My apologies to the readers, I forgot to take pictures of my biscuits and gravy, with a side of scrambled eggs, but they were prepared excellently, with a sausage gravy that was flavorful but not overwhelming. A biscuit that was light but dense enough to hold the gravy. My eggs were scrambled but still moist. My lack drip coffee was refilled more than once, hot, and had a robust balanced flavor. My guest really enjoyed their Eggs Benedict, and they were delighted that the staff even accommodated a special request to cut their food into bite sized pieces, due to a physical disability. When the cut up eggs Benedict was served, it looked clean, planned, and professional. The kitchen's pride in presentation was clear to see, even when accommodating a special request. Its been a while since I've eaten here. I met a friend for breakfast today. This establishment is clean, no frills, friendly diner atmosphere. The service was fast and friendly. I tried their eggs Benedict and won't repeat. The eggs were overcooked and the holindaise was lackluster with too much lemon. The potatoes were good. The lemon blueberry crêpes is a new offering, temporary, one can only hope it remains on the menu permanently. This is a delicious blend of lemon and blueberry and cream cheese, the crêpe has a hint of lemon in addition to lemon in the cream cheese, but it's not overpowering. The blueberry I'm guessing drizzle with the added blueberries on top mix very well. One word, delicious! Just breakfast better keep this on the menu!! read more

Always happy to visit Just Breakfast! They are located next door to Home Plate and share bathrooms with that establishment. Today I had the Avocado toast with a side of turkey sausage. Everything was fresh and delicious! Service was good, but it is definitely a diner vibe where you eat and leave, rather than stay to chat. Coffee is also very good! Its a little hard to wait inside because its full of tables and no place to wait, so that's a little uncomfortable just standing there waiting for someone to get up so you can grab a table. A diner in a strip mall, north of Ina on Silverbell. This place is a great example of how focusing on one thing really works well. Really good breakfast. Great service. Lots of things to choose from. I have been here twice, and twice I've had a basic breakfast. Sometimes a simple meal prepared well is as good as it gets for me. I would love to give 5 stars. Decided to go with these two based on what everyone else was eating. Chicken Fried Steak was good, and the gravy is better than average. Home Fries seasoned well, just a little to thick for my taste. Huevos Rancheros was dissapointing. Asked for eggs over easy, no runny yolk at all. Had we known the amount of meat you get for the extra $2, we would have ordered double. What you see in the pic is all that was included. Every other plate of huevos rancheros we saw was completely different than what we got. The place was clean and our waitress was nice. Breakfast is my favorite meal. Always looking for a new place to try out. I ordered blueberry pancakes with a side of bacon. My food was great and looked like everyone else's was too. Here are the areas for improvement that caused me to give them only 3 stars. Service. I went on a busy Saturday morning. I think they need more servers. My food came quickly but the helper girl look dumbfounded when I asked for syrup to go with my pancakes. No one checked back to see how I was doing. Had to go to counter to ask for my bill. We were here once a few years ago and we had a good experience. This time tho, husband ordered a burrito bowl, it was TINY!!!!!! It came in a tiny little bowl with mushed together stuff in it, not at all presented to look appetizing and was only a few bites for $10. The other things we ordered were so much bigger so that was confusing. Also I got the eggs Benedict and the eggs were raw. Very raw. The whites not cooked all the way even. The food is great--they have a wide selection of breakfast items and I typically get their early bird special (if we get here before 8) which consists of 2 eggs, meat of your choice and toast all for $4. After 8, this meal costs $9. It's one of the best breakfast deals in town. The huevos rancheros is also really good and their pancakes are excellent. Service is always top notch. Super friendly and fast. Also love the interior--there's a great mural on the wall of our beautiful Sonoran desert, replete with its special desert creatures. They have a few TVs and one is always showing photos of birds or stars. My daughter is always fascinated by these pictures. Truthfully more like a 3 1/2 star rating, only shy of a four. My mother and I tried this restaurant for the first time today and we both really enjoyed our meals. She got the build your own omelette which for its price cannot be beat and was cooked to perfection. I got bacon, hash browns, and a cinnamon roll. The bacon was crispy and good quality. The hash browns had a nice crunch to them. The cinnamon roll was a tad bit disappointing, but with that being said I am super picky with my cinnamon rolls and like more cinnamon than the average Joe. Server was very friendly and made good conversation. I will say, I'm not sure if it was the time we came but service was on the tad slow side for not being very busy at all and didn't get a water refill. Very clean establishment and cute mural on the inside. If you're looking for a nice mix between diner classics and more interesting items Just Breakfast might be just for you. I arrived at 6:45am on Thursday, inside I found 4 other couples, not busy, seat yourself , diner style. I was approached quickly by a waiter who offered a menu & I told him I already knew what I wanted. Early Bird Special, Water, no ice, Food arrived quickly & well presented. English muffins had a healthy portion of butter which I enjoyed. Eggs were served as I requested over easy. $2 more for Hash browns which were a perfect mix of crispy & soft. Side of pico de gallo on the eggs made it all come together. Waiter was friendly, attentive & polite. He seemed to enjoy his work. No complaints whatsoever, I can't quite give it a 5 star review mostly because of the TV. You can easily sit facing the other direction if you don't want to watch whatever programming is on. Great place for breakfast. Good food and friendly service. Two things to note: 1. Pay attention to your bill, sometimes they accidentally charge for something you didn't order or they might charge for substitutions. They're happy to correct any mistakes. No hassles. 2. Also, one of the wait staff - Taylor, really nice girl and good server - wears an obnoxious amount of perfume. It overwhelms the flavor of your breakfast and lingers even after you leave the restaurant. Anyone who's spent time in the food service industry knows that perfume, especially strong perfume and cologne, is a Bozo No-No when you're serving food. And THAT is why I have given 4 stars instead of 5. We'll keep coming back for the food and friendly smiles. Hopefully they will curb/eliminate the use of perfume in the future. read more

The restaurant was fairly busy for a Monday morning around 9:00 am, and we were greeted by our waitress immediately and our orders were taken right away. Our food came out quick, within 10 minutes of ordering. I had a breakfast sandwich with sausage and hash browns. Was pretty decent and I have no complaints for my food and iced coffee. My first visit to JB's was pretty ok. The server was definitely hustling between kitchen orders and customers - the restaurant is small, but every table was taken. She was truly doing her best. Food wise, the pancakes are pretty good. The downside is that we ordered blueberry pancakes and the blueberries were not mixed in with the batter - the cook just kind of sandwiched them in between the stack. I understand how a hot griddle works, but our eggs, hash browns and pancakes were pretty greasy. I do love greasy foods, but this was a bot too much for me. I just couldn't handle it. My husband is a fan of their huevos rancheros, so I'll give that a try before I say a final no to Just Breakfast. read more

The food was good, our server was overwhelmed, and there were a lot of patrons complaining. When the bill arrived, our server had taken 10% off, but we chose to pay the full amount. Gravy was ok, nothing to write home about. Two eggs, not 3 as most places we visit with lower prices, no potatoes & a flat salty biscuit. Meat lovers omelet looked awesome, but poorly seasoned. I used too much hot sauce & ketchup. Potatoes were way overcooked & under seasoned. Worst part, food tasted & smelled like old cooking grease. I know prices on veggie oil has sky rocketed. Thank politicians! However, that cannot end up ruining the food. We didn't bother sending it back. No time. If the smell of the grease had not been so obvious I would have offered 3 stars. The omelet was impressive to look at, food was ok. I smelled the grease upon delivery, it greatly tainted the potatoes & biscuit.
