I always give this shop a chance but they always disappoint. Every time I go it just gets worse than the time before. This time I only asked for my toes to be done. I got the deluxe spa option and she never touched my cuticles, barely scrubbed my feet and was ready to put gel polish after me sitting in the chair for less than 30 minutes. I asked her if she was going to at least do my cuticles and she says she did. Of course I speak with the owner and let him know and he's like (oh no they look good) . She was older and sweet and seemed like she was only there to help out but the quality is the same from everyone else. I paid for the service minus and left with no gel polish. read more

I've been cooming to this nail salon for over 5 years, and they are always doing their best! I don't expect perfection, I enjoy consistency and gratitude. They are always polite and helpful. I know that nail art isn't their niche, so I never come here for that type of service. The place is clean and the staff is all smiles. Amazing selection of polishes and a good variety of other esthetic services. The products are great quality, and the wait time is minimal. Appointments are encouraged by not required. The prices are posted and explained before they begin the requested work. Many of us regulars enjoy chatting with one another, but for the most part, it's a peaceful, quiet place. If you're looking for a nail service you can depend on, I recommend giving them a try. My only suggestion is that you keep in mind that they are more of a general nail shop and not a nail art salon. It's important that we rate these businesses for what they do offer, not what they don't specialize in. One last pointer... paying cash gets you a frequent super card that earns you special discounts. Don't forget to bring your cash and get your card punched for special rewards. Caroline's review is quite inaccurate. As a matter of fact, I was getting my nails done at the same time. The 8 year old girl with me even mentioned "wow that lady was so rude" once we left. So thank you for helping me give an example of how NOT to act. K2 doesn't put gel on regular polish because it won't hold. He explained that. You only paid for the pedicure without gel. I understand you brought your own gel in, but do you bring steak to a restaurant and expect a free meal? It still takes time and effort to paint on and use the light. It takes more effort to remain respectful to someone so nasty. Next time, maybe listen instead of mentioning your daughters "manager position" next door." Maybe we'll bring our hair cutting scissors over to super cuts and ask your daughter for a free haircut, then post a dishonest review online. Poor service and and rip off. I have been doing my own nails for 8 years. I came in here for a basic pedicure. I brought the SAME gel and glitter nail polish that I have painted on my hands. First the male worker says he can't put my glitter polish on to of gel. That's a lie. So I told him just skip the glitter even after I showed him it on my nails. Then they wanted to charge me $15.00 to use the gel polish that I brought in. I ended up with a basic pedicure, with NO polish for $30.00. Bad business practices. read more

Never coming back here again. I would recommend people to go literally anywhere else. I got charged $75 for my nails, they were super ugly and super lumpy. First issue I showed her how short I wanted my nails, proceeded to make them long. She then offered to do French tip, which I agreed because I thought it would look good but I told her I didn't want my real nail to show under, proceeded to let the nail show underneath. Don't get me started on the heart! Wtf are those hearts, you can even see on the blue pic the index finger heart looks like trash. Then she added the little cross idk why never told her to do that. This salon does nails and can give you a design that you show them a picture of. They do take walk-ins but I also like to reserve a spot so I called to make an appointment but BEWARE because even when you have an appointment be prepared to wait or they'll ask you to come back later. I've came to this salon before and wasn't impressed but decided to give it another try. I come here with my daughter and she really loves it but you can't really mess up a kids pedicure. I had a younger girl do my pedicure the first time I came here and an older woman do my pedicure and fill my most recent visit. I got the deluxe pedicure ($55 I think) and expected more. No foot massage! That's the best part of a pedicure. Literally rubbed oil and lotion on legs/feet. She did ok on my toes so whatever. My fill, however... I'm so frustrated! I showed her a picture of what I wanted, thinking she would go and find the colors for me because every other nail salon has some that for me. I couldn't find anything close to the picture so I settled. She happens to go get the gold color I needed and it wasn't what I wanted or what was pictured. I was bothered at this point. I get home and noticed I had weird, blue splotches all over my nails! I can't tell if it's spots where there's not enough polish (like I needed another coat) or if it's discoloration. It was hard to pick up in pictures but I tried. My nails weren't shaped right, they were filed uneven and bumpy. It's too expensive to pay for something that's mediocre at best. **After 2 weeks, one nail lifted and the gel started peeling off of another. Super disappointed. read more

I decided to try this place after my daughter suggested it to me. I walked in and was asked what I needed. I told her gel fill and she talked to the other person there and then left me standing, After about five mins a lady walked in said sorry she was late and sat down to get her nails done. The employee looked at me and said I could sit at station one. I think they were waiting to see if the lady was gonna show before sitting me which I thought was nice cause some places will start you with one then move you around. She was fast and efficient and did exactly what I asked for. My nails looked super when I left and over a week later they still look great. The reason I took away a star is they don't give you the friendliest vibes. Other people came in and was told to come back the next day and it was early in the day. It wasn't that they were told to come back the next day it was the way it was said to them. It could be because of covid they are low staff so they are probably overwhelmed. I started going here about six months ago. I started with Kelly then she was never available so I tried Amanda. She was loud & obnoxious but the only one available. My nail chipped the very next day. I learned early on that you need to tell them once you pick your color that you want the same color but in the polish that is included in your fill or they will try to charge you $10-20 more. I ALWAYS get a fill & gel polish change on my toes to match, ALWAYS make an appointment & every other visit I get my eyebrows waxed. A couple of months ago I started going to the owner, I don't remember his name but the only guy in there. He's not very personable but given his English is poor, it's hard to understand him anyway. Today I called on my lunch break to make an appointment for 5:45pm for fill, polish change & eyebrow wax. The lady tells me I'm all set. I get there about 10 mins early, start to pick out my color & dude tells me he can only do my fill & eyebrow wax. I tell him I have an appointment for all 3 & that's not acceptable as my nails & toe HAVE to match. He tells me he doesn't have time. Then why wasn't I told this when I made my appointment? If it didn't work for him then perhaps the lady (his wife) offer and alternate time or day. It was 5:40, they don't close til 7pm. They had 1 customer in the place & 3 people working. What's the problem? I can't tell you cuz when I tried asking these questions the threw his hands up & walked to the back like a child. I left, did some shopping & as I came back by at 6:20 they were closed although it says they are open til 7pm. Don't bother with this place. They are overpriced, Will up charge you unless you speak up, argue amongst themselves, never keep appointments & service is mediocre at best. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I literally just left there. I took my daughter here to get her toes done before her first trip to Disneyland. As soon as I walked in the door I noticed it was empty and the two women working were both sitting towards the back talking. Once they found out I just wanted my daughters toes done they both had angry looking faces. The younger woman came walking towards us and rushed my daughter to pick a color. Then she came up with every excuse not to paint her toes, mind you NO ONE ELSE WAS IN THERE! After all her excuses I told her if she didn't want to do it she could've said it. My husband and I went and got our feet foot the lady with red hair tried to keep forcing my husband into getting a $70 after he told her what he wanted like 6 times I said excuse me no he does t want a higher one so please stop trying to pressure him and so because he didn't get a higher one she rushed thru his pedicure and was extra rough the young lady Lee on the other hand took her time with my feet and did everything correctly a little slower but she was precise about her work. For Valentine's day I got a gift card to K2 nails, so i decided to use it. I liked the fact that I didn't have to wait to be helped, as soon as I got there I was helped. However I didn't like that the lady who was doing my pedicure cut me and made me bleed. Went in today for a take off/soak up. The lady spoke on the phone the entire time in another language. I explained I wanted to save my nails to be gentle removing acrylic so that I could get a gel manicure.she responded with "we will see once I get the nail off". This set is about 1 month old applied by k2 nails themselves. She proceeded to rip my nails off as I'm screaming she's on the phone paying me no mind. She cut through the acrylic with clippers right through my actual nail leaving it split in two. I screamed , she stopped then cut me again in the same spot with clippers. She ripped half of one nail off with another false nail.... I had to pull my hands away from her and almost run out the shop . She tried pulling my arm back as to tell me to let her finished I pulled away and I literally left this shop weeping with bleeding nails/fingertips holding my hands like a wounded animal. She told me that I could go home and soak in acetone. Which is what she should have done to begin with. Which I cant do because she cut so far back its bleeding and I could only imagine the sting acetone would provide. Not to mention this woman came from the cleaners next door.
