Finally found a non-toxic nail salon in Los Feliz! I stopped going to traditional salons because of all the harsh chemicals, but Haven totally changed my mind. The space is spotless, and I really appreciated how clean and professional all the tools were. From the moment I walked in, Ivy greeted me warmly and helped me pick the perfect Dazzle Dry polish--it kinda lasts like gel but removes easily without soaking in acetone. score!! I added the callus treatment (I'm a yogi with dry feet), and even my boyfriend noticed how smooth they looked. The whole vibe was calm and relaxing--I actually fell asleep--and the cute dogs walking by outside just added to the charm. It is nice and clean, doesn't smell at all and they have a huge line of Zoya and other great non toxic polish lines - great variety to choose from. Spa chairs are super comfy and the staff was great. Haven is the cutest spot for making you feel welcome & having top notch service. Owner/manager is so sweet, smells super fresh, music is a whole vibe & because it is a smaller shop, they are able to take their time and really focus on providing a great service. I had Nara do my manicure (gel mani with builder gel) and she was so meticulous, best manicure of my life I switched to doing a gel manicure after several years of doing dip manicures, I couldn't be happier with the result. Simply beautiful! Julie did my pedicure and had just as much attention to detail, as well. Walked out in tears completely appalled by how I was treated here. I had a major modeling job coming up and was asked by the client to have my nails done in specific colors. I wanted to be fully prepared so I booked an appointment a week in advance and even emailed the salon to confirm they had the exact shades I needed. They assured me via email that they did. When I arrived the day of, they didn't even know I had an appointment. To make things worse I sat down to confirm the nail colors and the nail tech said she wasn't sure if they had them and had to check with the owner who came over to tell me me they didn't have the colors and that it was her husband who answers the emails. (Why is someone uninformed about inventory handling client communication?) I also needed to have my current gel nails removed but the owner started going on a rant and scolding me in front of everyone about my 3D nails being "too thick and difficult" and that removal would take an hour. I felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience despite having an appointment and being prepared on my end. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, she projected her frustration onto me and told me to come back in the evening when she had more time. By that point I was nearly in tears because I was stressed about not having my nails done for the job and in shock by how I was treated. I left and walked across the street to another salon where they removed my nails in 30 minutes and gave me an excellent experience. There are plenty of nail salons in the area that treat their clients with basic respect so go there instead. I will never return to this place read more

Sadly more expensive and frankly quality not as good. Also the phone number here doesn't work so walked down to see about a basic manicure to salon with 2 customers and 6 employees was told they were too booked to service me for an hour or so. While I've only come in for pedicures, I'm really happy with their color selection, I love that their polish is non-toxic and holds up nicely, and my toes have honestly never looked better. This is a great new nail salon on Hillhurst. I've been several times now and I've enjoyed all the services. It's a gorgeous space and it's clean and inviting. It's a small smaller salon, so there can only really be 6-8 clients in the space at a time, so you really feel like it's semi-private and you're getting a lot of attention to detail. The music is also great! And they offer wine, tea, coffee, water. Give it a try, I want to make sure it sticks around! I'd love to keep going back. I've had great services from Ruby and Ivy.
