I've booked with her multiple times. Twice for myself and once for my son, so this is based on repeated experiences, not a one-time issue. I'll start with the only positive: her braiding technique is good. She clearly has skill. But everything else about the experience is extremely trash. Her reliability is a major problem. Appointments get rescheduled last minute, sometimes without proper notice, and there have been instances where appointments were canceled altogether. What makes it worse is the clear pattern- if a "celebrity client" comes up, regular clients get pushed aside like they don't matter. That kind of inconsistency makes it impossible to trust her with your time. On top of that, the way she communicates is unprofessional and, at times, uncomfortable. There's a tone that comes off dismissive and disrespectful, like you're inconveniencing her just by being there as a paying client. I even witnessed her yell at a client through the door for simply trying to enter the building, which was honestly shocking. That kind of behavior says a lot about how she treats people. At the end of the day, talent doesn't excuse poor business practices. Being skilled but unreliable, inconsistent, and disrespectful to clients is a serious issue. I gave her multiple chances, and each time confirmed the same thing that there's a lack of professionalism and respect. If you value your time, clear communication, and being treated properly as a client, I would strongly recommend going somewhere else. read more

I just want to say thank you again for doing such an amazing job on my son (5years old first time getting braids and my daughters hair! The wash and blow dry was gentle and professional, and the braids came out so neat and clean. Their hairstyles lasted all month long and still looked good weeks later. My son has got his hair braided by her before. My complaint is that she often reschedules. This time I have a braid appointment for my son FOR A HOLIDAY & not only does she change the appointment. She also asked me to go to a further location in Long Beach. Deposits are nonrefundable but I feel like it should be if you're constantly changing things such as location and date and time. I waited 1 1/2 months for this appointment and let me tell you I could not be happier!!!!!!!!!! The style is clean the parts are even cleaner. Not to mention K2 is so nice and accommodating. I had my first visit to K2 Braids this past Saturday November 28th. Initially I wasn't sure how my experience would turn out. But, I was impressed with her website pretty clear on pricing and styles. I spent over a year trying to find the braider who did what they promised. If you're like me I look at consistency and proof of a product and I compare and look at customer reviews. I didn't really look at K2 Customer Reviews because I was very impressed with her work and website clarity. The other thing I like is she responds fairly quickly I mean like within the hour quickly. I have nothing negative to say about this young lady. She's meticulous, her shop is clean, its quiet she adheres to the covid protocol. I'm very tender headed and I have very thin to zero hair on top...she wasn't rough, she wasn't insulting, she was very knowledgeable and gentle on my head. Hands down by far she's a very good braider. I've been to many some good some not so good but Kiesha (I may have spelling wrong) is very good at her craft. Honestly I have been here twice to get my hair done , and the reason why I haven't in a while is because she is ALWAYS BOOKED. Both time I have been to get my hair braided she was so professional , on time and did not hurt me not once . She actually cares about your hair so if you ask for a style maby that won't look good or your hair length or texture won't look good she always suggest something else . My experience at K2 Braid Studio was fantastic! I got my hair braided for the first time by Myi and she is amazing. The price includes a wash and condition and she gave me advice on how to take care of the braids as well as my natural hair. She also let me know which products would suffice to do the job. She even helped me decide what hair to use to perfect my look. I also got to choose what to watch on TV . My braids are exactly what I asked for and the time went by so fast because she is hilarious!
