Excellent service and stellar cocktails! The Lobby Lounge doesn't open until 5, and we usually go to dinner at about that time, and walk right by.... what a mistake. Probably the best lobby bar on Maui. Hamachi Crudo was good as well.

Sunset cocktails prior to dining doesn't get any better than the lobby lounge @ FOUR SEASONS! A very spacious are with spectacular view of the ocean and lower garden area of hotel. Many high end spirits plus local cocktails blended with indigenous fruits to create aloha bliss. If you need to nibble on something they have a small menu and from what I recall I think even some appetizer bites also. It's a great gathering zone for you & guests all day long since it's a central location in building. From my visits I would always say the employees are some of the best. Always making you feel relax and at home. So make sure you tip them well! Frank B out!

Had a couple of drinks with my mom around 5:30pm on a weekday, while we waited for my daughter's hula practice to be done. Seating was comfy, view was beautiful, and ambiance was perfect with live acoustic musician singing and playing the guitar. Our server was nice and checked on us often. The drink menu is seasonal, and unfortunately, they no longer have the drink my mom wanted, nor the ingredients to make it. I ordered that Talisman Mai Tai. It was very strong like last time, which is a good thing considering how much one drink is. It didn't look like they had any dim sum on the menu from a previous visit. Unfortunately, there were no happy hour specials when we were there and kama'aina discount at the restaurants has been reduced to 20%. If I'm there again, I would stop in for a drinks or pupus; but due to the price, I would not go out of my way to dine or drink here.

This was my first time in Maui and I wanted to enjoy a cocktail at the posh Four Seasons. The Spago bar was at full capacity at 5 pm so we opted for the Lobby Lounge. We were seated right away with the host politely accommodating our request the another table. The waitress came by to take our drink orders and I asked some questions about the taste etc. the waitress appeared bothered and inconvenienced when I asked her. Appearing so bothered that she said "the drinks are premade" in an effort to stop my questions. Our drinks came and they were surprisingly good, didn't taste premade at all. Despite the uncomfortable interaction, the drinks were good and we were considering having a second drink. We found an article about how a bartender here created an off menu "white lotus" cocktail. We asked the waitress and she scoffed at us in a mocking way in response to my inquiry. I decided to get the check and leave. This hotel is stunning but the elitism customer service from the staff is the true fire in Maui.

Great hanging out, life music and wonderful view and ambiance. Having a cocktail before dinner.

5 for a nightcap (drinks and live music). 3 for food. Came one night for pre-dinner drinks. Got their special mai tai, which was pretty good! Strong lime flavor though. It came with cherry foam, which was unique. I liked that they offer free chips with your drink order and had live music and a dance performance each night. Our waiter was also super friendly, helpful, and attentive. Came another night for dinner and would give the food a 3. Got the sushi sampler and a salad. The fish was fine but the rolls poorly made and kept falling apart. The salad was average. Both were very overpriced. In sum, come for drinks but not for dinner!

I love here's drinks. It is probably the best cocktail experience we had so far in Maui. The price is not cheap but totally worthy. I highly recommend the Kipahulu Lulu, it's like a twist on Mai Thai, truly amazing flavor.

This lounge was a lifesaver!! Our go-to spot during our stay here at the beautiful Four Seasons in Maui. We came here to relax almost every evening. It was a great spot to bring our toddler because they had a kids menu and live Hawaiian music and even hula dancers some nights! And since it was a lobby lounge, our toddler was able to move around without being confined to one chair. The manager even brought us a cool magnetic block toy for her to play with. Excellent service! The drinks here were phenomenal. The cocktail menu was extensive and organized by drink color which was really playful and unique. All the cocktails were very well-crafted, balanced, tasty, and enjoyable. Even the presentation was gorgeous with unique cups, fresh flowers, and bright colors. Definitely on the pricey end but it's the Four Seasons with an ocean view and live music so... you get what you pay for. The food was better than I expected. I had low expectations since it's just a lobby lounge but it was actually pretty good. We really liked the sushi roll sampler. The sliders weren't bad either. Highly recommend, especially if you're a guest staying overnight here!

My friends are visiting from out of town and brought me here for happy hour cocktails. It was amazing. We seated ourselves and the waitress quickly brought us mixed nuts and olives. She explained the drink menu very carefully and she was very sweet with such a pretty smile. I tried the Kipahulu Lulu Mai Tai and it did not disappoint. It was refreshing and so delicious. My friends ordered several martinis. One of my friends ordered the cucumber green tea martini he let us take a sip and it was so refreshing. I am ordering this martini next. He also ordered the skinny colada martini. This was also a winner. Overall, beautiful view and beautiful atmosphere. Customer service is great. It's not somewhere I personally can go for drinks all the time but it's a nice change from happy hour in Kahului and Wailuku. Perfect for hanging out with friends especially friends and family who are visiting from out of town. Check it out :)

My wife and i followed the Yelp reviews and were not disappointed by this gem. We arrived early to secure a seat and by 4:50 (10 minutes before happy hour began) all the seats had been snatched up Our server, Jessica, promptly brought us a snack of mixed nuts and delicious olives ( I cannot stand olives but my wife convinced me to try these). Jessica also asked how she could address us, which was a lovely touch We started with the Kipahuku Mai Tai and the Hala Kahiki, which was served in a fabulous copper pineapple. Both cocktails were outstanding. Now, on to some actual food....

We only made it to the lobby lounge once during our stay, but it was fantastic. The White Horse cocktail was amazing, and the Two Doves cocktail was also great. They also give you free snacks (olives and onion chips). The ambiance is as luxe as one would expect, and there are many comfy seating options on couches and soft chairs. Live music, too!

However, the owner took the time to respond and explain that the entire shopping center wing was experiencing cooling issues and that the restaurant was dealing with significant staffing shortages at the time. While that doesn't completely change the experience we had, I appreciate that the owner acknowledged the challenges and responded professionally rather than dismissing the feedback. One observation I would offer is that, as a customer, it was difficult to tell who was serving tables. I noticed several employees in Pint & Cork shirts moving around the restaurant, but only saw a couple of servers actively covering the dining area. It's possible some staff were assigned to bartending or other responsibilities, but from the guest perspective it gave the impression that table service was understaffed while other employees appeared unavailable. I still think there is room for improvement in the flow and logistics on the floor, but I appreciate the owner's willingness to engage with feedback and explain the circumstances. That being said, I would be willing to give the restaurant another chance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATED REVIEW AFTER OWNER'S RESPONSE: 6.21.26 I appreciate the response. It's telling that you addressed the air conditioning, disputed the gender of an employee, and questioned whether I was even there, yet didn't meaningfully respond to the concerns about service, timing, attentiveness, or food quality. If a customer leaves with a poor experience, the question isn't whether they perfectly recalled every detail. The question is why they left with that impression in the first place. I suspect future readers can draw their own conclusions from both the review and the response. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Probably the most disappointing dining experience of our Hawaii trip. We specifically asked to sit indoors because we wanted a break from the Maui heat after spending the day outside. Unfortunately, we quickly realized there was no air conditioning, making the indoor seating barely any cooler than outside. The restaurant also felt severely understaffed. It took around 10 minutes just to get a Diet Coke, and every time I asked for assistance, the woman working at the register seemed to defer the request rather than help or find someone who could. Meanwhile, some employees appeared more interested in chatting than helping customers, while only one or two staff members seemed to be working the floor. I understand restaurants get busy, especially in a tourist area, but the issue wasn't just the wait--it was the feeling that customer service wasn't a priority. As for the food, it was nothing special. I ordered a steak that had a nice smoky flavor, but it arrived well done and overcooked. The rest of the meal was average at best and definitely not memorable enough to make up for the service issues. Between the lack of air conditioning, slow service, inattentive staff, and mediocre food, this was one of the few places in Hawaii where I genuinely regretted spending my money. Considering the location at The Shops at Wailea and the prices being charged, I expected a much higher level of hospitality and execution. There are far too many great dining options in Wailea to come back here.

Tonight we visited Tommy Bahama, a restaurant we make a point to visit at least once every time…read morewe're on the Big Island or Maui. Unfortunately, this was by far the most disappointing experience we've had. Looking back, we probably should have asked to speak with a manager while we were there, but after everything that happened, we simply felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave. I'll start with the positives because there were several. The drinks were delicious, the sea bass was excellent, and the dessert was absolutely incredible. The pasta itself was a little overcooked and soggy, but the flavor was still very good. The disappointing part of our evening was the service. After our server initially introduced herself, it took quite a while before she returned to take our drink order. When we were ready to order dinner, my husband was still deciding between a couple of menu items. Rather than giving him another moment, our server became visibly impatient and said she would come back after delivering our drinks. It ended up being more than 10 minutes before she returned. When I asked whether the entrees came with bread, her response made me feel embarrassed for even asking. Since they didn't, we ordered the biscuits as an appetizer to enjoy while waiting for our meals. Our children's meals arrived promptly, which we appreciated. However, our server never once stopped by to see if the kids needed anything. I had to flag down another server just to get ketchup. Meanwhile, our server walked past our table several times without checking on us or asking if we'd like another round of drinks--which we actually would have ordered. When our entrees arrived, the biscuits still hadn't come out. Shortly afterward, our server finally checked on us. I let her know that since our meals had already arrived, we no longer needed the biscuits and simply asked that they not be included on the bill. Her response was, "Well, they're made fresh and in the oven now. I guess I can go tell the kitchen you don't want them anymore." I replied, "They were supposed to be our appetizer, and our meals are already here now." Before I could even finish my sentence, she walked away while I was still speaking and appeared to mumble something under her breath. That interaction left my husband and me feeling shocked and disappointed. We've dined at many restaurants over the years and have never felt spoken to in that manner. We had considered asking to speak with a manager at that point, but honestly, we just wanted to finish our meal and leave without any further uncomfortable interactions. This was especially disappointing because Tommy Bahama has always been one of our favorite restaurants and a place we genuinely look forward to visiting whenever we're in Hawaii. We hope this experience was an exception rather than the standard, because the food continues to be wonderful--the service simply did not match the quality we've come to expect.

Suggested tip is 25%, that's a huge red flag! Lahaina Brewing purchased Kohola brewing about one year ago. How I wish I had visited before that, because looking at historical Yelp reviews, the previous food offerings look SO much more interesting and were made with local and traditional products. Now what you get is $11 spam musubi, a pretzel that has both fish roe and sugary syrup on it (gross!) for $21, pseudo-Niçoise salad for $28 (WTF!), and imported shrimp cocktail for $5 a shrimp. Piss off! Even the server said it was a total rip-off. The menu is massively disappointing for those who actually have a frame of reference. Good thing we only came for beer. Tried the Kohola beer in Makawao and was very impressed. The Tall Story Pale Ale is really excellent, gold standard for pale ale, but you don't have to come here to enjoy it. Happy Hour is 2-5 p.m., $2 off Kohola draft and $4 off a glass of wine. Regular price beer is $8.50, fairly standard price. Unlike others, we had a good service experience.
