Let's just start off by saying the food is great, always made fresh, and the best flavored I have found anywhere in the riverside/corona area. Definitely a diamond in the rough...Now, I have eaten REAL Persian food, and this is as close as it gets for this area. Orange County is a different story...but that's not what this review is about. I do wish they had some of the traditional options for Persian food like the brown rice with lamb chunks raisins and carrots (my favorite ever) but I can't find this anywhere... I love the basmati rice, chicken, the stews, the ground beef, and the mastokhier (yogurt with cucumber and mint) here. I have told many friends and family about this place. Yes the drive thru is a park thru. But I don't see it saving any time to communicate over the speaker because it does take 10-15 minutes depending on what you order to have it made. But I'm ok with that because like I said everything is FRESHLY MADE and HOT my go to choice is the #15 but I change the ground chicken to ground beef. I have been in one time to sit and eat when I had poor service but that was probably the waitress having a bad day. Well she's gone now don't know if she got fired or what but every time since has been nice. The atmosphere is beautiful for a hole in the wall looking place, the belly dancer is a nice touch. And things are always clean enough that I feel good about coming here. (I'm picky about cleanliness). I do prefer the drive thru mainly because I'm a mother of 3, and I usually bring this home for a healthy take out option that my husband and kids always loves. So I just got my food and I'm hungry....if you get a chance Try it, trust me you will love it! Good time to go is lunch and dinner, but only dinner time has the entertainment. read more

I always get the chicken koobideh and I would have to say it's amazing! Definitely the best persian restaurant I know. I usually am really picky when it comes to meat being cooked and I'll have to say they do a great job! Love the chicken koobideh more than the beef koobideh. read more

The waitress was nice but I think she was by herself, so service was super slow. The back patio is convenient and nice..you don't have to walk through the restaurant in order to leave. Love the food here! Huge portions. A little wait for the food but it's worth it! I usually order ahead of time before leaving work. It takes 15-20 minutes to make since they are an actual restaurant, not fast food. Pick up through drive through window! This place is pretty much my favorite restaurant in Corona. Food is excellent and reasonably priced. I always get the Chicken Tender with Borani for an appetizer. Typically never crowded and service is reliably good. Location and decor is sub-par, but you can't have it all when it comes to Corona cuisine. read more

I only ever order take out from here. I love the food. There is usually a young man who takes my phone order and gives me the order via the drive through. Please give him a raise, he seems to be in a perpetual bad mood each time I see him. Otherwise, the food is just so awesome. Some of the best kabobs in town. 2nd time in this place, we live nearby and wife was craving Persian food. It's alright, it's not Open Sesame, but it is Persian food as far as meat and rice go! Hummus is great though, lamb shish is also good but the waitress screwed my order up, instead of 2 lamb skewers, I got 1 lamb and 1 veg, I didn't mind, need to eat more veg!!! Wife had chicken kebab which was alright too. Ordered a bottle of Shiraz Smoking Loon, got a Shiraz Jacobs Creek as they had ran out, wasn't told this until it came to the table though, opened! If I could I would give 0 starts to this place. I had an order for a pick up and the quality of food was terrible and they forgot to give me the side dish I had asked for even though they charged me for It. I call back to ask about it and they say we can give the credit back to you and don't even apologize. I've been to this place multiple times due to the close proximity but definitely this will be he last time. Don't recommend this to place to anybody. Avoid if you can. Ordered food for pick up over the phone. I was told it would take 20 minutes. I got to the restaurant 30 minutes later and had to wait another 20 minutes because the food wasn't ready. I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. I always drive by and smells so good. My husband and I just went on Friday. I visited their website and found out they have live music and belly dancing on Fridays. Music at 6 and belly dancing at 8pm. We arrived around 7:30 so that we could watch the show. Come 8:00 and no show. The nan-e lavash was cold. I had to request from the server if they could warm up my nan-e lavash. The food was great but the service was not so great. I would recommend you update your website to reflect the correct times for music and belly dancing. read more

We have been going to Kabob Hut for 5 years. It is by far my most favorite restaurant! I must have the eggplant stew every time. They have done a lot to cuten up an older building that was a fast food place. Food is excellent better then the Persian rest. that we would drive to the OC for. Horrible never going back like another yelper said you can get better tasting chicken at Pollo Loco for more then half the price. I paid $32 for 2 kabob plates that were all rice and 1 skewer each that had basically all bell pepper and onion with hardly any chicken. They give you a bag with a old tortilla bread and a old nasty piece of onion wrapped in plastic, that will give you food poisoning. They ran out of hummus no garlic sauce, no chili sauce and they want to charge extra for everything. The Customer Service was not good, I was so disappointed with the food I forgot about my $60 bucks in change. The only good thing is that she ran out and handed it to me. For the value minded, this is the best kebab restaurant in the Inland Empire. Their beef and chicken koobideh is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Their house salad is great and the hummus is mixed perfectly. The lamb is so-so and kinda tough. I would've given them a 4 star if they improve their service. Their menu is priced right for this type of food. I would come here more often if it wasn't for the nightmare 91 fwy construction that seems to never end. read more

Prepped by previous positive Yelp reviews, my Armenian wife and I were excited for a good Persian food restaurant, and to that, Kabob the Hutt delivered. Location: They're in an odd location, behind some automotive workshops, and its not a flashy building or anything, but still cozy inside. Food: Fantastic Food, and very traditional. You know its good when the local Persian/Lebanese/Armenian families are the ones already dining. I recommend the Pickled Vegetables appetizer, and Lamb Kabob - fantastic. Oh, and there are a few 'American' dishes on the menu too in case someone is your party is not culturally exploratory. The cost point wasn't too expensive, though slightly more than I was expecting. But hey, have you ever tried to buy saffron? That junk is expensive by itself. It is a sit down restaurant, where a waiter/waitress takes your order and serves you. This was my only qualm with the restaurant actually, the lack of service. We were approached by the waitress three times only through the course of the entire dinner: Appetizers/Drink Order, Main Course Order, Bill. Perhaps shorthanded that night, I'm not sure, but we were never approached even to refill our water, ask how our food was, anything.
