Enjoyed the Mantou (ground beef dumplings), Bolani (fried bread filled with leeks & herbs), and Chicken kabob & rice. The Saffron tea, and Cardamom pudding were also nice. Friendly family owned local shop, restaurant and grocer. Also bought a cardamom, rose, milky dessert here which I loved. Similar to halva but better.

Fantastic food! Absolutely bursting with flavor! Large portions, excellent service! They even brought us out two free samples. Very friendly service, would highly recommend, will be going back!

Located in a rough part of town, for $20 I got 2 pounds of rice, a bit of mediocre salad from Walmart, slice of pita, and a 1/4 pound of decent lamb. I noticed people eating "for here" inside had much bigger portions. Still hungry. Way over priced, over rated and Under delivered. Also keep in mind they charge 4% extra for using a credit card. Service was nice at the front counter but misleading. Previous reviews mentioned generous meat portions however they cut me short just because I ordered to go.

One of the excellent kabob I've in town!!! Grilled chicken with yellow ginger power were tasty, crispy n delicious!!! It's an authentic kabob cuisine!!! Vegetables and green spicy sauce were so freshly and cold enough!!! I added some soda, it's a perfect match!!!

Under the bright lights of a very clean store, there are tables and put on those tables is some of the best Middle Eastern food in town. It's down the street from home which is always a plus, first we had the Bolani Gandana a leek stuffed turnover which was amazing cooked perfectly and who doesn't love leeks. The Bajan Barani, which is eggplant cooked perfectly with naan, I could not stop eating, it was cooked to perfection and the oil was perfect for dipping. We also shared a chicken kebab and it was nice and tender. What was the best was that when I walked through the kitchen to the bathroom, the kitchen was so clean and the family working there were so nice. This is a place I can go back again and again and again!!!!

I think this place is one of the hidden gems of dining experience in Tucson. Friendly people and the owner came to greet our group and explained some items to us. The yogurt drink had a shredded cucumber and mint on it, I loved it. I also tried a stuffed flat bread with meet and potatoes and leaks, it was freshly baked. This place is a restaurant and a store of Middle Eastern groceries. The walls show the beauty of Afghanistan's nature and culture.

I decided to try this place out with my friends last night and definitely had a great meal! The restaurant is very small, with a few tables, and is also a small market. Two of us ordered the Chicken Kabob, one person got the Teka Kabob (lamb) and one person got the Banjun Burani (fried eggplant). The portions are generous! The naan that came with our meals was a little dry for our liking, though we still ate it. However, the food itself was delicious! The chicken was perfectly tender and seasoned, and the rice had a great flavor! As the restaurant is more casual, and primarily about the food, the service is a little lacking. If you need more water or a box you will likely have to ask directly. Despite this, the food is great and I would definitely come back to try more!

We got the chicken kabobs delivered this time. They are still excellent and highly recommended! There were several pieces of chicken, and lots and lots of rice, enough for a second round tomorrow. There was also a small salad and naan that came with the kabobs, rounding the meal out beautifully.

This is a small business and it's a market and has a tiny dining room area. They have products from Afghanistan which really look so good! They have cakes that look really amazing! I was not able to get one because they are huge and it's a commitment. Service was good, two men working the counter and one working the kitchen. Food is freshly cooked and very delicious!

Slivers of moist seasoned chicken with 2 sides and warm pitas. Again have not veered from the 2 sides either, smoky baba ghanouj and silky smooth hummus over fries or side salad. Hubby is also stuck on his Gyro Deluxe $15.75 with Greek Salad. Has the most balanced dressing, just oily & tart enough but a tad sweet. Asked the owner, Reyna who is a delight btw, that I had met on our 2nd visit what exactly was in it...simply oil & vinegar turns out, the latter being Apple Cider not Red Vinegar..aha, the slight sweet. The menu has the Middle Eastern go-tos that we ordered but read along and discover it leans Jordanian and is quite extensive with family platters and stews. Notably too, their bar stocks several Middle Eastern beers, that we still need to pop. Dining Room is fairly small with a few tables and wall painted murals, and a couple of outdoor tables on the walkway in too. Unassuming location in the back of the strip mall, with ATL Wings and Peter Piper Pizza, across from Park Place Mall. Be sure to nav it here for fantastic Middle Eastern fare and maybe discover some new Jordanian dishes too...I'm working on it haha!

I ordered the Jasmine milk tea with panacotta and boba, and we shared a mango tiramisu. We were both happy with our drinks. The panacotta is a great topping and the boba was fresh, even later in the evening. The mango tiramisu was a perfect treat. It had a jello‑like topping with fresh mango pieces, and the creamy moist bites were delicious. I really enjoyed the consistency and flavor. We played checkers while we hung out. I would love to come back to try more teas and desserts. I definitely want to try the waffle because it smelled amazing. There are plenty of places to sit and everything was very clean. It felt very athleisure and laidback with FP Movement, a yoga studio, and coffee shops around. Very much my vibe. We accidentally walked into REN Coffeehouse first. It was crowded with a long line and had fewer baked goods. It was more a lunch spot with an expansive menu. Once I realized the bakery was next door, we walked over and found it tucked into a beautiful courtyard. The space is gorgeous with lots of greenery, a big tree, and plenty of tables. People were enjoying a slow, relaxed morning. Bakery by Ren itself is smaller, much less crowded, and had no line when we went. There was a great selection of baked goods including assorted croissants, muffins, cookies, kolaches, and more. We ordered the ham and cheese quiche, which they heated up and tasted great. The orange cranberry loaf was so delicious with a bright citrusy flavor and big cranberry bits. The icing was slightly on the sweet side, but so addicting. I also ordered a hot matcha latte and you can add flavors like lavender or vanilla for an additional charge. They also offer several alternative milk options. Matcha itself wasn't amazing, but it did the job. I picked up a bag of Presta coffee beans and received a free cup of coffee. They also offer a 3.5% discount when paying with cash. Saving this spot for the next time I'm back in Tucson!

Rich, bold mocha with a little cayenne kick that gave it just enough spice without overpowering the coffee. Definitely something I would order again. I tried the Breakfast Croissant, and honestly, this was the star of the show for this visit! Fresh tomato, avocado, pickled onions, egg, cheese and chipotle mayo piled onto a fluffy croissant made for an incredible breakfast that was filling without being heavy. The chipotle mayo was delicious, although I would probably go a little lighter on it next time because it caused things to get a bit slippy slidey. The space itself is very welcoming. It feels cozy enough for catching up with a friend, but there is also plenty of room to pull a few tables together if you are meeting with a slightly bigger group. They also have a really cool patio that I did not get a chance to check out, so clearly I already have an excuse to come back. It was pretty busy when I visited, which made complete sense once I tasted everything. Service was great, and the woman at the register was incredibly helpful and welcoming.
