The plantains are amazing when they are fresh but I usually end up getting a stale batch. I keep ordering it though hoping for that fresh jackpot. read more

So this was my first time trying this place, my husband had been here before and wanted me to try it. I got whole chicken... this was really good and flavorful! I got the collard greens as one side.... Ummm they were good as far as flavor goes, but they were salty and you can also tell they were not cleaned good (which all would consist of soaking in vinegar and water to get the dirt/grit off) because I would bite down on grit ever so often. I got the cilantro rice... it was alright. Nothing to brag about. The fried rice was decent. It has pieces of chicken in it. I could do that one again. We ordered to go orders for our kids and one side I got was the potatoes. Those probably would have tasted a lot better if we had ate them there, but they were not terrible... after 20 years in the military, I have definitely had worse. They also have cakes and such, but I did not want to try them, in fear of them being dry. They were kept in a refrigerator so I knew they would be cold. I may try the tacos next time. Overall the people were nice and place was clean. Again the chicken was the best so far. I hope you anyone reading the reviews just goes and tries this place for themselves. I would not recommend ordering online just in case they forget something and that sours your mood. read more

I love the food here! I have been a fan of Peruvian chicken since I first tried it over 25 years ago and I'm picky! the chicken and sides are delicious. Tonight, I tried the carne asada, because again, I'm a true fan. For 15 bux I got a generous portion of flank steak, seasoned to perfection. It was laying over a bed of rice AND 2 sides. I waited abot 10-15 minutes for it because it was made to order! Absolutely delicious. The service is always top knotch too! The pic in posting is a little less than half of my meal! read more

During COVID 19 they do take call in orders and food is usually ready in 12 to 15 mins. First time ordered their quarter chicken (very dry) and the sides are horrible and overpriced compared to similar restaurants (Sylvesters is much better). The place was busy with all the folks from base for the lunch rush. But the line moved really quickly and it is always great to say hello to this Airmen who defend our country! I ordered the Chicharron De Pescado which deep fried chicken breast chunks in a spicy and super crispy batter served with a "ranch style" dipping sauce. The plate comes with your choice of 2 sides and I got the French Fries and the cilantro rice. Absolute perfection! The others ordered the 3 x Tacos (with pulled chicken) and they said they were super tasty; the Lomo Salado which is Smokey pieces of steak fried in oil with onions and tomatoes served wiTh white rice; the Kachi' ms Burrito with pulled chicken and a De Casa salad. Boy oh boy, this is my favorite joint! Ordered thru Yelp, walked in for pickup, quick and easy. The Super Parilla Mix is out of this world. Tender chicken, juicy carne asada, perfectly seasoned shrimp, and fluffy cilantro rice with plantains to top it off. I have to maintain some discipline or I'll be eating here 2-3 times a week. read more

The chicken was juicy and very well spiced, and the cilantro rice and crema (which had a little kick I wasn't expecting since we leave the pepper out when we cook at home) perfectly complemented it. My daughter, who's notoriously picky, devoured the chaufa before I could even have a bite, so it had to be good. Let me first state that I am a HUGE advocate for customer service. When I walked through the doors, Marco was the gentleman taking the order. He was a bit abrasive, as I'm sure he could sense this was my first time patroning his establishment. He sort of rushed me through the ordering process, although he did recommend a dish. I ordered a side of coleslaw to accompany my shrimp bowl. It never came out with my food. When my food was ready, my shrimp were undercooked, but I can't argue with presentation. The salad was beautifully presented. After tasting three or four shrimp I recognize that all of my shrimp were undercooked. I decided that spending $20 was too much for a salad to not be to my liking. I requested my money back and Marcos abruptly through my food in the garbage, without any apology for my experience or the lack of care in food preparation. I tried this place after getting a flyer at my house. I tried several things on the menu. The peruvian roasted chicken was juicy and well seasoned. Some of the best I've had in a while. The plaintains were nice and sweet and the string beans were just ok. The grilled lambchops were perfect. The steak quesadilla was plain and tasted like nothing. I have visited once a week since opening. The foot is great. The service great also. Last week I stopped in after 7pm. My one suggestion is keeping the sides fresh looking. The rice is great however I did realize I was given rice that had sat out for quite a while. Doesn't seem like the traffic is heavy so just keep in mind fresh is everything. This place is great. I went twice and a friend brought some I tasted. I had a huge craving for ceviche and everything was either too far or only had 1 option. This place was close by and new. It was clean, including the bathrooms, friendly with a smile and smelled delicious. I got the $18 Cevice Mixto both times. Dine in and to go was the same size serving which is a pet peeve when I go places. The only difference was I had cob corn on the 1st and kernel corn the 2nd. All of it was very well done, flavorful and filling. I added a side of plantain which was perfectly cooked with sour cream on the side. Burnt crispy end pieces, moist, a good size and sweet. The sour cream was also a good portion, not the itty bitty cup you can barely fit a pinky in. I would've been full without it and ceviche doesn't always do that. My friend ordered us the $11 1\4 chicken and the $22 lamb chops. All really good portions, flavorful, tender, and delicious. Seriously. I watched the chicken go round and round with juices dripping and colors changing when I ate in. Having it was above expectation. The sauces that came with them were good too. Can't remember the names but 1 was spicy spicy and the other was flavor that was seasoned and not sweet but filled my mouth. The consistency was good too. Not watery or too thick. I only managed to take pics of 1 meal but I world definitely recommend this place and have. Side note: the only got 4 stars because they forgot my plantain but we're apologetic when addressed and promptly fixed. Per menu, should have chicken and shrimp. Well, chicken is no where to be found! On 4th attempt, chicken materialized. Not pulled chicken, as per menu - just chicken breast slices. And in a to go container, not to eat in, as ordered. Guess the staff were so exhausted of this nightmare, they just wanted it out of the restaurant... And not even an apology! Only reason for 2 stars and not 1 is that the food was decent. These are likely growing pains, given that this is a new establishment, but still... Would NOT recommend. Kachis has really good food. Have been there twice in the last three days ;) The chicken is well seasoned, tender, and juicy. Green beans are good and the plantains are to die for! They have the best plantains! I ordered the carne asada today and it was a nice-sized portion. Big enough to split the steak in half and make it into two meals. The carne asada comes with two sides but I had a nice little surprise when I opened the box and saw that the steak was sitting on a small serving of white rice as well. This is definitely my go-to place when I want some Peruvian chicken. read more

Some of the green beans taste undercooked and the plantains could have been cooked a little longer. This was my first time eating here. Absolutely loved their food. We also ordered chicken tenders for our kids. We were highly dissapointed in their chicken tenders it was two small pieces, thin, and extremely over fried. We would have said something, however, I also don't think customer service is their strong suit. I have gone to this Resturant in the past, and never have I ever had to wait an hour for my food. This episode was during the pandemic, where you are suppose to order food and pick it up and leave. That's not what happened on this day! I sat in the car waiting for my daughter to pick up the food. How is it possible that you have food prepared in an assembly line, and your customers wait an hour for you to prepare it. They did not run out of chicken, nor did they bother to explain why they have people waiting around inside during the era of Corvid19! This showed me they have no regard for safety, or their customers! Gave then 2 stars bc the food was good, but not worth dying for!
