    Crispy Duck Noodle Soup*
    Sean C.

Absolutely love this place. Never been to the actual location because I always get it to go but it is still high quality. I get the duck roti almost every time I order from here. It is amazing and I never get tired of it. The duck is cooked perfectly and then wrapped in the pancake with the scallions and sauce is just perfect. For my main this time I got the duck noodle soup at medium spicy. Every bite was delicious and I could not stop eating it. The duck was nice and crispy snd meshed really well with the sauce. For spice level it was perfect for me. The soup had a nice heat level but it wasn't overpowering.

AMAZING food!! Keep in mind this place is BOYB - we didn't realize until we got there. Not a big deal, but I would have bought beverages if I knew. We got the panag curry and khao soi. Both were delicious; we were so happy to see khao soi on the menu, because most Thai places we frequent don't have it. Highly recommend!

I stopped here headed home from the nail salon that I frequent. I LOVE Thai food and the reviews were good. I hate to say that I'm disappointed. I ordered a bowl of Tom Kha soup 8oz. and a chicken satay appetizer. Why were these 4 little strips of chicken $12?!!!! I did a take out order. I tipped of course. Why was my total $26?!!! Robbery. That's insane. The flavor of the soup is good. But I don't care for the large cuts of chicken. The chicken in the soup is bigger than the peices of Satay. Overall I was disappointed. The chicken is dry and the peanut sauce oilier than I'd like. Sadly I probably won't be back. Which really sucks since I'm in the area all of the time. Things like this are how businesses miss out on repeat customers. I get that times are hard and food cost is expensive, but customers can't sustain these price hikes, especially when the portions don't match the cost. I wish I had a better review to give but this let me down for sure.

I have ordered from Sakhauu Thai through Uber Eats multiple times now & this place has NEVER been a disappointment. They package up my order with care every time, (not messy, not forgetful) The quality and flavors of my food have been fresh, hot and full of delicious flavor every time! I would highly suggest their Thai Panang (chicken) Curry, Phad Thai (chicken), Basil Fried Rice, Tom Kha Soup (might be my new favorite)& sampler with the Crab Rangoon & Egg Roll. Thanks Sakhuu for being so great! Unfortunately hard to come by these days. You guys are my favorite!!

This is truly a hidden gem and I do not understand why they are not packed the way they should be. The chef has curated one of the best timing use that I have ever had the service 10 out of 10 and the food is 1000 out of 10. It's a small restaurant so you won't be able to have a large party go, if you get this to go, you still have an amazing experience. I have recommended this restaurant so many people who come to visit Dallas because this experience is just something that you can't leave Dallas without going to.

You just get it from their fridge. I liked their beef larb. Level 4 was pretty spicy. We got it cooked. The Laos sausage was good but tasted like the ones you can buy yourself and cook. Their nam Khao had very good flavor. My only critique is that it could be even crispier and it would be perfect. Their Khao poon is okay not bad. I like my mother in laws better. Khao piek had good hearty broth flavor. Overall would come back if in the area! Their ambiance is a restaurant combined with a market you can get some pantry or frozen foods.

It's tucked away and attached to a small Lao grocery store, which honestly made it feel even more authentic. The moment we walked in, it felt like we were about to get a home-cooked meal. We ordered the organ soup with sticky rice, beef lahp, and nam khao, and everything was absolutely delicious. The broth in the organ soup was rich, clean, and deeply flavorful, exactly how it's supposed to taste. The sticky rice came out warm and perfectly chewy. The beef lahp was bright and herbaceous with the right amount of spice and lime, super fresh, and tasted just like what we've had in Laos/at family gatherings. And the nam khao was crispy, tangy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they don't cut corners on ingredients here. What I appreciated most is the authenticity. A lot of other reviewers mentioned that this is one of the few places in Texas where the food tastes "just like home," and I completely agree. Multiple people also mentioned the friendly staff and how the market side carries essentials and hard-to-find Lao/Thai items. We felt the same way, everyone was kind, and the grocery section is a nice bonus for anyone looking for snacks or specialty ingredients. Portions were solid, prices were fair, and the quality was amazing. This is exactly the kind of spot you hope to find when traveling. If you want real Lao food, skip the trendy places and come here instead. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Texas. Highly, highly recommend.

The establishment is actually a mini market offering spices, household necessities, grocery food items, etc. -- but you're able to order some traditional Lao or Thai dishes from the cashier. I absolutely love Meat Larb and Papaya Salad, and I also picked up some small sticky rice and a container of cabbage pickle. I remember the gentleman at the counter quoted me around $42.00 for everything, which seemed right based on what I ordered. When I paid by card, I honestly didn't get a clear view of the amount on the terminal, and I was in a bit of a hurry, so I didn't think to ask for a receipt at the time. I totally regret that now! It wasn't until I checked my bank statement a couple days later that I noticed a charge of $282.20 from Overseas Market. As you can imagine, I was pretty surprised, as it's quite a bit more than the $42.00 I was expecting. Spoke with the man by the phone he said I don't have a receipt and refused to work with me. At this point he left me no choice I got back online and did a partial dispute. This type of incident can happen to anyone so, please ask for a receipt and take time to look at it.

He also had the Chicken Wings also deep into the garlic flavor and very tender. He shared with me. Thank goodness. So I shared the always crunchy and tasty pork egg rolls. Heaven. They came with their own sauce, but there's a table up by the kitchen with the Hoisin, Sriracha, and other sauces and of course there is a spice tray. My husband had their wonderful green curry and I, the Pad Kee Mao, which was very spicy even at a (2). I wasn't keen on the noodle texture or lack of sauce. I've had many versions of Drunken Noodles and I wanted to like this this one. I love this grocery and restaurant combination. It's aromatic and fun!
