We went to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and had an incredible time! The staff member who helped us from the beginning was very kind and attentive to everyone in our birthday group. Amazing place to go with friends definitely a fun and memorable experience!

It was my first time visiting this location -- I usually go to the Ontario one. This location is much smaller, and the wait was pretty long, but overall it was a good experience. We had a good time, the prices were decent, the track was clean, and the cars were in good condition. I'd recommend it for a fun time if you're in the area.

    see you on the track!

i was very fortunate to visit k1 speed on my company's dime :) we had a team building event at this location and we thoroughly enjoyed the racing and the food. we had the buffalo wings, barbecue wings, beef brisket slides and cheeseburger sliders. all of the food was delicious but the wait time was quite long. the racing activity was soooooo fun, we were all very competitive and loved comparing race times. i would love to have a party here, but be warned, the food will take a while. i quite liked the service. i was saying please and thank you to the staff, and one staff member said it had been maybe two weeks since they were last told please. cmon people!! these staff members work hard to ensure a safe and fun activity, the least we can do is have manners. all in all, i would recommend k1 speed.

Connor told me they had a promotion and said it to me after they made me pay and didn't give me the discount, CONNOR IS RUDE!!

I had never ever been to a K-1 Speed before. It was my friend's birthday and she had a party there. We went to the K-1 located in Burbank. The place was easy to find , kind if in an industrial area. The parking was not ample and the spots were very tight, but it was no biggie . There was alot of street parking but I didn't read the signs so I am not street if it was okay to park out front. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by staff. They had us come over to the counter and they checked us all in. We had already filled our waivers out online to the check in process was pretty quick. They were extremely thorough when going over the rules of how the cars worked and what behavior was expected from everyone. They put us in groups and we were in our way. At first I was afraid to go fast for fear of topping over but once I got the hang of it , I was on my way and I never looked back They have a pretty cool arcade with alot of old school games It's a bit pricey but hey you only live once I had a blast and I hope to go back soon with a bunch of friends Go check it out !!! I'm only giving 4 stars because of the lack of parking Everything else was a definite 5 stars Oh and the food was delicious!!!!

I was invited for someone's birthday party, and I had a blast! We arrived, signed waivers, were given masks, and hung around watching other races until it was our turn. We did 3 races. It was so much FUN! I had no idea they'd go that fast ( I actually thought we were doing bumper cars LOL, not actual go karts!) With each race, we received analytics on who was fastest, but not just for the whole race, but also who had the fastest lap that round. It was pretty cool! At the end, our top 3 racers were given trophies and got to stand on a podium for pictures. This was cute. I am already ready to go back. Totally recommend for anyone looking for some active fun at a good price!

My daughter had read all the user blogs for here in advance and had their app yet there was changing information with the time the gates opened. That being said we waited 90 minutes at front gate then about 20 at the 2nd entry. We started where the line was shortest (35 min wait) at Nintendo World. Next up was Harry Potter- the kids had a blast on the ride yet I was green after the jerking & jolting. For me, the Universal Studios tour was the highlight of the day. Being a vegetarian I wasn't sure what kind of food I'd find. Very limited options but did have a veggie burger from Krusty's that was pretty good. Two areas for improvement: Water refill stations please!!! We were told we could refill in the bathroom....yuck. Also would love to see a few more seating options with shade. This was my first time visiting the Harry Potter world, Super Mario world, and the updated Jurassic Park (now Jurassic World) ride. I love the Mummy ride and the studio tour- those will always be my favorites! The staff are very friendly and helpful, which I was grateful for. Glad that we were also able to bring in our own drinks and food. Unfortunately, I was sad to see how most of the vibes seem to be VR and/or sceen-related. Now that I'm older, the VR/4-D stuff made me nauseous and hurt my head, especially the Harry Potter Forbidden Journey, Mario Kart, Jurassic World, & Transformers ride. As soon we put on the glasses for Transformers, my spouse and I immediatley took off the glasses. It also was disappointing how the Hippogriff ride was so short compared to the wait time. I think part of the "magic" and charm of the rides were the animatronics and the realism of everything. Hence, the Mummy ride is my favorite cause no screens or glasses are involved. The Jurassic World ride was also great because of the animatronic dinosaurs, but I could defeinitely do without the Mosesaurus part of the ride as there's no realism to it. The animatronics on the Forbidden Journey ride were really cool, but once the screens came on, I felt dizzy and got a headache. I loved seeing actors dressed in iconic movie and TV show characters walking out, made the experience more fun. I think this is part of the "realism" aspect that makes amusement parks like Disneyland fun. It was also kinda dirty and smelled like sewage in certain places of the park which was off-putting, like when waiting in line for the Mummy and the Harry Potter rides. I almost walked out of the Kung Fu Panda ride because of the high-impact motions of the moving chairs really hurting my back and neck. The movements of that ride was mostly blunt impacts on hard surface you see on the screen (hitting wooden beams, the ground, rocks, etc.) , and it was painful so I ended up sitting on the edge of the chair to not feel anymore of it. Definitely the worst thing out of the whole park. A bonus perk is because Universal Hollywood isn't as large as Disneyland, we were able to do all the rides and leave the park by 4pm (we got there right at opening).

It was not too crowded, and there is a lot of parking on both the left and right side of the zoo, which made it easy. Before entering, there are many vendors selling food, hats, accessories, and children's toys. Children under 2 are free, ages 2 to 12 were $22, and adults were $27. I believe there is also a senior price, possibly around $24. We were able to go through the entire zoo in about 4 hours, and the kids spent some time at the playground, which was new to me since I had not been here in a few years. If you are going without children or with older kids, you could probably get through it faster. Some animals had been relocated to another zoo, and the elephants were not there, which was a bit of a bummer. We were told animals get put away about an hour before closing. I am not sure if that applies to all of them, since we still saw some animals out around closing time. We were able to bring in our own snacks and drinks, which was nice. They do have a few spots that sell food, drinks, ice cream, and other snacks, but they were a bit expensive for me. We did end up getting churros and shared them since they were really long and more than enough for my kids. Overall, it was a fun visit.

If your kid is a train lover, this is a great FREE place to visit. I still can't believe it was free lol. There's a play place for kids inside the museum, but you have to provide your own train toy for the tracks there. There's a gift shop near the museum where you can buy those. We bought our son one of those that you pull backwards, then it goes fast in forward motion on its own. Totally worth the $12 price tag because he hasn't put it down since, and even sleeps with it lol. You can't get into any of the trains, BUT there is a black one under the awning where many of them are that you CAN go up into. The kids were obsessed. There's plenty of space on the property to setup a picnic for the day that doesn't involve having to rent one of the covered spots. We were there for 3-4 hours walking around the grounds with the kids - a huge group of 3-7 year olds - and none of them got bored.

The ride is a brisk 12 minutes or so and takes you around travel town with two laps across that time. The whole breadth of travel town is available to be seen, including the many steam engines, miniatures, gift shop, and more. The train you ride itself is comfortable, covered, clean and well maintained. They make an excellent ride for a family. Our kids loved it! As with Travel town's sister railroad on the other side of the park, I recommend sitting near the back of the train to avoid the exhaust smell. The staff are very friendly and clearly love their jobs - I don't blame them! The rest of travel town is otherwise quite limited. Aside from a large number of locomotives, and nice areas for picnic, the museum and other sites are fairly limited. You come to travel town to see the big locomotives and ride the miniature train - that's about it. A playground would go a long way! Thankfully, admission is free and parking is plentiful. You need not budget more than two hours for your visit unless you are a true train aficionado. Nonetheless, Travel Town is an excellent, worthwhile stop for families and especially those with children 8 and under.

After living in LA for just under two years my wife and I figured it was about time we actually checked this place out. We came here with all three of our dogs on a Sunday morning and it was a really cool experience. When you arrive to Griffith Park all you really have to do is follow the signs and it'll lead you right to a small parking lot, usually also loaded with man-made signs for kids birthday parties and such. Once you park, you have to follow a trail and walk up a slight hill for like two minutes before you are suddenly staring at some old enclosures and such. These enclosures are fully open, meaning you can walk right up to them, inside of them, and check them out yourself. If you follow the path a little more you are able to go up a hill and explore behind the bigger exhibits (which I was unable to do this day thanks to some recent lung issues). I have no idea how big the actual old zoo area is, but the area we saw was really freaking cool and definitely has me itching to come back when I'm 100% in order to see everything. Overall, The Old Zoo is cool chance to go back in time for free and experience old some Los Angeles. The park is free, parking is free, and guess what? Checking out the old zoo is free too. The attention to detail throughout the entire area is incredible, from the architecture and music to the little interactive elements hidden throughout the land. Even if you're not a huge Harry Potter fan, it's still an experience worth visiting because the atmosphere alone is so immersive. One of the best parts was how well the staff stayed in character and interacted with guests. Team members were friendly, helpful, and did a great job managing the crowds, especially around the more popular attractions and shops. Even when the area became busy, employees kept lines organized and answered questions without seeming rushed. The rides were definitely the highlight. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey was one of the most impressive theme park rides I've experienced. The wait time can get long very quickly, especially in the afternoon, so I highly recommend going early in the day if possible. Universal's app was helpful for checking ride times throughout the day. Flight of the Hippogriff had a shorter wait but was still fun, especially for families or anyone wanting a lighter ride experience. Food and drinks are expensive, but honestly the themed snacks and Butterbeer are part of the experience. Butterbeer is a must-try at least once. The frozen version was my favorite, especially in the California heat. Seating around the food areas fills up fast during peak hours, so timing your meals earlier or later than normal lunch times can help avoid crowds. The shops inside Hogsmeade were extremely detailed, but they do get packed. Ollivanders was one of the busiest areas during my visit, and there was a wait to get inside. If you want an interactive wand experience, be prepared for the wands to be pricey, but the interactive spell locations throughout the land make it more fun and worth it for fans. One thing visitors should know is that this area gets crowded very quickly, especially midday and during weekends or holidays. Taking photos can sometimes require patience because there are constantly people walking through the main pathways. Early mornings and evenings seemed to be the best times for photos and shorter lines. Overall, this was one of the most immersive themed areas I've visited at any park.
