So today was my daughters birthday and when I showed up today they guy at the door told me that they had no more races for the night I was kinda upset because I drove from 1hr away only to find that out. It's our 1st time here. Very bad customer service from the beginning. I booked a party and was told that I have to be 8 minimum kids. It was only the day off when they told me 12 kids max per race or I have to book additional for 13 kids. I had 13 :). I called a week ahead to order food and make sure they had the birthday party room booked, played phone tag 5 times and then could not talk to the manager, was on hold for 25 mins and got VM. On the day, no party room booked! Very less help. Food was not ready on time. What a waste! Will not recommend. Sorry. Disorganized and low staff. read more

Overpriced, underwhelming, waste of time. Poor service and long wait. Didn't seem crowded but it took 3 hours to do two races and they forgot to sign kids up for third race so we just left. Further, races were stopped so frequently that it was more like driving in traffic than racing. If you do decide to waste your money don't buy the food. i came here for my birthday and it was hella fun. when doing a walk in, you wait for about 1-2 hours. if you don't have patience, best to do a reservation. while waiting you can play pool, big jenga, bean bag toss, play in the arcade area (you have to use a card), use the massage chairs (sadly they charge you), chill on the sofas, or buy food. when it comes to the staff they seemed ok/chill. the prices are expensive but it's worth it. it's better to do a private race than public race (if you're bringing in a group of family members or friends). one more thing, if you're doing a public race be prepared to deal with some salty/pressed "grown" men/women who get hella booty hurt for losing. It a fun place, but I wasn't very pleased on how the workers were letting some people pick there kart. I ask to pick my own but they said they couldn't. I'm guessing that they knew what was the best kart to race in and giving it to the common costumer. Which is not right, I pay good money to race a good kart!. read more

Amazing! Took my son there for his 10th birthday and they are great there! They organized all the kids, made races very special and made the birthday party an amazing experience that my son's friends are still talking about - Ken is a great Manager and really goes over and above to make sure it went well - we even mentioned that we were going to Primos after and he brought all the kids K1 Speed tee shirts and delivered them... I bought my tickets online through the arrive and drive option, with the intention to do just that..."arrive and drive" as advertised. We drove over an hour, just to have my kids and I disappointed due to K1 speed prioritizing someone else's paid for good time over my paid for good time and expected us to wait over 5 hours until the next ride. Their money is no greener than mine. So I will be leaving reviews on every platform available advising people of the false advertising. If your going to allow people to come and "buy up all the time slots in a day" and then turn around and not allow a paying customer to reserve a time slot for another day, you need to let paying customers know what time slots are available prior to purchasing tickets and driving unnecessarily. We could have went and done something else that day and actually had fun rather than waisting a day of fun with my children to just drive 3 hours round trip. read more

The place is really cool and lots of fun; however, if you plan on stopping by to do Kids races, be prepared to wait. We showed up and there weren't many people there. We paid for 2 races for kids and adults and they didn't tell us anything about needing to wait. They ran several adult races and a couple of youth races in the 2 hours we were waiting, but never called our young racers' names. When we inquired about it, they said that they would never have been ready for our racers until 4:40 (about 2 hours after arriving) and tried to tell us they had told us that and didn't take our money. They didn't tell us and we had paid. By the end, they did credit us with races, but we will have to be sure to use those on a day we have nothing else planned since we won't know how long they will take! read more

Not even 1 star. This has been the worst experience we had. It was second time and nothing changed from the first, just got worse. Came in at 1 with staff promising rides at 1:30pm, didn't happen. Pay d for reservation at 4pm, came out n early, yet others were let in before us. Waited an hour, short after 5 finally kids got to ride. Staff couldn't start one car, so o e of our kids was stuck behind and couldn't start. He got total of 3 min on the track. Meanwhile observing, safety is their least priority. People go crazy on tracks, nobody cares, one car jumped on another, nobody cares, customers don't matter at all, alcohol levels must be checked prior. We saw few people drinking before entering, then cracking up when doing stupid things. Spend almost two hours there waiting for 10 min ride, one kid got 3. Trying to talk to staff is impossible, honestly nobody gives a shit. After each round while waiting we saw people hurt, asking for ice. Staff has it right there. Overall if you want to loose half a day, get pissed, escalate your anger, go ahead. Will never go back. Never. read more

Took family and friends here. Thought we would have a good time until after waiting 2 hours we were places in a group of racers that were very aggressive and the staff did nothing to enforce the no hitting rules. I can understand if people get hit a few times you are racing but there were 2 aggressive people in our race that were hitting every lap. Every lap was slowed down and there were more spinouts than I could track. The two people who were being aggressive and hitting people every lap were never spoken to. During the race and Even after the race people shared concerns ans nothing, why have rules of you weren't enforced. I had people in my group that didn't desire to race again for safety reasons. I wanted to try this place out to know if it was kid friendly but there is no way I would bring my own kids to a place that lets people do what took place with no change. I left early without using all my races as it wasn't a safe or fun environment. Unless you reserve a race where only your group is in it I wouldn't recommend. All you need is one crazy person to ruin it and no rules are enforced. People walked away with lost money to prioritize safety. read more

Great place the go karts are surprisingly fast and the races are pretty intense. Anytime there's a crash or someone spins out the track operators automatically slow everyone's go karts while they clear up the track. It was about a 20 minute wait to race which went by pretty fast. They have air hockey and a pool table to play while you wait or if you just wanna hang out after racing. Staff was super friendly and helpful Will definitely be going back. read more

My husband, myself and 3 kids have always enjoyed karting. We've been to many varieties including gas powered outfits all over California. K1 has always offered a quality product but this Dublin location is by far the best we've experienced. Location is easy to get to just off the 680/580. Parking is plentiful and the decor is spot on. There's plenty of comfortable seating to chillax in between sessions (much needed breaks), lots of big screen TV's and the food looks pretty good all around(I've only had the YUMMY gourmet sausage dog). Last but most important, the staff are top notch in this market. Super attentive and friendly team of employees. I don't know everyone but Andrew stood out while we were waiting to enter the track. He was very thorough with the pre-drive briefing, he even quiz the kids on the flags to ensure they were paying attention. Ken the manager runs a tight ship and his leadership by example permeates to his team. Everyone seemed to care about keeping things moving expediently and smoothly. Good clean fun, smoke free atmosphere and top notch staff. Call ahead to get an idea of wait times so you can minimize potential busy rush. Terrible service. I've been here a few times before with work groups where I've reserved a few hours but my first time on a non-work related visit. I bought 2 races each fro myself and my 2 sons. The 45 min wait for the first race wasn't bad, as it seemed to be pretty normal. But we waited for 1hr 15mins for our 2nd race, which we were never called for. I asked the guy managing the counter twice when our turn would come up but he basically told us that he would call us when it was our turn. After watching several people have 2-3 consecutive races, even some raced 4 times since we had our race. He told us that the cashier messed up and that they scheduled everyone else incorrectly but scheduled ours correctly, which is why we were the only ones waiting for an extended period of time. Even as I was having the discussion with him, a race ended and 4 people from that race got right back onto new carts and prepared for the next race. He told us there was nothing he could do about it. I talked to the manager and pretty much heard the blame game. Apparently the excuse for the day is that everyone was new. I'll never go again nor will have any work related events there. read more

No clue why this place doesn't have better ratings, because we had a ball! I was originally going to go to unagi racing in Livermore because it had better reviews, but after leaving 2 voicemails and getting no response, I decided to contact K1 speed instead. I called, left a message and someone got back to me the same day. She explained all my options to me on the phone, and followed up with a detailed email immediately after our convo. The staff were all super friendly and didn't rush us at all. The whole experience was great. We got the party room which was plenty big, and had linens already in there. I decided not to try the catering, and spent my money on renting out the whole track instead. Worth every penny! We got at least 6 races, and everybody got to go 2-3 times. The kids had fun running around in the common areas, and playing giant jenga in the lounge area. Great time! read more

Visited K1 Speed last weekend. The racing was great however, lots of compliance issues with Covid 19 guidelines. None of the workers were enforcing people to wear a mask. When people were done racing, they took off the protective sleeve (that was provided for helmet use). No one put a mask on after that and the workers never said anything. Costumers were approaching the workers asking when they could race next with no mask on, putting the workers at risk as well as all the other customers in the building. Most of the helmets were not getting cleaned after each use. The employees would clean a few and then not do the rest. I think the issue with the helmets was disorganization. Customers were not putting the helmets on the dirty rack nor were they told to by the employees. No social distance guidelines were in place whatsoever. Lots of groups/parties were there but all the kids were running around bumping into people (no mask on) and again no social distancing between all the customers and parties there. Guidelines for where the parties should wait for their next race need to be implemented. Otherwise, you have 30-50 people all crowded in one area with more than half on them with no mask and the workers doing nothing about it but just observing and letting it happen(like what happened when I was there). The website stated online all these "guidelines" they are following to keep their customers safe but, I saw none of that happening. I really hope management can get to the bottom of this because it's a shame no guidelines are taking place and they are one of the lucky businesses that can be open during this time. read more

Came in with a couple of friends to try go-kart racing for the first time. Total came out to $103 for 4 of us which seemed rather high but the place seemed nice. Customer service throughout the whole experience was meh. Even though the place was empty, our group was rushed to get into our karts as soon as possible. As for the actual racing, it was awesome! The only downside is the entire race lasted less than 5 minutes (4 minutes and 40 seconds to be exact). $103 for 4 minutes and 4 seconds was hard to justify as we were driving home. Definitely will not be returning unless price drops in half or time doubles. read more

Our experience was amazing! Staff was kind and worked professionally. Go carts were the fastest I have ever driven. Only concern was both my friend and I ended up with a bump/bruise on our spine due to the go-carts, if there was something they could offer on the back rest it would be helpful. This was our third time to K1Speed in Dublin, and it continues to impress me. I brought my 3 grandkids for a day of fun. My older 2 grandkids are old hats at kart racing but this was the first time for my youngest grand daughter. The staff and went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and prepared for her first time on the track. The safety briefing was presented so that she could completely understand what she had to do to keep herself and others safe when she was on the track. Since it was a slow time the track staff were able to give her some hands on help. Just an outstanding team of professionals to make sure you have fun and stay safe read more

First time customers. Purchased 2 races for 2pp tickets online, with waivers in hand. Stood in line for 15 minutes for cashier to tell me we need to register on the kiosk first. Recommend a sign notifying customers to register prior to getting in line. Got back in line another 10 minutes. Required to pay an additional $6.00 x2 for a "membership" to what not sure?? Don't see coming back. Expensive entertainment family activity. Arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday - 1 1/2 hr wait for turn on track. Sunday football game available on TVs, complementary popcorn, few games to entertain while wait. Didn't like how they mixed youth & Adult racers. My first time youth (10 & 13yo) racers with experienced adult drivers. Approx. 8 minute race time. Received a quick instruction before getting in the Kart. Could have given us the instruction card to review with our kids during the 1.5 hr wait. Kids did fine and enjoyed the experience. My daughter didn't like how her peddle was adjusted on first race, second race changed seat - better. Son second race had a shaky kart - slowed him down. Asked for a Happy Birthday shoutout, apparently it was to complicated. read more

We took a soccer team of 18 kids and two adults to K1 and the kids had a blast. They were a little disorganized to start the registration process, but delivered on the track. Even when the boys wiped out a few times. The staff Was quick to get out there and check for any injuries and get the boys up and running again. Well I have been there 2 times and I must say that this last time on July 6th around 1pm. was not as good as last time in May. First off, it was very warm inside the facility, too warm. Turn on some air conditioning as it was hot outside and not much cooler inside. Went there with my adult son, checking in, paying went fine. Getting set to drive the cars, they put us with a group of 4 or 5 men. All was well to begin with, and then one of the guys decided it was bumper cars. This guy started bumping guys in his group out of the turns then we all had to slow down. This happened I believe 3 times. He decided to bump my son also, which was not cool at all. Then with 1-2 laps left, one guy in their group spun out so again we all had to slow down as the operator kills the power to all cars. My question is this, why wasn't Mr. Bumper car guy, kicked out, or removed from the race? We pay to race, you know... go fast. Not have to go slow because some guy thinks it's demolition derby and keeps making us all have to go slow. Your young man in charge should have remove this guy from the race. Period! It says somewhere in the rules that repeated bumping is not allowed, yet it was. I don't know if we will come back and spend hard earned money on that. I also know that there are a couple of other go cart places around the area, so I think we will try them next time we go. read more
