I've found it hard to find an upscale Thai place, and this did the trick. One note: If you're parking in the garage you can register your car at the front and not pay for parking like I did! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of our server. She was very curt and not friendly. Additionally I'd asked a question about the plum wine and she said it was good so I tried it at her recommendation. I took one sip and it tasted like children's grape medicine so I asked if I could get a different drink, but was surprised that the plum wine was still on my check when I went to pay. I would have expected to pay for the wine if she'd left the glass on the table and just brought over the second drink, but she took my wine and brought out the new glass of wine I ordered. They were pretty packed and busy, but we really enjoyed the experience overall. You can easily park in the parking garage that's behind Mi Cocina, you can scan the QR code in the restaurant and enter your license plate number and they validate your parking for two hours which is nice. The food itself was really tasty- we got the fried Thai dumplings (which unfortunately I didn't photograph) and they were very flavorful. I got the pad see eew noodles with chicken and they were seasoned just right, with the perfect level of spice (you choose whatever level you want). Parking around uptown is always hit or miss. Once we found parking though, we found that the restaurant inside was packed. Service was excellent and they were able to get the food out quick. One of my coworkers found their curry too spicy and the server was nice enough to switch it out for another dish for no charge. (My coworker is very sensitive to spice but I thought the spice level was perfect) The food was flavorful and prices were very reasonable for the quality. I got the pad thai and it was delicious. Probably my favorite restaurant in uptown. Haven't had a bad item yet. It's nice that it's not super busy as I have not had to get a reservation yet. I hope it stays open because the food is great and the staff is on the spot with the refills on drinks. While a bit salty, the Pad Kee Maw Spice Level 3 was really flavorful. The Mi Krop was my favorite... was nice and crispy with a tangy twist to it. Loved the service as well. Food was brought in time, wait staff checked on us multiple times, Empty plates were picked up promptly making place for the new ones coming in. Drinks were a bit on the sweeter side. I had to ask for my Mule to be less sweet and more zinged. Beware of the parking. While the parking is comped/validated, the parking structure is a bit tight. Ordered delivery for dinner one Thursday night. Hubs and I got spring rolls, wings, pad thai with shrimp and "premium" chicken, and traditional Thai fried rice with "premium" chicken. The spring rolls were crispy and delicious. The wings, however, were disappointing. They were 4 small wings cut in half. I ordered Thai flavor, but they barely had any sauce...or meat. Not worth the price at all. The pad Thai was good. I would have loved a bit more peanut and a bit less sugar. Now...I have no idea what was "premium" about the chicken. It was the same chicken I've had at many other Thai restaurants. They won't get that upcharge from me again. I wondered if they forgot to include the premium part of it. The fried rice was the star.
