Y'all. Don't come here. I went in there this morning (Jan. 20,2024) for a blow out and curls. Rose was the lady who worked on my hair. And I am so disappointed that I paid $65 for such a poor job. She clearly didn't know how to style hair. She didn't blow out my hair. A blow out is drying the hair while styling it, and giving it volume. This is not what she did. She didn't even brush it before grabbing the curling iron. She literally ripped my hair apart to curl it. She was also just simply not nice. She seemed annoyed. Just overall crappy job. We have been here a few times. Really thought the world of the place traveling a distance for service. The person who seems to be in charge is very nice. I believe it has slid since we first came. The major concern is cleanliness. I noticed the sterilization machine is unplugged an not being used. This was after I watched the staff cleaning their tools in a sink barely using any soap. It was actually dish soap being used and scrubbed with an old brush, but not really getting in there to clean them. Then right back in the nail basket. I caused me great concern, because I got a nail infection on one of my toes some time ago and I wonder if it was a case like this (Not saying it was this location, as that was prior to me ever coming here). The nail files and pads used seem to have been used many times before. The other rub is I felt things were rushed, it was later in the day and there seemed to be a focus on two late arriving customers which ended up having three or four people working on them. Pricing, I don't understand pricing. Things seem to change or services for prices you have or do receive. Sometimes more, sometimes less? Maybe I am overly sensitive because of the cleaning issue and feeling rushed. Won't be going back. Can't unsee this now. My apology for the concerning post. Again, very nice people there. read more

I never leave bad reviews but I went to this nail salon to get my gel x removed and the lady completely damaged my nails. I've never gotten it removed before so I didn't know that she was doing it wrong. She didn't soak in acetone and instead drilled my nail all the way down. My nails were left incredibly thin and uneven - I can see indents from the drilling in my nails. I gave her a 3 dollar tip which I thought was fair for the awful job and that it was 15 dollars and she insisted on me giving her another dollar and inputted it as 19 dollars. I was honestly in such shock over how damaged my nails were that I couldn't even think. Overall terrible experience. read more

This is a pretty great spot! Very roomy salon with both hair and nail stations. They offer a lot of different types of gel and chrome, and they do cat eye nails!! I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the pricing was not made clear to me from the beginning. I could not see a pricing poster, and when I asked for the prices (acrylics with polish vs. gel, chrome vs. cat eye, etc...) I was not given a clear answer until the process had already begun. Normally I find this super sketchy but they did great work so I'm not too bothered by it. I came into the salon around 9:30 am on a weekend, and asked for a fill for my acrylics and a pedicure. Everything took about an hour and 15 minutes which is pretty good for both hands and feet. Now for the pricing: I paid $45 to get a fill, coffin shaped, with cat eye gel. I'm a little iffy about that price because that's about how much I paid total to get a brand new set with gel at my regular salon. I always think charging an extra $15 for gel with a fill is a rip off, it's not that much more expensive than polish for the owners, so i don't feel it should be that expensive for the customers. Since I was spending already spending $40 for the fill with gel anyway, I decided to spend the extra $5 on cat eye. Which was totally worth it. I highly recommend it. Pedicure was $15. I got black polish and it still looks great even almost a week later. No qualms there. Again, 4 stars because I wasn't given a thorough understanding of the pricing beforehand, and because I don't like spending an extra $15 on gel. But other than that it's a great place with quality work and lots of options!! read more

I booked my appointment. Tech sat and started on my pedi. A regular walks in without and appointment and my tech stops and starts on her now I have to wait for another tech. That's how it started. New tech starts on my toes and does the bare minimum just a cuticle clean up file and polish. Filing was so bad and uneven, I chose a burgundy color and when tell you she didn't even use a brush with acetone to clean up edges let just say my toes looked like they were bleeding out. Either way it was $25.00 pedi but I left a $10.00 tip maybe it will motivate for better work/service. This salon is outdated and polish selection is poor. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. There is some right meanies that work here. Especially the "threading lady". My poor friend has been in tears since her visit here yesterday. She didn't want to leave an review for fear of bad karma but I think it's absolutely essential that we leave reviews for businesses who are not nice so they can't treat others like this again! She had her face butchered and was in a lot of pain after going in for threading - the lady said $19 which is expensive but she paid it anyway! The "threading lady" took her in a room and started to "thread" - My friend told her it was painful but she kept pinging her face! We get our eyebrows threaded all the time and it never hurts like this! The women also threaded her forehead which was not even what was asked for! The eyebrows were absolutely terrible with a wonky shape and all the skin sliced off! My friend got up and left after being told "no pain no gain" by the woman!!! How can she get away with that?!!! When she asked for her money back the nail technician refused.. she then admitted to doing half a job so only gave half the money back to my friend!!!!! Can't actually get over the cheek of this salon offering threading as a service when they have no idea how to do it!!!! She continued to talk about my friend in another language and was extremely rude and nasty!!!! Do not go here for threading! You'll end up coming out needing a hospital visit read more

I live down the street from this place, only came for convenience. had a manni and pedi, both were hella painful First the toes, the job was going as usual, and when it came to the big toe on my right foot, the woman doing the job scrapped under the nail ( I don't know wtf she was trying to do) and would not stop until I lifted my foot out of her hand, in response she didn't even look up and just continued to do the job. I have been coming here with a friend for over two years now and always have a good experience. My nails always last long and I always get compliments on how good they look. I usually get gel on my hands and a regular pedicure. Both last for several weeks and I rarely experience chipping or peeling. I have had most of the staff do my nails and they are all friendly and skilled at what they do. I love how the staff remembers repeat customers and I always feel welcomed every visit. My first time visiting the nail shop after moving to the area 5 months ago. I'll never return again. I needed a pedicure, that was it. The lady who performed me pedicure was nice but lacked customer service. She barely scrubbed my feet because I declined to pay $10 extra for callus removed and her "special machine". Ma'am, I don't need it but could you have at least cared enough to give me a quality basic service? There was barely a foot massage with lotion and the paint job was subpar. The first time I found out that the Colombian liked to get pedicures, I was shocked - and a little suspicious. This is the same man who rocks jeans from high school and once thought it was ok to have a mullet (it is NEVER okay). Was he really so self-conscious about his feet...or was there some smokin' hot chick with a giant rack working down those calluses? So of course, Detective Anh T. had to do some investigative work. On a lazy Saturday afternoon, I decided to walk in and see what Kailyn had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised by the bright and clean appearance of the establishment. On the right, spa chairs lined against the wall. Even without an appointment, I was immediately advised to pick out color and sit my ass down in one of their big chairs. Within minutes, the foot spa was on full blast and the comfy chair pressed along my spine in rhythmic circles. Ahhh yes. The pedicurist didn't say much to me throughout the session, nor did she make any snide comments to the other workers (it really helps to understand VC talk in nail salons). I generally hate small talk anyway. There was no pain or blood, although the foot scrub tickled me silly for a good 30 seconds. Within 20 minutes, I was up to date with pop culture via UsWeekly and had shiny pink toenails. All for $17! The only complaint was that the paint was so thick, I ended up smudging my toes, even after waiting a full 2 hours. Eh. And the women there? They ain't got nothin on me! Then again, some men have the yellow fever so bad, anything slanted will get their saliva glands going. However, familiar with the Colombian's discerning taste, I wasn't worried. After screwing up my own gel nails with a new gel pack I bought at ULTA (a pack that is getting returned today btw), I went here for a quick fix. They had a great color, but don't carry my preferred gel brand, CND. They do however, carry Gelish, which is a good second. The woman walking around answering phones and greeting customers was ATROCIOUS at customer service. She kind of barked at me. I understand that might be a cultural thing, but it was unacceptable. I would be embarrassed if she was running my business. I even stood around waiting to be noticed so I could pay while I watched her count money instead of running my credit card. The two women working on my hands and nails did a mediocre job. I never want my cuticles cut, and the woman who did my manicure tore them apart with the buffing she did. It'll be fine in a day or two, but still. They were both nice enough, but not friendly, and this was just careless. I had been coming here (happily) on & off for the past year but more consistently the last 6 months. Most of the employees (including owner) know and greet me whenever I walk in. Just the other night though, I came in and was not greeted by the owner. She worked on removing my gels and said nothing to me which was odd. The lady working on my pedicure cut a bit too deep into my toe, which made it bleed. Then 15 minutes later, she started talking about me in her native language, in which I understood EVERY word. I drop at least $30-50 every time I go and tip them at least 20%, too, so I don't understand why I would be treated this way. She is the main person that greets & schedules everyone (owner?). She did such a rush job, didn't properly clean cuticles, didn't smooth the nails after filing, and did the worst and messiest polish job I've ever seen. She also did my friend's mani & my friend wasn't happy either. Others were great the woman that did my pedi & the guy that did my friends pedi were great. Otherwise I would've given 1 star.
