(Note: this location was previously a Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, and the space was originally one business that was split in half for two separate food places.) This Stafford location marks their fourth in Virginia, and they have approximately 50 locations overall. Ordering can be done on a kiosk or at the counter. The menu includes platters, gyros, and salads, as well as burgers and chicken wings, tenders, or nuggets. For the platters, gyros, and salads, you can choose between chicken, lamb, combo, falafel, kofta, or fish. The platters come with French fries, salad and rice (regular or spicy). They have several sauces including white, hot, green, and barbecue. I ordered the chicken platter, regular rice, salad with no onions, and white sauce on the side. When I tell you that this food was flavorful and the portions are big, man! The chicken was tender and had such great flavor. The "regular" rice was obviously not spicy but was full of flavor (cumin? cardamom? sumac? Whatever they seasoned it with was yummy). The fries were hot, crunchy, and coated with a tasty seasoning. They tasted great by themselves or dipped in the white sauce. The salad is good and was topped with an herbed, diced tomato-cucumber salad and delicious pickled cabbage. I look forward to trying other things on the menu, but it'll have to wait since I have so much food leftover from this platter, enough for at least one more meal but likely 2. :)
