That the side of the meal is enough for two means that I have a leftover lunch to look forward to, at about $12 total. If I'm getting dinner for two, adding an order of Chicken 65 for $6 is my go to for to go. This place is low frills, but that's part of what I like about it. Kabob Hut is casual and relaxed, and you can get comfortable here if you prefer to dine in. The staff are friendly, and I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for my meal be it dine in or take out. As has been noted in other reviews, it can be really easy to miss the plaza. They don't have min common sense to inform the customer if they cancel the order. I understand that they might have to cancel the order some times. But what's wrong in calling the customer and informing the cancellation. I waited for 40mins and checked for the ETA and whom so ever answers the call says like a lord says "I cancelled your order oaky, Thank you" . Simple, clean place. Not much on the way of service other than taking our order and bringing the food. Had to flag down the water for drink refills, etc. Most disappointed with the dish recommendations as we had kids in the party. For example, the suggested roll/sandwich for the kids had jalepenos in it that hit me hard, and I can take a bit. Other dishes, despite ask for very mild, were quite spicy. Walked in . Stood in line to order food . When it came to be my turn to order food, was denied service - I asked for food to go and the gentleman at the counter said "no order" . I stared at him dumbfounded and he said "too busy , there is a buffet" . There was however no buffet at all . Apparently the buffet would be put out later ( it was 8 PM) . There was one family eating and a bunch of people taking out food . I wasn't dressed offensively or inappropriately or anything like that. I gather they were simply refusing service because it was inconvenient for them because of Ramadan. If you aren't going to serve customers, please keep your store closed. I'm used to all kinds of levels of customer service depending on various cultures and situations but this was without a doubt the absolute worst. Horrible service! I called to place my order and before I even had the chance to speak, immediately I was put on hold. I was on hold for a full 20 minutes before I finally decided to hop in my car and drive all the way there to place my order in person. While on the phone I could here the guy who answered the phone talking, laughing, and taking other people's order. Upset, I decidedly to stay on the phone just to see how much longer it'd be before they finally took me off hold to place my order as I drove to the location. When I finally pulled up to the restaurant, I was STILL on hold!!! When I entered the restaurant they weren't even that busy and the person at the cashier was standing right by the phone. This really upset me. I showed him that it was me still waiting on the phone waiting to place my order and that no one even bothered to take me off hold to so, and immediately he got argumentative with me and literally told me that he didn't care! After that I was rushed through my order and given a hard time. Whenever I asked for something, he told me they didn't have it available for order. What is this? How is this a restaurant with no food to order? How can you treat your customers so rudely? What's the point of being open and you can't even take a simple food order over the phone? I tried Kabab hut for the first time tonight for dinner. I ordered butter chicken and Haleem and garlic naan. I ordered it to go so I did not eat in the restaurant. It's located in a strip mall and really is a hole in the wall. I requested my food to be mild because even though I'm Indian I do not like too much spice and I'm picky when it comes to Indian food. I was really impressed by the taste of my food and it was mild enough for even my two year old daughter to enjoy. The chicken was tender and the portion size was definitely worth it! Prices are very reasonable. Service was great! I wish I had known of this place sooner because I definitely will be returning and will send my friends. read more

I'm honestly very disappointed by the steady yet persistent decline of this restaurant. I visited in order to try their Sunday buffet menu. Absolutely awful, they were serving reheated food from god knows when. Their Naan were either too buttery or stale, and their dining buffet was absolutely disgusting. What sent me over the top and inspired me to write this thorough review was the fact that their chicken was burnt/ crispy on the outside, yet raw on the inside. They had flies in their restaurant, and their staff seemed to be clearly disconnected mentally from their duties. The waiter forgot to give me a ticket for my buffet meal, and when I was paying decided to criticize me over his mistake by saying, "Don't start eating next time until you have been given a ticket." I was clearly told to go ahead and help myself to their buffet upon inquiring about it. I'm honestly surprised at how they stay in business, perhaps only because they claim to serve halal food.
