No stars ..... Completely LACKS PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS !!!! I used to bring my 2 Pekingese dogs there for many years. During the last 7 months I had to put both down due to old age/issues- 15 and 13 years old. I just got a new puppy in Jan. of 2023 & decided to get his first real grooming today 6/8/2023. I enter K-9 Design this afternoon with my dog and greeted by Carol immediately telling me same cut as the other two. I said, "Yes, Puppy cut." She said to me, " Then you should have bought a Chihuahua." I was taken back by her rude comment and just looked at her and said as short as possible. When she text me to say he was ready, she implied he was wiggly and fresh. I said, " Well, he is only 7 months old and his first time at the groomers." She kept saying he was nervous and nippy, especially at his backside. Needless to say, he looked hardly any different from when I dropped him off. She did as she wanted with a slight messy trim and cut his nails. As I gave her the $75 dollars for truly a bath & trim, she sarcastically said, "Maybe he'll be better next time." I looked at her and said, "They'll be NO NEXT TIME!!" Now I see where her daughter Danielle gets her Horrendous Attitude from!!!! Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. read more

Please don't bring your dog there. My dog wasn't the same for 3 days after we took him there. Wasn't even sure if it was our dog (seriously). I don't know what they did to him. Seemed dirty and not the best bedside manor. I have been waiting a while to write this as I took him there last year. Just absolutely horrible. read more

my dogs a one year old golden doodle very calm and cooperative and happy , let's you do anything you want. after his grooming appointment last week, our poor baby didn't even look like himself. he looked like a completely different dog, shaved right down despite us not asking for that. he had multiple cuts under his arm pits and on his stomach, near his butt and groin. my poor baby hasn't been the same since, more quiet and sad and less playful. I'm never bringing him back there and others shouldn't either. read more

My sister brings in her dog here and since the last two times the dog had mutiple cuts and gashes. We weren't even told about it. The person we had spoken to was Daniel or something close to that and she was not helpful to say the least. It's been a long while since we last went there however I drove by this establishment only to be reminded of the past hence my review. I do not recommend this place. read more

I have been bringing my Bambi to K9 for 14 years for grooming i am never disappointed she is always so clean and smells unbelievable!!!! I also use them for boarding. Please do NOT bring your pets to this establishment! I brought my Shih Tzu here about 4 times and 2 out of the 4 times I was reprimanded by Danielle (I think thats her name) that I need to make sure my dog is "completely empty before bringing hime here". I explained that I always make sure he does his business before coming here and I cannot help if he has an accident! She was so NASTY! I was bringing my Maltese here but after our last visit I will not be going back. After we got home we realized a huge gash under my dogs front leg. When we called to inquire, Danielle explained that she nicked him with the razor and when we asked her why she didn't tell us when we picked him up, her response was, "I forgot." Well, needless to say we will not be using their services any longer. read more

Great experience at K9 Design today. Was looking for a new groomer as I just moved to the neighborhood. Carol the owner responded to my message promptly and when I met her for my appointment today she took the time to talk about what I wanted and my expectations, and she was knowledgeable about American Eskimo dogs and how they should be groomed. My dogs look and smell great and they did not seem stressed out (as they sometimes are after a grooming). I am extremely pleased with K9 Design. read more

I used this groomer 2 times. My first experience was okay but my second experience was horrible. I brought my dog in for a 2:00 appointment and 2 hours later called and was told she wasn't ready. After 3 hours I decided to just pick her up and take her home even if she wasn't ready since I knew she would be hungry and in need of walking. When I arrived, I looked in and saw her wet in her crate and not yet groomed and was scolded for looking in. When I said I wanted to take her home they said they would just blow her dry which I said okay to. They blew and proceeded to give her a rush grooming which I didn't agree to. When they brought her out, she had a horrible cut which will take weeks to grow out and they charged me for it too! Why bother making appointments if they don't honor them? I will find a groomer who will treat my dog more professionally and not leave her in a crate for hours unattended! This groomer gets no stars from me! read more
