Hands down the best Middle Eastern Food in the Riverside/Corona/ Inland empire area. The kabobs are so tender and juicy, order the beef barg and the chicken shish kebab. Very soft, moist and tender meat. I met the owner who is a super cool guy and he was really friendly. The staff is very nice and the food here is MUCH CHEAPER than other persian places. The appetizers were only like 5 bucks each, eggplant borani, must o kheyar and torshi. Most other persian places charge 8-10 bucks for those types of appetizers. The staff was really nice and the meat is 100% halal (kosher for muslims) The rice was buttery, soft and very good. I am used to the many persian restaurants in Irvine, West LA and the San Fernando Valley, but I must admit the food here at Kabob hutt is right up there with the best of the best. The decor is more of a fast food Cafe type place and not a fancy restaurant to take a date (they even have a drive thru!) If you are expecting a super fancy restaurant, this is not some persian palace, but more of a nice cafe place to get good food. The drive is a bit far from me, but I do visit some friends out in Diamond Bar and Chino hills and whenever I go I try to make the trip to Kabob Hutt in Corona. FIrst of all, what is up with the double Ts? Kabob HuTT? This is a serious typo here ... the "UTT" makes me think "Kebob Butt" instead of "Hutt." Speaking of booty, I think this is the category that the food goes into. I've eaten here three times and every time the food gets worse. I don't know what they have going on in the kitchen but someone hire the old cook back. The koobideh and the beef and chicken kebabs lack a certain spicy zestiness to them. The meat and the rest of the dishes are under-seasoned, and I have to question the freshness. Because the other day we got served an entree that looked like it had been sitting out half the afternoon ... and it wasn't even hot when it came to the table. Now, I am not a super picky person and I hate sending things back because I don't like being "that girl." Updating my review after having a poor experience with this establishment. I went in for dinner and the restaurant floors were dirty, the bathroom was filthy and then while I was eating my food I saw two cockroaches scurry across the floor. I couldn't finish my food. I went online and found out that they were shut down in April due to a cockroach infestation. They have received 'B' ratings from the Health Department multiple times. I won't be going back here because they clearly cannot manage to keep their restaurant clean. There are multiple other options that aren't run down. Overall this place needs some serious attention from management. This is by far my favorite chicken kabob! Unfortunately, the only place I know is in CORONA--near my parents house. The chicken is flavorful and moist---not dry, too seasoned, and not cooked to burnt status. The rice is long grain and buttery--not too oily and not dry to cause asphyxation (choke). The yogurt with cucumber is okay--it is more yogurt based and less cucumber (personally my preference). I am not a cucumber fan. The steak kabob is moist, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Just don't do it. I ordered to go and the guy told me the lunch bowl portion was 4 oz of meat (their menu says the same). I came home to find that there was barely any meat in my bowl. My boyfriend pulled out the food scale and we weighed it at a whopping 1.6 oz of meat. I paid $10.99 for 1.6 oz of meat over rice. I got my boyfriend the filet mignon plate and the guy told me it's double the size of the 4 oz bowls. Well my boyfriend just weighed it and it came out to 5 oz. $18.99 for that plate. The food is always fresh and extremely tasty here. The service is friendly but because of the freshly prepared food, you might have to wait a little for your food sometimes if there's a crowd. I've been coming here for years since it opened with co-workers. It's a nice change from all the fast food places in the area, and has great healthy options. I've tried many different grilled meats here and they've all been juicy, tender, and nicely marinated with lots of flavor. My favorites are chicken, lamb, and the filet mignon kabob. They're typically served with a huge portion of rice, but you can substitute it with half salad and half rice for $2 extra. There is a lunch menu that offers sandwiches, salads, smaller portion plates and more. I think it's a great deal for the kind of fresh food you get here. I've also learned that you can upgrade your rice to have additional ingredients like berries, raisins, and nuts. You can also upgrade your salads. I've also seen people change their entree meat combination to half chicken half beef instead of both chicken. I love that they're flexible and don't mind the hassle. Another great thing is their eggplant appetizer dish. It's mixed with yogurt and garlic and it is amazing. I can eat the whole thing with rice and that's it. As I mentioned earlier, depending on the crowd, you might have to wait a little so make sure you don't come here when you're in a hurry, or call ahead to place your order. The restaurant is pretty spacious so I've seen (and been in) many group lunches here and it's always great because of the nice ambiance and the variety of choices on the menu. read more

Came here because my family could not stop talking about this place. Apparently they have this new obsession with Persian food, and so I agreed to go with them on a weeknight for dinner. They have a drive-thru, but we came in and sat inside for our meal. I had the chicken kabob and had bites of their salmon and beef kabobs. They were all tender, juicy, and flavorful. Usually I find saffron rice to be too dry for my liking but their saffron rice was the best I've ever had! The plates are large and in charge, and I was thankful that I couldn't finish my meal and got to bring the other half of it home to enjoy later. Service was decent and the decor inside is old-world charming. You can bring your family or a date here. I can't wait to come back on the weekends for Belly Dancing night. read more

Went here on personal recommendation expecting Persian fast food because of the location and former businesses in the space, and entered a nice restaurant with delicious food. A might over-smell of bleach, but it didn't takeaway from the better aromas coming from the kitchen! The Kabob Filet Mignon melted in my mouth -- I mean the best piece of meat I have had in awhile! In combo with the chicken and their fantastic rice, it was memorable and I will be coming back. My girlfriend and I went to this place as a spontaneous date night place and saw the reviews were in between so we had to try it for our selves. We arrived to the place only to be ignored for 5 mins and then finally greeted, and was told we will be helped shortly... Another 5 mins go by, then another 5 and not one glance over to us while we were sitting and standing by the counter. I finally had to speak up a bit to get the attention of one of the workers. Asked us what we need, like we were just waiting here for nothing. After another 10 minutes of waiting we finally were seated in the patio... With 5 tables open and available????? We were brought cold tortilla and Cold butter... I Don't know Persian food but how the heck do you expect cold butter to be spread onto a cold tortilla??? Took another 5 mins to be questioned about drink and my lady asked for Iced Tea, and they brought here Hot Tea ... After this we just played are drinks and left. Didn't even say sorry or apologize for the inconvenience. Bad customer service... I hear the food is great too. Oh well. Delicious. We ordered the chicken Koobideh, chicken strip, and beef koobideh wrap with cherry rice. All were fantastic and fresh. The hummus was excellent as was the cucumber mint yogurt. We don't reside near the restaurant, but this place takes down all of the Persian places we have tried in Orange County. We will be driving here to pick up food going forward when we want high quality, delicious Persian food. The service was also exceptional.
