    Track

This place is so fun and my kids love it. Staff are always incredibly helpful and nice. I especially appreciate how the people working the track ensure safety and rules are respected. We were a bit disappointed because I had received an email that it was drift night, but when we arrived it had actually been the night before. Marketing really needs to have accurate messaging going out. I double checked the email to see if I'd read it right and it indeed had the wrong night listed. Kids were super bummed, but decided to go out and drive and still had a great time. The track was a tad slippery still from drift night so they actually had a few tiny drift moments. They have food and drinks available for reasonable prices. Mostly pub type food, as well as snacks and candy. Lots of nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages available. There's a pool table and other games in an arcade area. Plenty of seating options. I love that electric carts are available, as I don't miss having to breathe in fumes with the former gas carts. Yay for technology! Plenty of parking out front. You can register to play online before you arrive or at the door.

This has become one of our favorite spots to take the kids! We show up right at opening on a weekday means we usually have the entire track to ourselves. My two kids love racing each other lap after lap, and the staff are always friendly and helpful getting them set up. It's a great mix of fun and a little friendly competition. If you want to avoid crowds and long waits, opening time on weekdays is the way to go!

Great place for a birthday party! My son celebrated his 18th birthday at K1 with a group of boys and everyone had fun. Booking was simple and their group was taken care of. I booked the two race package and the boys liked seeing the stats from each race on the printout. Their group was the only one racing on the track and it was run smoothly and safely.

I highly recommend this place when you get a chance to get together with friends and family staff here is welcoming. Environment is friendly. Try it out for yourself.

Credit card authorization form to reserve the race date for large party. Offer to pay Cash- was told "No cash option" when asked

I had email conversation with Denlison from Corp group sales located in Irvin about booking a group session. She sent me a form with a notation on bottom of form "3.45% processing fee will apply for all non-cash payment". I responded back to see if I can pay with another form of payment without charges such as Cash, Zelle, check, venmo. answer was "no other form of payment was accepted". I responded to email to let Denlison know California businesses cannot legally charge a credit card convenience fee if they don't offer an alternative payment method. Since California's Senate Bill 478 took effect on July 1, 2024, it is illegal for businesses to apply surcharges or convenience fees. I sent the email to them over a week ago and I still didn't get a response. Their response so far is to ignore the email. I will take my business elsewhere. Considering to report them given that they do not follow legal business practices.

We had a great time here! We booked as a group and got to race three times. The place itself was very clean and immersive--all the decor is racing related and you can have an easy view of the track. Our stats were printed and given to each of us promptly after each race! There is a super cute ceremony setup where you get to stand on a platform for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. They give you pretty solid painted trophies as well. We had food as part of our party and it was pretty good as well. Overall we were very pleased with our experience! We had never been anywhere quite like this, so it was a fun new experience for us all.

First time here let me tell you it was so much fun $52 per person per ride which is like 7 laps Worth it. We had to wait 1 hour for the next availability. They have food and arcades . I will definitely return again. Good times with my family

I took my son and his friend here a few weeks ago on a Friday early evening. We were so lucky as hardly anyone was there yet and the blue lights had just turned on! I bought the 5 laps package and the kids had a great time racing around. Meanwhile, my friend and I had a drink and played Jenga while waiting. This place is clean and if I lived near it, I would go often. It looks great for parties and company events. There's not a ton for teens to do in the area besides shop so this is a fun activity when you want to be inside. Highly recommend it for older teens and adults. I think younger kids would be an exception as it's a shorter activity and there's a skill level needed to have fun. I'm pointing that out only because when my kids were younger and attended a party, it was confusing for them and now I see why, but only because they are now older. Just keep expectations in mind when taking younger people there.

Fun place. Expect waiting because a lot of people go here. Not sure if the kitchen was open when I was there but just eat before going.

How fast do the kids go karts go and will they be racing against adults? Wondering if this would be fun or scary for four 8 year olds (they are all tall enough) who have never driven go karts before.

Hi Julia, the kids karts max out around 20 m.p.h. and the kids have separate races from adults for safety since our adult karts go much faster. Indoor karting at K1 is a perfect introduction to go karts for kids. Looking forward to seeing the group…

My son is 7 years old and 50 Inches. Would he be able to race alone or would he have to sit with an adult?

Hello, Bhavna! All of our karts are single-seaters, so adults can't drive with children in the same kart. However, based on your son's height, he should be able to race our Junior Karts, which requires a minimum height of 48". See you at the track!

Hi, my friend is 17 and I am 18. Can I sign the waiver for her? Thank you!

I don't think you can, you can go online and try registering

Can I only come in a group and not individually?

Hello, Bhavna! You can come both individually and in a group - up to you! See you at the track!

My daughter wants to go with her 12 year old friends do they need an adult to go with them?

Hello Kamryn! Yes, we'll need at least one adult to be with them, especially since waivers will need to be signed by a parent/guardian. Hope we'll see you all soon!

What is the height range for the go karts in inches?

Hello! We have a minimum height requirement of 48" for the Junior Karts, and 58" for our Adult Karts. See you at the track!

Are the go kart seats adjustable for taller/bigger sizes?

Hello, Ashley! The seats are not adjustable to make them larger (we have booster seats for smaller drivers), but we've had many NFL players drive our karts before. Also one of our employees here is 6'2" and over 235lbs and he fits in the kart just…

    How long is one race?

Hello, Me'Leah! Each race is 12 laps and usually takes between 6-8 minutes to finish. See you at the track!

Is there a way to make a reservation for a party less than 8? To arrive as a walk in is incredibly frustrating .

We want to bring our 16-year-old and his friends. Are the waivers available online so parents can sign them and kids can bring the signed waivers with them? If yes, the link…

Apologies for the delay in our answer, Aimee! We do not have any waivers available online, but they are available in our centers. The parent or guardian that attends with the minors may sign them on behalf of other parents.

Can I drive with my son 27 years old suffer of autism today is his birthday he loves to drives I want to make him a surprise?

Hello Nicole! That's great! Yes, we work our hardest to accommodate anyone with autism. We would love to have you reach out to us at (925) 230-9502 to discuss specifics…

    Are GoPro cameras allowed?

Hello Jose. We don't allow GoPros unfortunately, but we do offer our own camera rentals for only $5/race. See you at the track!

Hello, will you be open July 5th, or will you be off to observe July 4th? Thank you

We're sorry for the delay in our response, Christopher. We're open every day of the year except Thanksgiving. Thanks!

What if my group is more than 8 riders? Would I have to make a reservation?

Hey Christian! Sorry for the delay. You don't have to make a reservation (by booking an event) but that is strongly recommended. Hope we see you all soon!

Hello is anyone there? We're trying to get a hold of K-1 racing. They do not pick up the phone they do not return calls. Now their voicemail today the voicemail is a busy signal. Are you there K-1 hello are you there?

We are here, Ken! I'm so sorry it's been tricky to get a hold of us. Our demand has increased and we're trying to find the work staff to handle the volume. In the meantime, feel free to ask questions on here and we'll try to respond ASAP. Thank you!

What's the approximate wait time for arrive/drive now after covid? And do kids race with adults?

Hello Linda! Our wait time can vary quite a bit depending on day of week and time of day. Simply call our center beforehand and we'll be happy to provide you with a wait estimate.…

Are there any kind of arcade games here?

Hello Erin! There are! We have the latest Halo arcade game, an awesome racing arcade game, and a punching bag game. Plus, two claw machines, a pool table, and an air-hockey…

What is the average wait time for Arrive and Drive?

On a weekend I would say 45 to 90 minutes depending on if there are any big parties there. We waited 45 min at 11am.

You're going to a place that races go carts and you're not wearing shoes? 45mph. Are you slow?

It's an odd question. No shirt, no shoes, no service!

But it seems this policy only applies to certain individuals and dare I say possibly only to individuals with a certain skin color. The photo they use as an example of acceptable vs. unacceptable hair length shows a picture of a girl with her hair below her waist. My sister's hair was right above her waist and they denied her the ability to ride the go-carts. She had even arrived to Funworks with her hair in a bun. They made her remove it so check the length. Which like I mentioned before wasn't below her waist This policy seems highly unfair and very discriminating. And to make matters worse, the go-carts are prob the slowest go-carts in the nation. All the fuss about their strict policy to then be disappointed with the 2 mph go-carts. Save yourself the headache, embarrassment (if you have long hair), and money. Go to Boomers instead!

Unfortunately we only had 7 so we couldn't do the 8 person reservation. I called to get info about wait times (I understand that they can't give me an exact estimate so I told them give me worse case scenario) and I was advised that the group of 7 could have some long wait times so we opted to just come up with 3 of us. Upon arrival, place was dead other than 2-3 staff members within sight. We asked the individual behind the counter some basic questions being first timers at that location, we ended up purchasing 2 races and we received 1 for free because it was Tuesday and that was just a deal they had. After they took our money they said "well it could be about 30 minutes until you all race" which we responded saying that it's totally fine we will hangout thank you. Well since we had 30 minutes to kill why not buy some arcade credits and mess around (very mediocre arcade at best). After we purchased arcade credits, about 15 minutes went buy another employee came up to us to let us know that if we wanted to race we would have to wait till about 4:45-5pm because a group rented out the facility and there's just nothing they can do. Keep in mind when we purchased our races, 2:23pm to be exact, we got told 30 minutes. Somehow between multiple phone calls to confirm before the long drive and the day of upon arrival purchasing our races not a single individual let us know about this possible booking. ALSO no we did not show up before this group event, they were already there. Which in their defense the employee giving us a refund said "well we are not allowed to tell people about bookings". Great totally understandable I run a business my self and I understand private information etc. however the lying of race times, letting us wait for a bit and following up with "if you don't take the refund we will give you 2 extra races" well thanks but I find it hard to believe we got the full reasoning behind the situation... also to add more context, no we weren't those customers causing issues, being overly loud, or causing any sort of issues. Civilized beings and in return got a pretty S*** end of the stick. K1 speed its self is great but this location is ran by some individuals that have zero interest in making the experience rememberable. K1s slogan "Arrive and Drive" they have printed on their business cards left out crucial information. Arrive and drive past. Keep your money and spend it with a business that will give you the proper attention. Not asking to be treated like royalty. Just some common decency.

One gripe I have is that I wish the workers were a bit more attentive. We went on Monday and there wasn't anyone at the front desk for maybe 10minutes. They didn't have us watch the safety/instructional video which normally plays on a loop at the front of the pit gate. We had two double karts because our kids are young and we were put in a race with multiple other adults. The employees in the pit were good, one was a young lady who seemed new and a young man who obviously had much more experience. I'm on the shorter side and he recognized I needed the pedals adjusted and a booster seat. He also rechecked all our belts because the girl didn't put them on tight enough. So during our race we had to go slowly for the first lap, but then it was on! Unfortunately, I had to go slow because my daughter is small and apprehensive about the whole experience. I'm sure we were a hindrance for the faster racers, but most were very respectful and drove around us. One person in particular (an older black man who uses the name "007 Speed") hit me into the barrier 3 times and hit my husband and son's kart at least twice. He hit us with such force both of my kids have been complaining of neck pain. I told the experienced male employee but no consequences for Mr. 007 Speed even though each time he hit us they overhead announced, "No hitting other drivers or barriers. Next time you will be out of the race." When the race was done Mr. 007 Speed never acknowledged what he did or apologized. As we were leaving we saw him complaining at the front desk. So overall, I really like this place. It's geared for children and families, but definitely for anyone who wants to have fun. It would be ideal if they grouped drivers separately like they do for junior racers. Group adult racers with ones who have children/want a chill experience and a group for retirees trying to relive their glory days

I hosted my company team outing here for 18 people, and unfortunately, our experience was not…read moregreat. I originally wanted to leave a 1-star review, but I'm giving 2 stars because the assistant manager and kitchen manager were genuinely helpful and tried to make things better. Before our outing, my manager spoke with whoever handles bookings multiple times to confirm our reservation. The package we were told was $50 per person for 3 races, 4 pizzas, and space for our team, totaling $1,084 for 18 people. Each time, my manager confirmed that it included 3 races, and we were told they were having issues booking it correctly in the system but would fix it when we arrived. When I pulled up, I noticed most of the staff outside. Maybe it was a break or a slow day, but when I walked in, no one was at the register. I walked around until I found someone to help me, who I believe was the kitchen manager. She was awesome and connected me with the manager, who was outside. The manager, who I believe was Jordan, checked my party in and confirmed that we were getting 3 races for $50 per person. At that point, everything seemed fine. Unfortunately, 4 of my team members could not make it, and we were told they could not refund the $200. The assistant manager was great and gave us credit instead for food and game cards, which we appreciated. She handled that situation with great customer service. Where the experience went sideways was when we were waiting for our third race. The manager then told us he did not make the change and that we would need to pay an additional $20 per person for the third race. I was confused because we were told multiple times before the event, and again when we checked in, that the package included 3 races for $50 per person. At that point, my team was expecting 3 races. We had paid for 18 people, 14 showed up, and the 4 no-shows were credited toward food and game cards. I also noticed they had a Thursday special for $20 per race, so I asked if they could at least price match and refund $10 per person for the 14 people since we were not getting the third race. That would have been $140. The manager said party packages do not work that way. But from a customer standpoint, it felt like we would have been better off just paying individually and buying the pizzas ourselves instead of spending over $1,000 on a package that was not honored the way it was explained to us. As a business owner myself, I was honestly shocked by the lack of accountability and hospitality from the manager. I even told my management team that this was a perfect example of what not to do in our own business. My business partner was also upset and went to speak with the manager. He asked if the owner could be contacted so they could discuss the situation owner to owner. Unfortunately, the situation got worse. The manager got into a loud verbal argument with my business partner in front of customers and kids. That part was completely unacceptable. Instead of trying to de-escalate, make things right, or at least show some level of hospitality, the manager became confrontational. To the owner of this establishment, I hope you take this feedback seriously. The assistant manager deserves recognition because she handled herself professionally and showed real hospitality. She either has hospitality experience or it comes naturally to her, but either way, it should not go unnoticed. Business owner to business owner, the assistant manager was the bright spot in this experience. The manager, on the other hand, did not take accountability for what we were told during booking or what he confirmed when we checked in. I'm more than happy to update this review if the owner replies and makes this right.

Happy Hollow Park & Zoo is a great family adventure park with toddler rides and a small zoo. I…read morevisited when I was a child and when I had kids we purchased memberships. Now, during specific months during the year, they host senior safari where seniors can visit for free and participate in organized activities and visit sponsors for literature and their goodies. I have been attending the safaris for a while and was disappointed this past month. I do appreciate the opportunity for a free visit but would like to see different sponsors and maybe have them stay a bit longer. For the safari this past month I arrived at 9:20 (20 mins after opening) and half of the sponsors were packing up because they ran out of freebies and literature. The biggest disappointment was Danny the dragon along with the carrousel were non-op. Regardless, the main purpose of senior safari is encourage movement and 10,000 steps. I am looking forward to the cooler months to enjoy my walk in the park soaking up the fall weather and sights.

We celebrated my son's 3rd birthday at Happy Hollow Park & Zoo, and it was absolutely amazing! I…read moretruly have no complaints about the experience. The entire birthday party process was seamless from beginning to end. They provide a designated party area, you can order food directly through them, and their team brings everything out, sets things up, and handles the cleanup afterward. As a parent hosting a kids' birthday party, having so much taken care of for you makes a HUGE difference. I also felt the pricing was very reasonable for everything that was included. We added Danny the Dragon as our entertainment, and my son LOVED it! Danny interacted with the kids, played games with them, and made the celebration feel extra special. There was so much for the kids to do between the birthday activities, rides, playgrounds, and animals. My only regret was choosing the 1:30 PM party time instead of the earlier 10:30 AM option. If I could do it again, I would absolutely choose the morning time and make a full day of it. There is simply too much to see and do! Between enjoying the party itself, riding the rides, and seeing all of the animals, we ran out of time and didn't get to experience everything. We'll definitely be going back to finish what we missed! 100% recommend Happy Hollow for a child's birthday party. It was fun for the kids, easy for the adults, reasonably priced, and incredibly well organized. Such a wonderful place to celebrate a little one!
