Was feeling hungry after a round of errands and decided to try out this kabob spot. Didn't think anything of it and boy I'll tell you I was happily surprised. Located in a non discrete location with just a small sign outside it's easy to miss this hidden gem. Walked in and was quickly greeted by the staff. The interior is a little tight so take out is probably your best option. Menu has your typical kabob dishes with a few added additions. I placed my order and sat ace waited. Now I will say there was a bit of a wait time to get my food but you know a place is good when it's busy. As I was sitting many people came and went either with to go orders or to sit an eat. I absolutely love Afghan food! This is a small neighborhood restaurant nestled in Stafford Marketplace. The staff is small but the wait times are reasonable and everyone is usually friendly. I've eaten inside and ordered takeout. All visits the food is consistently hot, fresh, and delicious. My new found favorite dish is the spicy shrimp kabob with potatoes! Overall the BEST food I have ever had in my life - everything was so fresh, made with care, taste was amazing! I saw reviews of people complaining about prices but for the portion you get - pay it! It's not even expensive! One of the most reasonable meals I've had. 13.95 for a whole chicken kabob, potatoes, naan bread! I also added a side of hummus and naan and a side of sambosas - all came to $29 and will feed me 3-4 time! Overpriced for the quality and quantity. Plus the lamb tasted more like mutton. This was a one and done. And with the new governor increasing taxes on prepared food - it is especially not worth it. Stafford (and 99% of NoVa) in general has basically no restaurants that are worth a stop so much so if they get a Buc-ee's it will be a huge improvement in terms of eating out. read more

Average Afghan food, Bread/Nan is too flat from middle make it hard to eat. White Sauce is extra $0.75 one should come with meal and then they should charge for extra. Platter is flat very less rice. They are very busy. Came to this area since I was in town and upon exciting my car, I noticed an amazing aroma. We realized while heading back to the car, it was kabob. My friend mentioned them and we quickly decided we would eat there. We go back after doing some shopping down the street on our way out of town. We walked in and all of the spices hit us. It was so overwhelming, I couldn't decide what to order. Good thing they had a nice display of what they offered and you could actually see them cooking in the back. I chose K9 which was ground beef & lamb shami and my current chose K10, the super platter. I didn't know until we got in the car and opened our food that mine didn't come with the vegetable kabob. I guess that's the difference in the two meals. Don't make my mistake, get the grilled vegetables as well. Each combination comes with rice, a whole piece of naan, and one side. My meat was tough but my friend said theirs was not. When I heated mine up the next day for lunch, it tenderized so I'm wondering if it was fully cooked when I ordered. Went here on a whim as I got home from work. Ordered online which was nice. I ordered the favorites. Chicken Kabob with chick peas and lamb wrap with the potato's. The chicken was tender and full of great flavor. The chick peas in the sauce are great. Lamb wrap isn't a normal wrap but a nice bread. Great flavors and lamb. Hard to find some tasty lamb these days. It came with a slab of bread I am sure there is a name for it but it was too chewy for my wife but I enjoyed. It was first time here and so glad I chose them over the pizza and the burger place, lol. I had an amazing boneless chicken kabob dish. It's their item no. 1 on the menu. The chicken is very tasty and moist and well cooked. The rice is very good as are the chick peas...I picked the chick peas as my side. Look at this dish..and about the same price as one burger down the block for r one slice of pizza down the block too. Courteous service and you can dine in or takeout. The platter comes with a massive piece of bread and a side salad, along with super flavorful (and slightly spicy) green sauce. I also tried Chapli kabob and they were nothing but the patty form of beef kabobs, also they were super dry. My mother ordered kebab corner on the 6th of October. She found a slimy worm inside her salad. Alive and moving, since then, she's had diarrhea and nonstop vomiting. The location now has new employees, whom do not care about anything. They thought it was a joke when my brother went in to show them the video, then proceeded to blame the people who bring there produce; not their incompetence but someone else. I've been going here for 10 years. I've never experienced something like this is, it's very disheartening and disgusting. Found this spot by chance as I'm a fan of this cuisine. They offer pretty decent portion sizes and they give you a ton of bread. The sauce is really heavy on the vinegar and not much else on flavor. But everything else was pretty okay. I had the chicken which comes with rice and and side. The side I had was spinach. If was ok but no flavor. My family and I were driving around the area for dinner on a rainy day (7/21), and fortunately stumbled upon this place tucked within Stafford Market Place. Outside of a handful of tables, Kabob Corner is mainly a take-out joint. Service was indifferent when we stopped by. FOOD: x2 Kubideh Kabob w/ Chickpeas and Naan ($10.95): The Kubideh were cooked and seasoned well, which made my family happy. Each kebab was tender and flavorful and matched well with the plentiful side of chickpeas. The kebabs are served atop the large piece of bread, which in turn soaks up the juices and seasoning. Speaking of the bread, it was hot and freshly baked when served. The side salad was merely lettuce and tomatoes. Deluxe Kabob Platter w/ Spinach and Naan ($14.95): A classic trifecta of kubideh, chicken, and lamb kabob served with rice, a side salad, bread, and my choice of stewed spinach for my side. All 3 kebabs were tender and seasoned pretty well, but my favorite was (surprisingly) the flavorful chunks of chicken. The kubideh was delicious and cooked well, while the lamb was good but still average at best. I thought the spinach paired well with the kebabs. Although we used almost half of an entire bottle, I personally am not a fan of the green sauce; it's way too mild and watery for my liking. Food is fine for what it is, customer service sucks. They don't answer the phone past 8 even when they close at 9. I drove for 15 minutes trying to place an order on the phone and no answer. I walked in to the store at 8:45, with my phone in hand ringing, while everyone was standing on their cell phones and could clearly hear the phone ringing.
