It's useless asking someone if they overcook their lamb but I'm starting to see that most mediterranean food spots do. BUT, after you cut away the outside of the meat that had been exposed to the heat source, the inside is pretty soft still. Shame I have to put in so much work for eating. The location is convenient, plenty of parking, and lots of foot traffic. Ordering is simple and there are many options to choose from. My friend had a plate with chicken and I had a plate with lamb. His chicken was dry and my lamb took extra work. The rice was VERY heavy and buttery, which was intense with light spices. Like a tornado of flavors. The pita bread was dry but went well with the hummus. There was TOO MUCH cucumber in the yogurt and they give you generous portions, or was it generous because I couldn't eat everything on the plate. The garlic sauce was lighter than I had expected and the tahini sauce was nicely thick. A major gripe I had was how long we had to wait. I understand cooking meat through and through to make sure no one got sick, but all our meat was dry. So, it was overcooked and not very pleasant to eat. I stumbled upon this place when I was driving through the Costco shopping center off of McKinley and I'm glad I did. The food is authentic and fresh with large portions. I got the beef and chicken shawerma with 2 sides and pita bread. I highly recommend it. They even give out small samples if you ask for it so I tried the pistachio baklava. Delicious! Glad we decided to try this place over Panini Grill which is one of our usual spots. The food taste like you were eating a good authentic dinner at someone's house. (Which IMO is hard to come by with all the chain restaurants) The chicken had so much flavor, hummus was yummy, and the Mediterranean salad was perfect! I have eaten at many Mediterranean restaurants. I would categorize this as American-Mediterranean. It was not particularly fresh food. I thought the veggies on the salad were chopped too large, and the flavors did not blend well. The kabobs seemed to have been frozen and thawed on the grill, and the meat did not taste fresh. I guess it's okay for someone not familiar with this type of ethnic food. The Mediterranean area is known for fresh, flavorful vegetables. One final thing I noticed was the grimy clothes the servers wore. The two people who took my order and prepped the food had stained, greasy red shirts that should not be worn in public let alone at an eating establishment. We've been coming to Kabab Crush for years. The food was always amazing, but the management is DELUSIONAL. It appears that management has taken it upon themselves to inflate their prices in extraordinary ways. Because of inflation. Of course. Which, we were willing to go along with for a while. Until inflation was no longer the reason. Chicken prices have gone way down, but apparently Kabab Crush gets its chicken from the most expensive farms in the world. The only reason I can see for these prices is good old-fashioned greed. Here's a newsflash: You're not Lowry's. Or the French Laundry. You have no Michelin Stars, and even highly rated restaurants do not charge so much for a dang CHICKEN plate. $35 (AT LEAST) for a large chicken plate. Because like all cheapskates, the regular plate has MINIMAL protein, forcing you to order more and they charge out the butt for extra protein. It's heinous. We used to feed our whole family at Kabob Crush. That was until the price shot up from like $70 to feed our family of 5 to $150. Just because we can afford it doesn't mean it's right and it definitely means I will NOT support any business that tries to nickel and dime our community like this. I WISH Gordon Ramsey would walk into Kabab Crush and give them the business for how much they inflate their prices past normal profit and revenue needs. It's supposed to the 3x the cost to make the food, folks. 3x. I can get chicken for $2.99 a lb and cook it my damn self. Better yet, I can go to BJ's, Cheesecake Factory, or even PF Changs and have a great meal with ambiance and sit-down service for the SAME PRICE. In three years, literally NOTHING has changed in Kabab Crush - same tables and chairs, same decor, same bland everything. I'd feel differently if I saw that my money was going to support GROWTH. No, it's just stagnation and greed. Maybe that's why they feel the need to blow up their prices so dramatically. I hope you know this is what precipitates the steady decline and death of so many small businesses that get greedy and start pinching the pennies of their loyal customers. If you care about our community and want to uphold our standards of living and business integrity, do not support Kabab Crush and businesses like it. We as customers have to stand up and demand better! These places give small businesses a bad name and hurt the rest of us. And I'm tired rich people acting as though throwing money in the trash is a flex. You're only hurting our community. read more

I tried Chicken Shawarma with fries at this restaurant. Shawarma wrap was quite tasty. Fries were limp and lifeless. Their Hummus is also decent. Prices are a bit on the high side. Some entrees are between $25 to $28. These are not prices that one can expect to pay at a no frills, self service restaurant where you eat out of to go boxes or from styrofoam containers. Came here just so we can have a quick lunch and we were on believably impressed. I am Palestinian and I have been raised in the Middle East so when we walked in, I thought that we would just get some random Americanized middle eastern food.
