No longer acceptable. I have been very passive about items I ordering arriving different menu descriptions but enough if enough. Today I ordered the hawaiian, kentucky derby and bentley rolls. All 3 were incorrect (see pictures). Chicken , yes chicken, was substituted for shrimp tempura and completely missing in bentley roll. Two were almost identical with hawaiian missing seaweed salad, avocado and both missing the fish beyond the albacore that is torched on top. On top of that, the freshness is gone. This really, really upsets me as I have been your biggest fan and pushed so many to try your location, not to mention the seemingly once a week patronage I have give you for years. Hate to say it, this will be my last time eating here and I would implore others to be very cautious of ordering here in the future. Never again. We have only been here twice counting tonight. We went years ago (more than 5), and my husband liked it, but I wasn't a fan. Tonight was his birthday and he wanted to try it again. Big mistake. Ordered a Combo 4 for him and our son to share, then a spicy cali and chicken fried rice for me. Combo 4 came out with more puréed salmon, krab, and rice than anything. Basically and bunch of California rolls with a little bit of sashimi on top, none of which looked appealing. My "spicy" cali was SWEET, like too sweet. Not at all spicy and had the consistency of cat food. I choked down 2 pieces and pushed it away. My chicken fried rice tasted like scorched popcorn, so not sure how that happened. Needless to say, $86 later and I'm just praying the Nothing Bundt Cake I'm eating for supper now doesn't end up becoming a victim of those two slices of cali roll and three bites of popcorn rice. Got my usual tempura udon soup and it was perfect as always. Fresh, bouncy, chewy udon in a clean light broth, fresh onions and yummy fishcakes. All of the tempura was fresh and just kissed with a thin layer of crispy batter. My crunch roll was delicious and huge as always and the SO loved his spicy dumpling ramen. Amazing sushi! The chef makes every roll to order. He didn't mind crafting my order to include cream cheese, which I love, and exclude avocado, which I hate. I've never been to a place who works like that. It's got a small interior, but don't let that turn you away. The only negative part of my experience was the bobas in my boba tea seemed soggy, or like they were boiled far too long. Okay so first off... the staff here was beyond rude. Every single request that was made was responded to with an eyeroll or an underbreath groan. Literally acted like it was such a hassle for us to walk in the door at 8:30, when they don't close til 9:30. We're from out of town, this was the closest sushi restaurant to our hotel... The appetizers were "okay" but incorrect, as I requested to add crabmeat to the top of the calamari with eel sauce, and the calamari arrived with crabmeat on the side and a white mayo sauce. But then the entrees arrived... my baked yellowtail roll was significantly overcooked, as well as with cream cheese added for some reason (HOT CREAM CHEESE!!! why?!?!). My daughter had ordered a baked salmon roll and was brought a roll with raw salmon and cream cheese. My other daughter ordered a Korean beef dish (K2)and the beef was rubbery, noodles were overcooked and gooey. We were never asked about how our food was. After waiting a few minutes for any of the people employed there to pay our table some attention, I finally requested our check from the overly sullen and angry young lady who was working hardest at trying to ignore us (for reference, she was very nice to the other two tables in there at the same time but directly nothing but rude to us). When I gave her my card, she asked if I had cash... No, we didn't. Then she returned and asked if we had a check. I responded, "no, I don't have my checkbook with me," She walked away and didn't return. I deduced that their card reader was down, and a few minutes later, I heard the owner/manager tell another customer such, but we were never informed as such. We waited and sat for about 20 minutes and watched as other customers with to go orders were given items "on the house". However we were given nothing, again, never asked how our meal was when two out of three of our meals sat completely uneaten with only a bite or two tasted out of the plates. After the extensive wait, my card was swiped. The server didn't return my itemized receipt, and when I requested it, she both rolled her eyes and groaned at me. As someone who served for YEARS, I've never been in a position that I haven't left the server a dime. However tonight, I left the server with a "tip": "Try smiling and not rolling your eyes at your customers." I have never experienced such blatant rudeness paired with terrible food. read more

So glad I found a new go-to-for-sushi-place, since I recently moved to north Bossier and this truly was a concern of mine. We had house salad, miso soup, the crunch roll and a sweet potato roll. Kabuki is one of our favorite sushi restaurants we've ever been to. Their rolls are massive and they use huge, fresh cuts of fish. Ordered a baked lobster roll and it came out fried with insane amount of Mayo on it too after I returned it I was told to not complain about my next one. Idk who these people think they are? Very rude. Make the food wrong then rude when you point it out. I would never let the main chef touch the food I'm eating ever again. Spicy tuna roll was very low quality and poor presentation. We really like their sushi and frequently get to go orders. They sometimes change the order or don't get it correct, but that happens. Today we decided to eat in. One soda and two waters. The waiter comes out with the soda two water bottles. When we ask why there is no tap water he claims it is broken and the bottles will be $2/each. I love local places and try to support small businesses. I don't like feeling deceived and cheated. If you are unable to serve clean water to drink the restaurant should not be open, if you only serve water bottles your customers should be made aware when they order. Integrity matters and it seems that they were being less than honest. We will not return. read more
