Not only are the drinks really good, the service absolutely tip-notch, but everything on the limited menu is really good, including something as simple as french fries! Then while you're snacking and drinking, the views are spectacular with people lining up at sunset to take pictures. read more

We visited this restaurant almost everyday while staying at the AC Marriott Hotel! We truly liked everything we ate here! Shoutout to our bartender Chewy who served us poolside every night during our stay! He was so friendly and helpful! Our favourites were the garlic noodles with chicken and the Katsu Chicken Sandwich!!! I did find it a bit pricy but that's Hawaii :p! read more

Good food. Better service. We arrived at the hotel close to 6pm and after a long day of traveling, we were exhausted and decided to eat at the hotel instead of venturing out. We ordered the hamburger steak which was serviced with rice and gravy and the furikake fries and chicken wings. Everything was decent but nothing to rave about. The fries could have been fried a bit harder. The prices are also quite high for fairly small portions. There are other causal restaurants nearby that will provide better tasting food for better prices. read more

We met visiting friends here for some cocktails and sunset prior to dinner at nearby Matteo's. ATMOSPHERE: Kai Bar is located at the new AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea and serves as the hotel's poolside bar and casual eatery. A pavilion-like bar gives way to a small lanai with a mix of seating-styles that seamlessly connects to the small pool and sports a beautiful view of the Pacific below. MENU: Bar-style apps, salads, local-fare and full bar. BEVERAGE: The cocktail list was small, sad and didn't list one vodka-based drink, but they were able to make a mule for me. Of course it came in a plastic cup versus a copper one as we were poolside. Definitely not the best recipe out there as it lacked fizziness and the ginger beer aromatics that makes for a good mule. Portion size was below average. SERVICE: Local gal was very friendly, professional and attentive. She even came over to us on her own will to offer her photography skills after she saw us taking selfies. Thank you! I wish I got her name but I didn't pay the bill, LOL. OVERALL: Killer views, good service, mediocre cocktail selections and mixology. read more

Server , U'e was great and super accommodating with my allergies ! We celebrated friend birthday and had the fresh Ahi poke, kalbi ribs, pupu sampler and chicken teriyaki bowl . Everything was so good and U'e also brought a scrumptious lilikoi cheesecake with a candle for our friend. It was a magical night and all staff were welcoming and moved us inside since it was chilly. Beautiful location, but the food was terrible. "Nachos" consisted of some random weird food substance with dried out old cheese on top and three tiny slices of avocado. It said it was tortilla chips, have no idea what the heck they meant by 'tortillas". Drinks were great one night, watered down and not good the next. Will not go back. read more

Love how quick and easy it is to do the mobile ordering and you pick it up from the Front Desk or at the Pool or you can have it delivered to your room. My favorite thing on the menu is the stir-fried noodles (I added tofu). It was delicious! It was ready super fast too and the Front Desk lets you know when it's ready so you don't have to wonder. They also have a nice happy hour at the pool bar. Highly recommend! read more

First time staying at this beautiful hotel and decided to check out their outdoor bar. Luckily it was still happy hour. Our bartender Ui was absolutely friendly, delightful and lovely!!! We ordered the chicken wings and two drinks. It was the best chicken wings we've ever had here in Maui!!! The margarita was also fantastic. It's a very relaxing and peaceful vibe--not crazy busy like most touristy resort bars. The views are fantastic-both ocean and mountain views. We're only here for two days before we head over to Kaanapali, but wishing we were here longer. This Marriott owned hotel and tiki bar are amazing. The detailed design of everything is absolutely gorgeous. We will return in the future! read more

This is a hidden gem. It has been recommended to me by a local and I went with my wife and two other couples. I wish we had discovered the hotel earlier and next time come I will stay there as well. Gina was an amazing bar tender and there wasn't anything I didn't enjoy. Highly recommended. Burger and Poke bowl should be go to. read more

Celebrated my birthday at happy hour, Mark the bartender was fabulous! Actually everyone did an outstanding job with prompt service, excellent food and drinks making it a birthday to remember. We are locals and can't believe we didn't know this jewel was practically in our backyard. Think I have a new favorite place for a fun evening out. Poke was exceptional and the best onion rings!!! Avoid at all cost. Really bad food, like awful. Food tasted like it was frozen and then reheated or fried. The charcuterie plate had turkey cold cuts on it....... The humus was flavorless and tasted pre packaged. Strange assortment of food, one dish had French fries, egg rolls and dumplings. read more

Have been hewn here a number of times the servers at the bar are amazing! Very friendly very fun place to go with beautiful views! Main reason for my one start review is the manager Kaleo was very rude after my party had spent over 500$ on food and drinks! I always tip and take care of the servers because they are very friendly and personable to people from Maui! This was 4/21 on my birthday and had my boss's wife and 9 year old son go near the pool and put their feet in... he very rudely told them they weren't allowed near the pool which I understand but the way he approached them was beyond rude! When I tried to talk with him and let him know we live down the street and it was my birthday he got very rude and told me if I didn't like it he could call the cops just really disappointed with this so called manager the way this situation was taken care of especially to a woman and her 9 year old son! Don't leave many reviews but this guy kinda ruined my birthday celebration so we paid our bill tipped for good service as we always do and left this guy is worse than a mall cop! read more

It's one of those ok places but pricey and be prepared to be ignored if you're not on the bar or by the pool. We sat away from most and it took 20 min before someone actually acknowledged us. Brought us water and menus. Music was nice but food portions was rather small. Drinks expensive. And waiting for my tab I actually stood up by the register and wasn't even acknowledged. No I'll be right with you. No can I help you nothing. After the server all walked away I did too. Left just enough to probably cover the tab and walked off.
