Matzoh Ball Soup and tuna melt
    Deanna C.

Amazing, authentic Jewish food in Reno! The latkes are homemade and come with traditional sour cream and apple sauce. The matzoh ball is huge and comes out hot. Previous reviews said the matzoh ball came out cold, and I believe the restaurant has since corrected this. Loved the food! Service was okay, and the restaurant got busy as we ate Sunday lunch. Good spot.

The food was really good. I had the pizza and it was very flavorful and I like the thin crust. The service was good, the wait time for food was a bit long. The server did let us know that she had just put in two large orders so it may be a bit. The atmosphere is good, the seats were comfortable, we sat in a booth, not too bad on the cigarette smoke for being in an open restaurant in the casino. I will be back.

This place is always amazing. From the pizza, delicious sandwiches and burgers. Service was great for it being so busy. I believe there was a huge volleyball tournament going on nearby? All in all a great place for some great American fare. Pastrami and burger were cooked well. I asked for medium with pink but still tasted yummy. Very cool clay oven for pizzas and a large section of deserts and pastries. Loud ambiance, it is in a casino‍

Appetizer are the great & the biggest matzoh ball we ever saw Very good menu! Everything we had was delicious. We went quite a few times!

Food is excellent & exactly like New York City as a New Yorker I can vouch for everything that's in that deli I've had in NYC. Wonderful service great holiday. We love the atmosphere and the circular replica booths of the diners in New York!

Manhattan Deli inside the Atlantis is comfort food done exactly right, a true deli experience that consistently never misses. I went classic with a bowl of their chicken soup with a big, fluffy matzo ball (always), plus a pastrami on rye that was nothing short of legendary. The soup was rich, savory, and deeply comforting, with a matzo ball so generous and tender it soaked up every drop of that golden broth. Then there's the pastrami sandwich stacked so high I can't even open my mouth wide enough to take a straight-on bite. You have to come in from the side. Thick, juicy, perfectly seasoned pastrami piled unapologetically high on good rye bread, exactly how a real deli should do it. Insider tip: ask for the giardiniera. They don't automatically bring it out anymore, but if you know to ask (the regulars do), you'll get a complimentary bowl of those perfectly pickled, zesty veggies that wake up your palate and make everything on the table taste even better. What really sets Manhattan Deli apart is the consistency. The service is always friendly, attentive, and effortless, and despite being inside a casino, the space feels clean, calm, and refreshingly free of cigarette smoke. This is the kind of place you go when you want real comfort food, generous portions, and a meal that delivers every single time. Manhattan Deli doesn't chase trends, it perfects the classics. Come hungry. Very hungry and do some jaw stretches for that Sammy approach!

I Went out with my friends that we like to go thrift store shopping and we always pick a different restaurant to go to! One of our friends is a big casino person so she said something about the deli at the Atlantis! Service was really slow today, and I don't know why as it was a Monday and it was really quiet! It took us over 40 minutes to get our sandwiches and fries, then my fries were cold. Their fries were cold, one had onion rings one had garlic fries, and I had regular fries so we could share, but it was nothing to write home about, they were not that great.! service was ridiculously slow, so much for getting back there on the road, it took over an hour to have lunch! I ordered the Reuben, my friend ordered the Reuben and my other friend ordered the steamed meat, corn beef sandwich! I thought the onion rings were undercooked, and the fries were cold! The sandwich was pretty good, but it was nothing to ride home about! I'm not so sure I'd go back there again! If it's that slow on a Monday at noon then how is it on busy days?? I don't think I'll find out!

We went to the Atlantis hotel to stay over the Thanksgiving holiday! Atlantis was doing a Black Friday stay special and if you booked you got a $25 food credit! We decided to go to the Manhattan deli for an evening snack! My husband got the Miso soup which was very tasty and two Dutch crunch rolls that were heated and melted in your mouth and paired nicely with the soup! I went with mushroom cream of soup with a half of egg salad sandwich on sour dough. The bread was a little tough, I wish I would have ordered it on the Dutch crunch roll. Next time! The waitress was very attentive and we sat at a table facing the sport bar. My husband ordered a nice Chardonnay with a good pour. It was a lovely to sit back and relax while enjoying a quick snack.

Such a great place. The food is always great here. It's located over by the sports book. We ordered to go and the staff were super nice. The area itself isn't closed in with windows or anything. So while it is separated you can heat and see everything out in the casino still which is fun. Lots of food options and desserts. We ordered the NY special which is cold corned beef, coleslaw, and thousand island dressing on your choice of bread. So good and so much meat. Definitely worth checking out for all the food options.

Surprised that it was a sit down restaurant and not a deli counter. My party of 2 were pressed for time so we asked what the turn around time to be served was and it was only 15 minutes. The cold deli sandwiches are good and a huge serving. The service was good and our waitress kept checking in on us and even brought over a complimentary kosher pickle while we waited. Price is kinda high but its to be expected at a casino.

    Pastrami sandwich

We got there at 8:50 pm. They close at 10 pm. There weren't that many people there and so many empty tables, and they were still so slow :( we ordered within 10-12 min of being seated and our food came out just after 9:30. There were 5 of us. We didn't order anything extravagant. I had the pastrami sandwich and it was the most stingiest pastrami sandwich I've ever seen. It tasted fine, just wasn't anything to write home about And the sad cup of fries that accompanied it was really stingy as well. The cost was $21 and that felt like a rip off considering how tiny the portions were. I don't recommend this place.

Late night bite a few weeks ago; service ok didn't feel rushed yet we could tell they were closing so we felt like we had to pack up and leave. Food decent - deli food. Supervisor or Manager did come around to check on the last tables. Quiet since it was 30minutes to closing. Recommend if you like Deli food. Also tried a flight of beers.

Nice server. Fun robot can deliver your food. The manager, Larry, is 10 stars. I heard the pizza is fantastic. We were just there to get a snack to hold us over to dinner. Very clean. Tuna melt was good. I would order pizza next time. Just because I would have liked a tomato on it. and I had to ask for a pickle. All Sammy's should have a dill pickle on the plate in my foodie opinion;)

The Manhattan Deli is one of those places that satisfies a craving. Mine happens to be matzo valley soup. I'm craving it as I write this review! They do such an amazing job on this dish. Although this is my go to when I frequent this New York style deli, I've never seen a dish that disappointed anyone. The service is excellent the ambiance is hustle and bustle, reminding me of Times Square, Katz Deli etc. I'm so happy it's here in Reno. As a matter of fact, I'm going there for lunch today!

    Pesto spread is ridiculous.

My favorite is the Swiss and onion bread and it pairs very well with the Italian sandwich. Which is what I had. Everything in it from the meat to the lettuce to the dressing was all fresh and just the right amount of everything. One of my other favorite sandwiches is the Thanksgiving one..good cranberry..not runny gross sauce.. They do have fresh made cookies , brownies and different kinda of cold salads. They used to have racks of different kinds of bread they made and I loved it.. I used to buy some bread to make sandwiches at home. They were perfectly sized and at a good cost. But they dont have the racks out anymore. Which is sad. Besides being pricey and some little changes , the food and quality is still good in my opinion. Now, they best thing about eating there was all the seating they had. They get really busy alot and they would have tables through out the gas station..but they gas station was bought and almost everything changed. Half the seating, everything rearranged and kinda lost its charm/vibe.. the employees at both the gas station and deli aren't rude but they never really seem happy or just having a good day and not sure what to think of that. The one thing I've noticed is both the gas station and deli are always clean. Clean tables ,clean restrooms , ect..

This 8 inch sub seems like a 12inch sub (ONLY COMPARING SIZE) from subway or port a subs. The bread is wide. The medium sub and chips was 2 meals for me and I was overly full both times. You do pay a little more than port a subs or subway but the quality is way better. If you are in a hurry, do not come here near lunch time. Maybe placing an order for pick up is best for those in a hurry. They are popular so wait times can be a while during peak hours. (like lunch) I would say this place is worth checking out. I plan to go back again and try a few other things. Today they had clam chowder as the soup......I was so close to ordering that too. I am happy I didn't! I would be miserable right now trying to eat all that food!

The place jr region I've talked home has almost always been centered around food. In and around Philly, Cheese steaks were definitely the thing. Pretzels and wooder ice were up there as well. In any case, I'm not going to say it was the absolute best Cheesesteak I've ever had, be cause that would be insulting Philly in some kinda way... But both my Fiancé and I remarked as to we've not had a better one in all of our 9 years together. That's saying something. I eat what I want and we've had our fair share of cheesesteaks together. She's not from Philly but she's absolutely an accepted Philly Fan. Loves her Iggles, Flyers, and all things foodie Philly related.... Including Taylor Pork Roll. The Capriotti's sandwich in question is the American Wagyu Cheesesteak. We did just meat (extra not double) and cheese, and then doctored it up in the same way we each like our cheesesteaks. It was phenomenal. Besides the sandwich, the customer service was extra special. My rewards weren't working properly, Scott problem solved it quickly and without needing any issue from me, he simply handled it. In this day and age where it's so easy to fall back on technology's incapabilities, sleuth the representative simply saying, that's what it says and there's nothing I can do, even if as a human you are easily able to see a discrepancy. It should be more standard, but sadly, it's not. So I absolutely appreciate him taking charge and doing what he could to find a solution that worked for me, but also followed the company's protocols. He did that. The gal on the grill was awesome as well. I sincerely apologize I can not remember her name, but her enthusiasm and interaction with me over something as simple as a sandwich, was pretty cool. She made it a point to connect with me andd that fact I'm a Philly guy, was sharing his sandwich with my fiance whom is an adopted Philly gal. And to play with the fact this sandwich was a crucial part of our day and plans to watch The eagles playoff game. It should say somerhing that even though the team lost that game, we still hold this experience at a sandwich company as a truly fun and meaningful part of our day. I truly apologize for the lengthy message, but in a time and society where urs far too easy and quick to put one another down, when there's people or even a company that deserves to be called out for a customer's appreciation, I don't mind taking an extra minute of two to recognize that. Thank you! I'd say we're looking forward to our next visit, but we've already come back, order a giant sandwich And split it. An equally excellent experience and we'll be back again soon.
