of the services is separated by gender. read more

I thought the place was great mostly. Lots of different rooms and hot tub to choose from. The facility was clean. My only gripe was that the restaurant only has $$$ large family style dishes. There's almost nothing you can get that are for one person. So if u come by yourself, you are stuck paying a lot for a dish u can't finish. Or if u came with a group, you all need to eat the same thing and u may not all agree what u want to eat. Why not make smaller, less expensive options so each person can decide their own lunch? I went here on a weeknight at around 8:30 pm. I knew I didn't have a lot of time to check everything out, but I was so curious I went anyway. After paying at the front desk, you get a uniform and toothbrush before you enter the gender-specific locker/bathroom area. I asked for size small, and the front desk staff kindly accommodated my request. There are slippers by the shoe lockers in case you need them (I went around barefoot), and the shoe horn there is a nice touch. The locker area is spacious, and the lockers are big enough to store all your clothes and stuff. The size small uniform fit perfectly for me. There is a vanity area with basic amenities like hair dryers, cotton buds, lotion, etc. The pool area is spacious and clean. Lots of standing and sitting shower stalls with toiletries. The hot, warm, and cold tubs are huge. There weren't many people when I went since it was late, but each should fit at least 10 people comfortably. The hot tub was really hot, though. I saw someone else was super red that I was honestly worried I would get burned or was being cooked slowly... Maybe because the hot tub was almost scalding, but the cold tub was nice and I could stay there for a long time, unlike the cold tubs at some other spas where I felt sharp tingly pain from being numb. After the cold tub, the hot tub became more bearable, especially after my third round. There are also a steam room, dry sauna room, and a cold shower area between the two rooms in the pool area. The steam room and sauna room are spacious as well. By the time I was done with the pool area and got to the co-ed common area, it was almost 9:20 pm. I saw a sign by the door that the common area was closed at 9:30 pm. I blitzed through the salt room, clay room, forest room, and ice room. I'll have to come back to enjoy the rooms properly, but first impression, I like that the salt and clay rooms are dimly lit. There are plenty of small pillows to rest your head in the sauna rooms. The forest room is brighter and not hot, especially after the salt and clay rooms, but I can smell the wood. It smells like new furniture. The ice room is a nice, cool temperature. I overstayed a few minutes after 9:30, but the staff was really nice and did not rush me or kicked me out. Honestly I still prefer I spa and Wi Spa because they have bulgama (the fire sauna room), but I would come back since it's close, the facilities are clean, and the price is fair. read more

I've been to several of these and this one is right up there as one of the best. The fact that it's new helps in being as clean as it is. It's very modern and sleek with minimal decor since it isn't needed. There's a cafe in the lobby and it has a kiosk in the coed area you can order from, but you have to go get it in the lobby. What's cool is there are sandals in the lobby that you can use to go get your order. The coed area is a simple big room with a projection of a landscape, and soft music playing. Here you will find the different themed saunas which are in my pictures. The gender separate room, is long and narrow for the guys. You got your lockers and lounge, your vanity area and bathrooms. Then as you go into the wet area, it's showers, seated showers, steam room, sauna, warm/hot/cold jacuzzis and then the body scrub area. At only $30 for entrance it's a great deal to spend a few hours for ME time and relaxation. The only negative during my visit was this young guy that kept walking back and forth in the wet area wearing clothes and with a cell phone, both of which are prohibited in that area. "Perfect Days" First time coming to K Spa since Beach Spa closed. I watched a movie on Apple TV called "Perfect Days" and the movie had several Sentou (Public Bath) scene, which I used to frequent when I grew up in Japan. So today, I decided to have my own Perfect Day by shopping for Cassete Tapes at Orange Circle vintage shops and came to K Spa to wrap my day up. Today was my treat-yo-self day so I got myself 90minutes Combination Massage package. Bit pricey side but it included admission fee so make sense. Sunny was my massage therapist and she was amazing! Definitely took away all the knots I had in my body and her pressure was consistent from beginning to the end. Only had cash enough for 25% tips but would have given more if I had more cash on me. Highly recommend Sunny. Like someone mentioned earlier in Yelp, I also do kind of miss traditional atmosphere of Beach Spa, but the new facility is clean and much spacious. Unlike Beach Spa, you cannot pay with key number at the restaurant so make sure you have Apple pay or some payment form with you when you order food. I haven't been to a Korean Spa in such a long time, and I heard that K Spa had recently opened with its renovations. K Spa is super clean and really cute! It does lean on the smaller side of Korean Spas that I've been to, but it's still really nice. General admission for the showers and common area is $30. I got the scrub massage for about $115 (admission was included). Their restaurant is outside of the common area (it's next to where you can purchase your admission and any add-ons like massages and such). You can bring in some of your food items. There is a little kiosk in the common area that you can order drinks from, but you do have to go pick it up from the restaurant. Their common area has 4 rooms total, and a general heated floor area for naps and/or lounging. My biggest problem is that they don't have water dispensers available in the common area. The only water dispenser I saw was in the shower area for the women (I imagine it is something similar with the men's area as well). Otherwise, K spa was really enjoyable and very nice and relaxing! I have been to almost every Korean spa from SD to Ktown. This one is great! Their jacuzzis are huge and strong. They have a crystal room, ice room, forest room and clay room (but not with the balls). The massage scrub was on point. The atmosphere is beautiful... much better than most places around here. The only downfall is the place was packed. I have never been to a Korean spa before but my first experience here was amazing! The ladies are super friendly. I made an appointment for my friends and I for the scrub and massage. You will get a call the morning of to remind you of your appointment. I totally recommend the scrub and massage! Min was my scrubber/masseuse and she was great. We had lunch at Damee. I didn't know they had raw marinated crab so the first time I came, I didn't order it. I ended up coming back a 3 days later with a different group of friends. I ordered the cold noodle galbi combo which tasted so good. All the food including the side dishes were amazing!! We went to relax in the common area before ordering the red bean and fruit shaved ice and calling it a day. The shaved ice was so refreshing and not too sweet. Parking lot had many parking spaces, but some are a tight fit. Admission fee was $30. They have free Wi-Fi. After you pay the entrance, they'll give you clothes and the key to the lockers. Put your shoes away in the shoe locker, put all your items and clothes in the big locker, and shower before you go use the facilities. There's shampoo and conditioner in the shower rooms. They also provide toothbrush and toothpaste if you need it. There's a dry sauna, wet sauna, cold pool, warm pool, and hot pool. There's a place where you can relax and watch TV in the separated gender area. In the common area, there's a clay room, ice room, forest room, and salt room. My only complaints are: -food service feels very impersonal, but it's still there, and lots of options -I wish there was logs to Snoopy on (and portable mats) -a drinking fountain or bathroom in the dry area would've been more convenient, but not a big deal -the layout feels like a maze, but it just means they're clever with maximizing each foot. Grand opening and everything is brand spanking new! The bath area is spacious and I love the shower heads that gives high pressure and the shower area is super clean! They offer unlimited towels and cold water. It's nice to soak in the medium hot jacuzzi pool and enter the hot steam room to release all the toxins. The clay room was simple and did the job. Nothing fancy about this place other than how it's super new! I paid for the full body scrub and massage which was nice to get and worth every penny. It was my first time, and I went with a female friend. Firstly, if you want to go into the hot tubs/scrub massages, you need to be mentally ready to be butt ass naked. I felt very American about being shy of nudity, and it took some serious gumption to get past it. Remind yourself that other cultures are much more normal about nudity, and it's your religious/American upbringing that is making you feel nervous. I was not mentally ready to see my friend naked, and to let non-intimate partners see all my bits. But after about 5-10 minutes of being around a bunch of naked women of various ages and shapes, you get over it. You can be brave. I kinda wish they had more information for first-timers, like recommendations. We checked in at the front desk at 11:30am for our 12p scrub massage appointments, since they recommended arriving 30 minutes early. I thought it was to fill out paperwork, but it was ...not? When we got there, they told us our appts were for 12:20pm and 12:30pm, so I'm not really clear on why we needed to make appointments in advance. They handed us a locker key on a bracelet, and a set of clothes to change into, then pointed us in the women's area. No further instructions, no tour of the facilities, nothing. So the first area you enter, you take off your shoes and put it in the small locker, then go barefoot everywhere else. Past the shoe locker, are bigger taller lockers. There you can stash your regular clothes, bags, etc. Most people just strip naked there, but I didn't because I didn't understand which areas were naked and which were for the provided clothing... Past the lockers were some "get-ready" areas with mirrors, blow dryers, lotion, q-tips, etc, and a specific area for bathrooms. I will say, it was very unnerving to use the public restroom while barefoot, but it was very clean. Then go past a set of double doors, and immediately to your left/right are open shower stalls. Everyone has to take a shower before they can enter any of the pools, which makes me feel better. If I think about it too hard, I start wondering how thorough everyone is cleansing themselves, and that's not a relaxing thought. After the initial shower, I went to the "warm" tub. Nice, great temp. I wasn't wearing my watch and didn't bring my phone, so I have no real concept of how long I spent in there. Then switched to the "hot" tub, and that was ... close to unbearably hot. I shower in boiling water, so I'm surprised how hot the HOT was. The signage did not tell you (in English) the temp or recommended time to spend in it, so I was just winging it. After the hot tub, I switched to the cold pool and that was a shock to the system. Cold is indeed, quite cold. I don't know what I was expecting. After adjusting the cold water, it felt like I had swallowed a breath mint. I can't really explain the sensation, but it was a very cooling minty feeling in my chest and throat (in a good way) and I really liked it! There's only one clock in the area, so I had to keep time and make sure I knew when my massage was coming up. I did a quick visit to the steam room (super nice), and dry sauna (also nice, but not my thing), then another rinse before my scrub massage. The massage table is covered in a plastic vinyl type of sheet and can be slippery. First the lady poured warm water on me and got to work. It felt like she gave every crevice a scrub at least 3x. I took a peek under my face towel and the piles of dead skin were so gross. Like a big pile of eraser dust from elementary school. After 3ish THOROUGH scrubs from neck to toes, she rinsed me off with warm water, followed by the oil massage. At one point, she put fresh cool cucumber on my face, which was when I realized that she grated that cucumber next to me a minute ago. Talk about FRESH! She handed me some face wash and told me to wash my face, then rinse it off in the showers, then come back. I might be mixing up the order of things, but I thought it was worth mentioning because I had no idea what to expect. At the very end of the massage, she had me rinse my face with something milky, then water, then I was done. Honestly the massage and everything was so nice, I was ready to dry off and get dressed and go home. Instead, I blowdried my hair and put on the pink clothes. I still hadn't explored the Forest/Salt/Clay/Ice rooms, so I wanted to check that out. The Forest room was nice, slightly warmed. Then I went to the Salt room, which was very warm and got me sweaty. I did the ice room last, which was another favorite. If I had known, I would've done everything else (hot/sweaty activities) first, massage last. Overall, impeccably clean and not too crowded in the morning. It got busier mid-day, and now I understand that it's best to do it later in the day so you can just go home and chill instead of feeling super chilled out and have to go run errands. 5/5, would do again in a different order. The facility is nice and new, and Vivian did a great acupressure treatment. I'm hesitant to give five stars because it was my first time and the front desk really didn't give any instructions. I had to come back out to ask where to wait for the treatment, why there were two sets of lockers, and figure out where everything was. And like others said, there should be more water dispensers, including in the common area. If you want to order food from the kiosk or the restaurant, make sure you have a card or your phone with Apple Pay with you. Visit was still amazing but on the weekends, it gets very packed and there are kids there who are very loud, noisy and are bored. the parents don't say or do anything. It becomes annoying because you're there to relax, but you can't really start putting parents accountable. Went during a Saturday from morning till afternoon. The staff was friendly and helpful. The locker area was pretty clean and had all the amenities as other kspas. The wet area is clean, and big! Though on a personal note I like steam rooms with a bit less of water dripping on you from the ceiling. Love the heated floors in the coed area, though kinda gets super hot in areas where the heat comes directly out of. Took a fat nap and was so refreshed. Went to the restaurant for some food and it was really good! Portion size was decent at an okay price. Overall, amazing kspa. Would highly recommend for both the spa and the food! read more
