No one answered phone multiple times I called to place an order. Believe this place is closed

I'm not too fond of the bland flavors of Afghan and Persian style kabob houses, which are the majority of the places that call themselves "Kabob" on the sign out front, but recently came here to give them a try. I prefer more robust flavors from Indian and specifically Pakistani food over the "salt & pepper" style seasoning (with turmeric for color) of Afghan food. I tried what they call their Shami kabob, which is actually a seekh kabob. I got a side of chick peas with it. The flavor of the kabob was actually quite nice (for Afghan food). The chick peas were as basic as I would expect from this style of food. Their potatoes looked great, but unfortunately were extremely bland and unflavored. Their naan was pretty good and perfectly baked, so it was slightly crusty while flexible enough to eat with and still flavorful. My preference if for spicier food, so I asked for an extra spicy green sauce. Fortunately, my dish came with their white sauce too. The white sauce had an incredible flavor! So much more flavor than the green sauce, even though the green sauce had slight spice, mostly from the vinegar in it. Their rice looked great and had the appropriate amount of seasoning and flavor you'd expect, regardless of style of Middle Eastern food you're enjoying. Service was excellent! They were very friendly, helpful, accommodating, and even checked on us. The place was pretty clean for a kabob joint as well. Overall, it was a decent visit, but unfortunately for me, it left me wanting more... more spice and depth of flavor. But for the average American, you'd probably really enjoy this place. read more

Came Saturday evening and placed a to go order there were a few orders ahead of us so it was a little bit of a wait but well worth it. I had the chicken and lamb kabob with chickpeas and wow flavor punch! Everything was so well seasoned and I love the chickpeas! My husband normally doesn't care for chickpeas but I had him try mine and he liked them. He got the beef kabob with potatoes and really liked both. I'm excited to try more of the menu while we're here. Also the bread is really nice. read more

Just had the F7 combo at Sultan Kabob and it was outstanding! The lamb and ground beef kabobs were perfectly tender and flavorful, paired with delicious chickpeas, fluffy rice, and fresh naan bread. Everything was cooked to perfection. Great Afghan food--highly recommend! Service was excellent and very accommodating. Worth the visit! read more

Excellent Quality and Fresh Food. Good amount of rice in each order and fresh bread. They use the freshest ingredients. If you really want an authentic Afghan dish try the Uzbeki Qabili, but make sure to request it an hour in advance to make sure they have it. I hope this place makes it, they really did impress us with their food. read more

Came in for lunch with a group of friends. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food came out quick and was absolutely delicious. The lunch specials (we had chicken platters and tandoori chicken wraps) were a great deal as well. Highly recommend. read more

Where to start.... Richly flavorful and savory. The spices are well balanced and compliment the dishes instead of competing with them. The boneless chicken kabobs were incredibly juicy given the tandoori cooking method (which can dry out the meats). Hands down the best chicken kabobs I've had, here and abroad. The saffron and other spices used to flavor the chicken, rice, etc were just the right amount of "pungent" that enhanced without overpowering. The chick peas were savory with a nice slight hint of zest and tanginess. The naan is dairy free and made with a blend of flours. Sizeable, made to order, and thicker than what you'd find at other restaurants. The falafel was crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside and not dry. The place is well maintained; a large window looks into the orderly and clean food prep and cooking area. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. Accommodating for food allergies and great vegan/vegetarian options. Prices are reasonable and potions the same. Will absolutely make this a regular place. Best Afghani food in the region. read more
