One of the best kabob places in the area and I'm upset it too me awhile to dine here. Now that I found it, I'll make sure it's part of my regular rotation. Ordered a quick dinner of garlic naan, butter chicken and chicken malai boti. Both entrees are winners! The butter chicken included a very nice order of chicken vs sauce ratio. Too many places are charging quite a bit for 4-5 pieces of chicken with tons of sauce. Not here! The grilled chicken was breast meat that was cooked to perfection and juicy! Garlic naan had plenty of fresh garlic and complemented the entrees beautifully. Service was attentive and fast, the restaurant is basic and very clean. If you're in the area, stop by you won't be disappointed.

Service is outstanding. They ask you if you had Indian food before and what is the spiciest level you can tolerate. Your water is always refilled and they're very prompt with the dishes. Restaurant is very clean. Lots of parking. Prices, I'm afraid for what you pay for it doesn't equal the amount of food you receive. Some of the dishes we got, I felt like for the price the portions should be more especially for $15-16. -Irani tea - 2/5. For a small or large size, I expect the foam cup to be a lot bigger. Definitely not $4 worth. The small size is like a shot glass size. -food despite the portion 4/5 -complimentary dessert 5/5 -portion size for plain rice and butter naan 5/5

Decided to give this new Naperville Indian Restaurant a try. I Ordered the Grill Combo with variety of mixed meat. Chicken Tikka & Tandoori Chicken was very tasty. The Beef Kababs(Bihari & Seekh) was very average. Restaurant was clean with good atmosphere. Service was also good. The grilled meats are all gluten free. Would have rated higher however they were not flexible in substituting the chapati bread for the plain nan in which they were equal in price( I would have gladly paid extra if given the option). The Gulab Jamoon was good, however the portion size was a bit small. Thank you

We came for our daughter's birthday dinner. We ordered butter chicken, very rich tasting, karahi chicken and a platter of chicken and beef kebabs. We ate all this with parathas and naan. While everything was tasty, it's really pricey. Service was good, but not too crowded of a place.

Travelled more than an hour to this newly opened restaurant. It was worth the ride. The food was delicious, excellent and served well. We ordered lassi, mixed grill, butter chicken, chicken biryani, mutton kadai, chicken noodles, fruit custard and faluda. Everything was good. The service is great. Very polite and helpful servers. The place is extremely busy. Better to make a prior reservation before going. The ambiance is good. Definitely going back for more. Hope they continue to keep their standards and quality up!!!

**update 10/28/23*** we decided to give them another shot and the service and the food was awesome. The atmosphere was decent except the owners friends came in with multiple kids that were running around, crying, screaming, and disturbing us. We don't get bothered easily as we have 6 kids of our own but this was absolutely crazy as the parent made no effort in controlling them.

We decided to pick up some food from Kabab King on the way to my parent's house. This place is located in the same plaza as Duck Donuts. We only got takeout, but the interior looked very nice; relatively upscale on the inside despite a dinky plaza and parking lot outside. Service was limited to my picking up the food and paying, but it was a friendly interaction. We got two orders of butter chicken. This review is based only on their butter chicken, not any of their grilled items. I guess I'll just say that it was different. It wasn't the same type of butter chicken I've had elsewhere. It wasn't sweet. Very different flavor. The flavors I got were mac & cheese mixed with turmeric. But it wasn't bad. It tasted interesting and was nice and creamy. I'd probably give this dish 3 stars, but based on the interior, service, and fair pricing, I'm giving the place 4 stars. Will have to try some grilled meats in the future.

The food quality is not authentic Pakistani cuisine. Pricing of items we ordered was higher then other places.

This was a very disappointing experience at Sara's Restaurant on 05/30/26…read more There was only one waiter serving the entire restaurant, and we often had to get up and find him whenever we needed something. The biggest issue was the payment process. The waiter handed me a portable payment device showing a total of $94.04 and immediately prompted me to select a tip amount. I chose 15%, bringing the total to $106.15. Only after asking for a receipt did I discover that an 18% service charge had already been added to the bill. I felt misled. The waiter should have first shown the full bill breakdown before presenting the tip screen. Charging an 18% service fee and then prompting customers for an additional tip without clearly disclosing it is not transparent. My party consisted of two adults and children, with the oldest being only 10 years old, which made the service charge even more surprising. The food itself was decent, although the portion sizes were quite small compared to other restaurants charging similar prices. Had the billing process been handled honestly and transparently, I would have overlooked the portion sizes. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not be returning. I wanted to share this review so others know what to expect.

What bothered me was the overall vibe there. Been too a lot of Indian restaurants and one thing they have in common is they're typically very welcoming. I read a review saying the owner always greets them nicely. He didn't even acknowledge me coming in. The waiter was very nice but got me in and out very quickly. Didn't pour my water. The overhead music was more like a massage spa than a restaurant. Play some traditional Indian or Pakistani music. That's more fun. It just all seemed a bit uncaring. Food was good but would I come back? Not sure.

The chickpea stew, puffy bread, and samosas were my favorite! The sauces were all delicious as well. What a wonderful little gem! I wish I lived nearby. I would be here every week. They have absolutely no intention to satisfy customers, ambiance is well just tables and chairs with some posters. I have been to many restaurants where food is not that great but the customer service is top notch and for that I give them credit, but at this place they turned out every small request we made for food for our small kid, we didn't ask for anything for free, we asked to customize, which they straight turned down, they have nothing that is kid friendly here. It was definitely a more "lowkey" experience, but it was a comfortable place to enjoy a relaxed meal. FOOD: We ordered the chicken noodle soup, egg rolls, goat curry, and tea leaf salad. We really enjoyed all of the food, but the rich and flavorful goat curry was definitely the standout! The tea leaf salad was still pretty good, although it was not quite as flavorful as we were hoping it would be. SERVICE: The service was exceptional from beginning to end. Everyone was kind, attentive, and welcoming without ever making us feel rushed. Our server was patient with us and even gave us a free dish when dishes were taking a bit longer to come out. PRICE/VALUE: Prices were pretty standard for the area and felt reasonable for the quality and portions. PARKING: Parking was easy and convenient with a large lot outside. Overall, this was a very solid four-star experience, and I would gladly come back for the goat curry!
