    The Sashimi Set

Really tasty and convenient! I ordered the sashimi set by texting the sushi fella number and was able to pay two days in advance. The owner also checked up on me before the pickup time. His wife helped made the pickup easy for me. Looking forward to ordering from them again!

Love it!! Maciasan is such a nice guy. Super easy to order. We ordered the double set and it did not disappoint. Was ready at the requested time, and pick up was easy. The way it was arranged was beautiful and every piece had a wonderfully complex flavor. Another reviewer mentioned the fish being no better than any other restaurant around here. As someone who's lived here the majority of their adult life and comes from a seafood family, the fish used is by far better than what you get in most restaurants in the area (in my humble and experienced opinion). The taste of the fish is incredibly smooth and delectable, and not at all "fishy". I also LOVED the seaweed on the platters, it was delicious. There was a salmon roll that had an orange/citrus flavor to it. All in all, a fantastic quantity of sushi with equally fantastic quality. This will be the only place I get sushi from now on. Thank you, Maciasan :)

My big sister surprised me for my birthday with this platter from sushi fella. It was amazing and reasonably priced. Best of all we got to enjoy it in the comfort of our own home. I'll definitely order from him again. If you're a sushi and sashimi lover ...try it!

So you love sushi. When is the last time you were surprised and delighted by sushi? Most restaurants strive for novelty through strange roll combinations that taste like a mishmash of unrelated flavors. Sushi Fella is your rare opportunity to discover something different, creative, innovative -- and also delicious. We had so many distinctive flavors to explore. Everything was meticulously prepared and beautifully presented. I so enjoyed it! My dad was surprised that the quality of the fish wasn't much better than some of the restaurants around here. I have to agree. The whole "solve for Instagram" aspect of this business doesn't mean you're getting a secret connection to better or fresher fish. Instead you're getting access to a creative chef who wouldn't fit in at any of those formulaic restaurants.

It's been tough trying to find QUALITY sushi in the Jackson Heights area- but now it's never been closer and convenient with Sushi Fella. I was hesitant due to the price and the fact that this wasn't a store front- but from word of mouth and so many positive reviews, I took a chance to celebrate a birthday with the set for 2. There's a reason why there's so many positive reviews and Instagramable photos - you have your high end manhattan-feel sushi at your finger tips now. If you didn't feel the love from the flowers or garnishes, you certainly feel it when you realize your sushi sits on a big ol' leaf and your ginger is in a paper boat. Presentation and eating with your eyes is a major part of this journey. I will admit the rolls weren't my favorite (a little too salty for my personal taste) but they still tasted fresh and certainly well made. The nigiri def. is 5x better than the nigiri you get from the other local sushi restaurants. To top it all off Sushi Fella, is a really nice fella! Call or text in your order a day before to secure it (you can order same day as well; I happened to order mine on Labor Day and I'm sure he had plenty of orders but managed to squeeze mine in same day ). Definitely will be ordering again!!

Interesting concept and immaculate sushi! I got The Killer delivered to Boca and it was a top notch platter with some unique options I hadn't tried before. Expert attention and skill to the sushi as well (no funky cuts or loose rolls even good sushi restaurants will give you). Definitely better than nearly all takeout/delivery sushi with some pretty solid value for what you get. I'll certainly be ordering again.

The sushi is bomb!!! I appreciated the attention to detail on each piece. The fish was scored which is definitely a pro move. Everything tasted fresh. The rice was cooked perfectly. I will admit I was suspect of this to go sushi option but this is the first time I have ever gotten to go sushi and it tasted as if I got it fresh at the restaurant! Solid

What a gem, The reviews and pictures looked so good. As a sushi fanatic, I had to give this place a try. The chef was super sweet and accommodating when I placed my order the day of. The order was packed with care, the decorations made the experience eating at home that much nicer. For $44, you get 6 rolls and 4 pieces of sushi. The rolls range from vegetarian, to salmon avo, tuna, yellowtail etc. Great size, great ratio of rice to fish- each bite was packed with so many different flavors that worked. Excited to go back and try their sushi/sashimi set. So glad I tried this, check this place out!!

If I could give more than five stars, I would. This is takeout only. Pickup or delivery. This was my first time ordering. When I got home and opened the bag, I was absolutely stunned. Way better than I expected. The presentation was just beautiful. Everything was so fresh and absolutely delicious. I'm a huge salmon fan, so I was happy to see my order had plenty of salmon in it. I now realize how generic all the other sushi restaurants really are. Even my favorites. This is my new go to! All this for $52.00!!!

We ordered the Fiesta Kit.... Probably meant for four but there were only two of us and we devoured it! We are new to the area and Maciej was so nice and helped me navigate the menu. A little extra effort of ordering in advance, but you absolutely will not be disappointed.

    Double Set

First, let me say that I am not really a raw fish person--but WOW, Sushi Fella far exceeded my expectations! We enjoyed a variety of delicious flavors, FRESH sushi rolls/nigiri, and a beautiful presentation. My husband and I ordered the double set and we came close, but we couldn't finish it all. We will be back!

There are simply no words for how amazing the ordering process, service, delivery, and food was. The hit of our New Year's party!

Our first experience with Sushi Fella was a week ago- NYE! The service and sushi made such an impact on us that here we are, a week later with another order. WOW! The service, communication, quality of fish and rolls are outstanding! NYE we ordered The Killer. Tonight we ordered The Fiesta! Both times we we stuffed and satisfied. It's literally a feast for the eyes before you've even had your first taste. Welcome to Florida, Sushi Fella!

Not sure what the hype is. Quality is great but variety slim. An overwhelming amount of salmon and lack of variety.

I was served both pieces here and I loved it. Another enjoyable course is the wagyu uni bite. The only thing I had a slight feeling on while dining here is that I came in on a promotion. It said that we each would get a free craft cocktail. The ad even had pictures of their cute cups. When we got here, two different individuals told us that our meal came with a sake shot that the whole table would get. This was far from what was advertised and we were disappointed. But speaking on just the food and service - we were satisfied with our lunch here.

They have nicely decorated section with fake Bansai trees and pebbles. Looks beautiful and clean. There are couple of other trees spaced out throughout the restaurant. The service was a little slow even though we were the only table there at the time. We ordered green teas, hamachi jalapeño app, and 4 rolls to try (green dragon, Hokkaido, sexy crunch, and sweet potato curry). The rolls were generously portioned (expect to pay $25-30 for specialty rolls), the visuals looked pretty decent (served on a small boat), but the flavors were on the bland side for me. The green tea was little too flavorful. The individual pieces of the rolls were little too big than what we were used to. The sushi rice was wet and there was too much rice used for the rolls. But maybe some customers who are used to this might prefer this style more than what I prefer personally. Out of the four rolls, in our opinion, the most unique one was the sweet potato curry roll. It's very different than the traditional rolls you will find at other sushi restaurants. Overall the experience wasn't bad. I might visit again next time just to make sure. But after the first time visit, I am a bit hesitant to recommend this place to others with certainty. Sushi Bang bang is located in a plaza that is hard to find from outside so make sure to follow your GPS. They offer some parking spaces in the plaza where they are located. But, it can be a little pricey, and the service is pretty slow. I feel that the restaurant, as well as Brandon's and the bar (where you can also order your sushi), is all understaffed. When we arrived at the bar at 3:30 there was one lady working behind the bar, and she was also running to the restaurant (Brandon's) to wait on people! So it's difficult to give people much attention when you're stretched so thin. We came back after 7 (they don't open until 5pm) to have dinner. I ordered the shrimp "handy". It's tempura shrimp wrapped in white rice paper, with rice and avocado. It was delicious!!! I was going to share with my hubby but it was so good! Sorry honey! My husband had the miso soup. It had A LOT of green onions in it. I like that, but he didn't. Then we shared the sashimi platter. It's 20 pieces of sashimi with a roll (wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber). It was the perfect amount for 2 people to share. We were both full afterwards. Every piece was perfect. It had 4 pieces of tuna, 4 of salmon, yellowtail, and wahoo. I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, my husband had a Moscow mule. They were both excellent. Then we had the salted caramel gelato for dessert. A 20% gratuity is automatically included. Our bill was $180 altogether.
