Arrived at 6pm on a Tuesday. There were 2 other people in the restaurant. Staff is friendly and helpful. I had the chicken and meat shawarma and a piece of baklava. You won't go hungry... the food was is abundant and you get a large portion. I only gave it three stars because it was good but not amazing. I had high hopes for this because my partner and I were craving mediterranean food. This place has great reviews and photos of the food looked delicious. The moment my partner and I walked in we were glared at and ignored. We walked up to the register to look at the menu and place an order. There are two workers working the kitchen and one of them turns around to take our order from over by his workstation (not at the pos system). We order our food and he doesn't take our payment and tells us to sit at a table, and also doesn't offer any drinks. Still trying to be hopeful we figured we would just wait for the food until I saw one of the cooks lick his finger and grabbed one of the plates used to serve food. read more

This place is somewhat hidden off the highway in a small strip mall behind a McDonald's and next to a hotel. It's definitely not a highly visible location, which is a shame because it's really good. So first time here, I went Wednesday night and it was not busy at all. Only me and two other people there. Location is a good location because they share parking with other shops in the area so parking is not limited. I ordered first and paid after I finished dinner. There was one cook and I think someone else in the building but was in a different room so didn't see them. The cook didn't greet us when we first walked in, but greeted us later when we were ready to order. My friend and I ordered the shawarma beef and lamb plate but I think we only got beef because there was no indication on which meat was which. It all looked the same. The portion is quick generous considering it was a 20$ plate. I've been to other mediterranean places and they normally give you a salad and chips with it but I only got pita bread with this dish. It wasn't the best but I was hungry so didn't mind. Just wished it came with more things for the price. It seems like a family owned place which is nice. That's always the best to support small businesses. But will definitely ordered something different next time read more

Sooooo good. It's been at least over a yr since I've had Turkish food. It's one of the things I miss from NJ. Ordered mix of Kabab with an extra stick of chicken, Mediterranean salad, hummus. This is 25 miles from where I now live, Stony Point. Really wish this place had a location a lot closer. Had to make a large order to make the drive worth it. Happy bday meal to me!! Best middle eastern food I've had since moving to NC! Growing up, I was spoiled with great falafel and had a rude awakening when moving down south where the the falafel is stale and sad looking. Thankfully, Kebab N Grill exists...unfortunately not in Charlotte but still for good food I'll make the trip. Not only do you get delicious food but it comes with jokes from the staff. They are always roasting my friend and I which I absolutely adore. Ambiance is okay but hey I'm here for the food. They usually bring out the food with great presentation so don't judge the horrible pictures I took one day while visiting their location. I can't believe I waited so long to eat here as it's been on my bookmark list for quite some time, isn't that far from home and I love Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food. Strange thing about Kabob and Grill, it's open, it's closed, it's open again... the people change, and the menu boards change, but it seems that the actual food part never changes, it's always the same and always good, and the ginger ale is perfect. cool about that so I'm in the area for some barbering except their app didn't really check me in like I thought so I was potentially looking at an hour wait from "then" not from the earlier like I'd hoped. not much I could do about it so maybe I'll just have dinner? at the kabab place? if they're open? yes, yes, and yes... having a go at portion control so I get the Kefta Kabab plate and a beverage. no apps, no dessert, just the meal. pass some time writing postcards and sipping soda waiting for my dinner as lots of folks pick up theirs to go... and out come two keftas on a plate of yellow rice fancied up with minced green and a bit of red onion accompanied by some tahini sauce and a bag-o'-sliced pita. yea for food! yea for me!! the keftas are fabulous! I have no idea how they're supposed to taste but if it were up to me I'd have 'em taste like these ones. just enough lamb and seasonings to not taste like beef-on-a-stick which is perfect! lightly crisped outside, wet and flavory inside and goes well with rice... what's not to like? The owner was very attentive and friendly. My kids enjoyed the chicken kabobs.
