Khao Soi, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, fried veggie rolls, spring rolls. The list for this amazing Thai restaurant can go on a loyal customer. I go here so often because the service is amazing and restaurants super clean and A/C strong lol. Usually take out which is super quick and easy. They have a point system. The staff always gives me the best recommendations to try. The most recent being the Crispy Pork Belly Basil Stir-Fry. Omg it was so much better than I expected, perfectly crunchy and so much flavor. I do wish they had pork satay instead of chicken, I think it would definitely make it more juicy. I also wish their khao Soi was more Thai spicy. But for the price, portion, flavors and service this place deserves a gold star. Also the Thai tea is so underrated a must try! read more

My goodness. Just yes. Parking is easy and ample. It was clean and simplistic inside, with very comfortable seating. The service was pleasant and friendly. I ordered fried tofu, larb and fried banana egg rolls with coconut ice cream. The food was fantastic. Very fresh herbs and vegetables, everything was cooked perfectly and just delicious. I didn't love the fried tofu (likely because I'm used to a different style of peanut sauce) but was so pleased with my experience, I wasn't going to say anything. I just left it. The server noticed I didn't take it with me and brought it to my car. When I said I just didn't care for it, he ran back inside and refunded me for that item. The level of service is unparalleled. The dessert was outstanding. The ice cream was some of the best I've had and the egg roll was the perfect level of sweet and flavorful. The food is difficult to describe because none of it was overdone. It was all just simple and delicious. When I'm back in Dallas, this will 100% be a must visit spot. read more

Absolutely love this place. Never been to the actual location because I always get it to go but it is still high quality. I get the duck roti almost every time I order from here. It is amazing and I never get tired of it. The duck is cooked perfectly and then wrapped in the pancake with the scallions and sauce is just perfect. For my main this time I got the duck noodle soup at medium spicy. Every bite was delicious and I could not stop eating it. The duck was nice and crispy snd meshed really well with the sauce. For spice level it was perfect for me. The soup had a nice heat level but it wasn't overpowering. read more

Disclaimer -- my review is not about their food, it's about an encounter I had with an employee that speaks volumes about their hospitality and attitude. I pulled into their parking space at about 10:30am to load up my 2 and 3 year old after they received a service suites down during a rainy morning. At max, I was in the spot for about 10-15 mins, mind you there was 3 other parking spots with their reserved sign. And their side of the parking lot was very empty, only 1 car in front. An employee walked out & asked for much longer I will be parked in the reserved parking spot. I never exited my vehicle, I never turned off my vehicle. I was excited to try Sakhuu Thai Cuisine after seeing so many glowing reviews, but unfortunately my experience fell short. I ordered the ground chicken basil, and the texture was extremely tough and chewy,nothing like ground chicken at all. It tasted more like thinly sliced chicken that had been fried hard and covered in sauce. Since it was a delivery order, I couldn't take it back, and I don't like to complain through delivery apps because it isn't the driver's fault. The egg on top was nicely cooked, but the dish itself was so off that I couldn't eat it. Disappointing experience for a place I had high hopes for. I stopped here headed home from the nail salon that I frequent. I LOVE Thai food and the reviews were good. I hate to say that I'm disappointed. I ordered a bowl of Tom Kha soup 8oz. and a chicken satay appetizer. Why were these 4 little strips of chicken $12?!!!! I did a take out order. I tipped of course. Why was my total $26?!!! Robbery. That's insane. The flavor of the soup is good. But I don't care for the large cuts of chicken. The chicken in the soup is bigger than the peices of Satay. Overall I was disappointed. The chicken is dry and the peanut sauce oilier than I'd like. Sadly I probably won't be back. Which really sucks since I'm in the area all of the time. Things like this are how businesses miss out on repeat customers. I get that times are hard and food cost is expensive, but customers can't sustain these price hikes, especially when the portions don't match the cost. I stumbled upon this place a couple of years ago while working in Dallas, and it is often my first stop upon arriving at the airport. This spot is tucked away and may not look like much. But the vibe is relaxed and the food is always EXCELLENT. As an avid traveler, this still ranks as one of my all-time favorite Thai places. My absolute favorite dish is the Panang Noodles -- wide rice noodles and panang curry. A simple dish, but not often offered on menus. The Lao eggrolls and stuffed chicken wing are also highlights. They package up my order with care every time, (not messy, not forgetful) The quality and flavors of my food have been fresh, hot and full of delicious flavor every time! I would highly suggest their Thai Panang (chicken) Curry, Phad Thai (chicken), Basil Fried Rice, Tom Kha Soup (might be my new favorite)& sampler with the Crab Rangoon & Egg Roll. The chef has curated one of the best timing use that I have ever had the service 10 out of 10 and the food is 1000 out of 10. It's a small restaurant so you won't be able to have a large party go, if you get this to go, you still have an amazing experience. This is a very underrated Thai spot in Dallas just outside of uptown! I had passed by a few times and never tried it as it is not very visible from the main streets, but I am glad I finally went! I tried their Tom Kha soup, regular pad Thai, and white pad Thai. All were "clean the plate" worthy! I am knocking off 1 star because I ordered to-go and when I picked up the food, the inside of the restaurant had an unpleasant odor and the staff is very to the point with minimal customer service-esque conversation. All in all, I would definitely recommend ordering to-go from Sakhuu, and hope the odor was a one off issue to allow for dine in. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this cute little place. A friend thought it'd be a great spot for Thai after checking out several different menus online. (I should mention he's from Cali.) I had the most delicious chicken curry and shrimp pad thai in Dallas. There weren't many people dining in on a Saturday night but the amount of people picking up to-go orders was noticeable. I had dismissed this place after a subpar visit several years back. I decided to give it another try. Two of the dishes ordered were quite good, one was adequate, but the Tom Yum soup...my standard for Thai food, was miserable. But I can't give a bad review based on disappointing soup when other dishes were good. The Yum Woon Sen with ground chicken was really satisfying with tangy lime dressing and plenty of fresh veg. It wasn't as spicy as I would have liked, but the standard 1-5 choice is subjective. I've had 3's that lacked any heat, and 3's that were unbearable. I don't fault Sakhuu for that. I also ordered the spicy dumplings. They were so interesting, accompanied by a slightly spicy and creamy sauce. It was unexpected and very good. The salad rolls with shrimp were serviceable, but the peanut sauce was dark and thick and unappealing. The main reason this review isn't higher is the Tom Yum soup. In the past I have held Tom Yum as evidence of the entire restaurant's quality, but this soup doesn't hold the same sway these days, and other dishes were good. It was oily and flavorless, lacking the signature sour/savory signature broth. There were mushrooms, a sliced stalk of ginger, some onion and my protein of choice, but it wasn't flavorful or really good at all. I would try Sakhuu again, up my spice tolerance to a 4, skip the soup, but try something else unfamiliar on the menu. I have s feeling they have more surprises in store. read more

I'm really sad to be writing this updated review. I used to love coming here and after the first time I reviewed it had come back many times. I came this weekend for the first time in 6+ months because I moved and it was not anything like it used to be. They've done some renovations inside to make it look nice but the food quality and portion size has dropped. I ate inside for the first time. To my surprise, the Bangkok beef is MUCH smaller than the 4-5 times that I've had it for takeout and the beef was pretty tough. My friend ordered the white pad Thai and his noodles and chicken were tough. This place is definitely not cheap ($20 for the Bangkok beef and $6 for fried rice; I believe $20 for the pad Thai too) and I felt it's no longer worth the price. read more

This was a very good place. The ac was not working so it was warm inside but that did not stop us from trying this Thai restaurant out. The fried tofu was good to me but it was nothing that special. The chicken satay was delicious it had a nice flavor to it. When I first took a bite into the duck roti the flavor of the duck brought back memories from when I was in Hong Kong and had duck. The crispy pork belly soup came out nice and hot. I got spice level 2 which for me was just fine it gave my mouth a nice burn. Now I know for most people that is weak lol. I did really enjoy this Thai place. If you are in the mood for Thai give them a try. read more
