Came here for a quick breakfast on a random weekday. Service was friendly and prompt. I ordered the Turkey & Pesto crepe without the extra cheese, but with added avocado. It came out quickly and was bigger than I expected. The crepe was filling but didn't feel "heavy" which was nice since I don't want to feel sleepy after eating breakfast. First of all, they don't have a huge variety of crepes compared to other places I've been to. The selection did not seem that appetizing at all so I just ordered the classic crepe with tangy lemon. My friend ordered a classic crepe with bananas. It took more than 30 minutes for our food to be served and the customers who came in after us got their food first. Absolutely love kaffe crepe. We used to come here almost every weekend a few years ago but stopped going for some reason but I decided to go there today to get lunch for my hubby and I and wow..... I miss this place so much. The staff is extremely friendly like always and the food is exceptional. My husband got the turkey pesto crepe with avocado and I got the French Rivera with avocado which is my favorite and it was soo good. It's so light but filling at the same time and the chipotle ranch sauce is to die for. I also got the raspberry lemonade with lemon and mint and yummm!! So refreshing. I stumbled across this place because I was thoroughly impressed with a 5 star rating & 500 reviews on Yelp. My bf & I parked & immediately one of the workers who was cleaning the table outside immediately wished us a good morning, not even knowing if we were going inside the shop or not. We were haha. When inside we ordered 2 crepes, a savory and sweet one. While waiting I told them I was very impressed with their rating & one of the sweet workers made a comment that we were about to find out why. I jokingly said, better than France? And I was told yes. I was like ok ok bold statement. I was blown away. My bf was too. He's not one that's too impressed with food often but this did it for him. It was just THAT good. You have to try it. End of story. The staff was great. The owner was pleasant & told us about all her travel and living adventures. Kaffe Crepe is a really cute little place with a super fun and creative menu. They have the best of both world with sweet & savory crepes. We tried the s'mores crepe and the Alaskan. I prefer savory always, but the sweet ones are great too. I love that they are always coming up with new ideas and regularly have different specials. They also have a great drink menu with Italian sodas and fun hot drinks. We went on a Saturday around 11:30 and it was bustling! We actually had to leave and come back. Never been much of a yelper but have also never really found places worth raving about -- until now. At first, I was fairly hesitant to crepe for lunch, had it embedded in my head that they're mainly sweet and more of a dessert snack than a full meal. I ordered the Madame from their savory menu and added spinach and Avocado on it with their chipotle dressing on top and it was absolutely delicious! The cheesy goodness paired well with the ham and the whole meal together just came together so perfectly. It looked and tasted like a total work of art, had their matcha latte to go along with it and I couldn't have asked for anything more! Thank you for being so accommodating! The owners are very friendly and outgoing and do their best to make sure you are catered to. The sweet crepe had a light, airy texture with a hint of lemon. What is a crepe? Well, I can explain it to you but I wouldn't do it justice, but I'll try...consider it an extremely light and delicate pancake (but not really a pancake) filled with yumminess. Kaffe Crepe is a little gem tucked in the Costco shopping center next to The Niche. Inside you'll find several small tables, a bar, an espresso machine for fresh latte making, and an open view to see your crepe being made. I've had the pleasure of trying several of the savory crepes as well as the sweet crepes. And while sweet crepes will always be my favorite I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked the savory ones. My favorite crepe (so far) is the Cookie Butter Crepe...Sooo yummy! Wow. This little place is delicious! My only regret is that it's all the way in Reno and not some place I could go to weekly! I ordered the Mount Rose crepe and got the salsa on the side. Seriously so good and perfectly cooked! The eggs were a little bit yolky still, like maybe over medium? Exactly how I like it! And the chorizo was a little bit crunchy, amazing flavor! The cheese was completely melted and the green ssa that comes with it, super spicy and yummy!! The avocado was so fresh, I did wish it was dispersed a little more evenly throughout the crepe, but honestly it didn't matter because everything else was so good I didn't even think about the avocado as much. There was also enough of it that I was able to spread it out a bit. The crepe was sooo thin and perfectly grilled. It reminded me of when I ordered one while walking through the Christmas Market in Dusseldorf, Germany many years ago. I had gone in there planning on getting a sweet crepe after having my savory one, but I had no more room! I couldn't possibly eat one more thing, it was the ideal size for a breakfast. Another thing I really appreciated was that it was open until 4pm! Because sometimes you want breakfast at times other than breakfast time :) As far as logistical stuff, it has a huge parking lot in a shopping center with many other shops, so you'll have no problem finding parking. The inside has a little sit down area, and there's also a few tables outside, but it does get pretty hot in Reno, so not a great option during the summer. I have a feeling this place would get pretty packed during the weekend, so you might have a wait on those days. The next time I'm in this area, I am definitely coming back. I can't wait! read more

My boyfriend and I were here on a little day just to see what it was all about and we had our socks swept off completely. The staff was kind and allowed us to try some of the flavors we were unsure of. We ordered the cookie crumble crapes because of our sweet tooth. Everything perfect about a crape was this one and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The atmosphere was clean and cute and they offer a variety of other options including coffees and to go nuts spreads. My boyfriend and I will be excited to try out many other things on their menu as we will be coming here much more frequently before our Costco adventures. If you are even debating on coming here I absolutely highly recommend it. This is one of the cutest places in Reno by far. I've been wanting to come try this place for at least 1-2 years and finally made it! Every time I have thought about coming, they are already closed for the day since they close early (I think it used to be 2pm, but it's now 4pm). Today my husband and I went for breakfast before church and it was fantastic!! We wanted to get one savory and one sweet crepe, so we split the Mount Rose savory crepe and the Tahoe Blue sweet crepe (one of their summer selections). We were blown away at how amazing these crepes were! They are not like your typical crepes you get from a food truck or hotels. There is a reason this cafe specializes in just doing crepes, it's because they know how to do them right! These crepes compared to the very authentic ones we've had in Montreal. The crepes themselves were so light, fluffy, and delicate. They complemented the ingredients on the inside very nicely. I was surprised at how much food they were able to fit inside the savory crepe, check out my photo of one cut in half! My friend came to meet us later, he ordered the Buffalo Chicken crepe and it was the same way. The serving size is actually quite large and will fill you up. They also had a great selection of drinks! My husband got the iced peach tea, I got the iced vanilla chai latte, and my friend got the hot biscoff latte. Even these were excellent! The cafe itself is cute and well-decorated. It was cool to be able to watch the workers make the crepes right in front of you. The interior is small, but there are still a few tables plus even more tables outside. The seasonal menu is a fun addition to their standard items and is rotated pretty regularly; the season menu is always posted on their Instagram page and website. It took some time to get our food, but not an excessive amount of time--it was an appropriate amount of time to wait for them to make something so fresh. This place is one of my favorite spots in Reno! The workers are always so nice and friendly and the food just gives you such an at-home feeling. The food is absolutely delicious! They have everything from sweet, savory, coffees, teas, cream sodas and so much more! I usually go here for brunch with my mom, brothet and friends after long hour shifts at the hospital, and the kind and great service always makes me want to come back here! Other than that, the location is always super clean and well-maintained. The location is always crowded and super busy, so I would get here early if you really want to enjoy your meal. This business has a lot of potential to grow and I'm looking forward to further growth and expansion! I recently had a chance to attend a Yelp Elite event at this location and it was an amazing time. It's easy to dismiss a little place in a strip mall as being some corporate clone, but this is a small family operation with a neat backstory which I'm going to encourage people to find out for themselves. I can also now offer reviews of several different crepes on their menu. First, savory: The French Rivera was delicious, with just the right amount of everything. The turkey, mushroom, and spinach crepe wasn't my favorite, but if those ingredients excite you, I'd still recommend going for it, because they use good stuff. The real winner was the Cowgirl, which is chicken and cheese and fig jam, about which I was slightly dubious, but *wow*. It blew my mind. In terms of sweet, you can't go wrong with Nutella. There's also a cherry cheesecake which I enjoyed, although it was odd--it was like cherry-pie cherries, but I've never had them not rendered down into gooey pie filling before. Strange experience, worth a try. And finally their apple pie crepe was simply delicious; it's jam-packed with cinnamon and brown sugar and it's like a taste of home. Also, they're always experimenting: there are ever-changing specials and they always welcome customer suggestions. If your suggestion sells well, it might even become a regular option! This place is a diamond in the rough! You owe it to yourself to try it. read more

I had crepes on the brain recently after hearing Jana talk about all her wonderful menu items and her passion for her business so I decided to pay her a visit. I was obsessing over the herring crepe, but they unfortunately didn't have it today so I was faced with the tough decision of choosing from the vast menu of crepes, including 5-7 daily specials. I couldn't decide between a sweet or a savory crepe so I landed on The Cowgirl, the best of both worlds, with Brie, fig jam, and arugula. By suggestion, I added bacon for the extra salt. And boy was I glad I did. The addition of bacon did make the crepe cost a little more, but it was extremely worth it. The salty and sweet combo was absolutely perfect with every bite. The fig jam wasn't overpowering, as jam sometimes is, and the Brie was some of the creamiest I've ever tasted. This crepe was true perfection. The batter was thin and delicate with light crispy edges and wasn't too eggy or dense. I also loved seeing Jana, the owner, behind the counter making EVERY SINGLE CREPE, interacting with customers, and making helpful suggestions. You can tell she really has such a passion for what she does and it really shows in her work. All of her employees are friendly and helpful and you can tell they enjoy the environment they work in. Jana has truly created a gem right here in Reno. It's no wonder she's on the Yelp Top 100 read more

Came in with a party of 5. Listen, this place earns it's five stars, no contest. Every crepe was amazing and large enough to be filling. We had a combination of savory and sweet across our table, and found ourselves eating family style since everyone wanted to taste every crepe. Even the little waffle we got was delicious, I don't know how they make that waffle but if you're stopping for food I recommend adding it. The mint raspberry lemonade special tasted godly. We ordered a large coffee, and a barista gave us what looked like a large coffee, and when the woman who took our order saw it she went "that's not a large", and gave us another (large) coffee, completely unprompted. I've had Kaffe Crepe on my list of places to try for a while now. We finally decided to stop in today, and my GOODNESS why did it take us so long to get around to it?? I cannot wait to go back! We tried a sweet crepe, a savory crepe, and a frappe. For our savory crepe, we tried the buffalo chicken crepe. We got ours without the bleu cheese and we did not miss it at all. It was so delicious. Eat it with some ranch drizzled over it and it would be absolutely perfect! As for our sweet crepe, we ordered their Cookie Butter crepe and honestly my mind was blown. It is the perfect blend of flavors! We thought we may have gotten overwhelmed by the sweetness from the cookie butter, but it wasn't overwhelming by any means, and the actual cookies themselves really helped balance those flavors out. We ordered a caramel frappe as our drink and the flavors there were perfectly balanced as well. It wasn't overly sweet, nor did it have a crazy strong coffee flavor. All in all, we loved this place. I can't wait to go back! The restaurant is clean and inviting, the employees are unbelievably kind and welcoming, and the crepes and drink were just SO well made. It's nice seeing employees smile throughout our visit because you can tell it's an enjoyable work environment. The cashier was eager to tell us about the specials.
