$75 for a pedi and short full set + gel The sign I read: $30 for full set. $25-30 for a basic pedicure. I'm guessing it's $15 extra for gel? Pedicure: Did not use cuticle oil on my cuticles. Just started cutting and scraping with water. Half scrubbed one foot and then scrubbed only a little on the other. I did not get a little foot massage... they put cuticle oil on my shins and rubbed them .... where was the lotion? Where was the massage? I highkey don't mind paying this price for these services but give me what I'm paying for ATLEAST. Short full set + gel: Damn.. I feel bad that it came out the way it did because they really took their time trying to shape it. But the sides are not nice (view photos)... the acrylic is stuck to my skin... I don't like going home fixing my nails... not for $75... no cuticle oil on my dry cuticles. This visit made me sad. This spot was convenient... no one was waiting when I got there. I'm from Orange County and nail salons over there are significantly less expensive for pretty much every service. That being said, I cringe whenever I pay over $30 for a simple, no design gel manicure...but the other day I was driving down Central Ave and I saw House of Nails. I gave them a call and they said it was $25 for gel. I was stoke and booked an appointment. I do wish they had a bigger selection for gel nail polish, I think that total they had probably less than 80 colors to choose from. But they do have all the basic pinks, nudes and neutrals which is what I usually get. What I really enjoyed about this place was the fact that it was not packed, there were a few customers, but nothing like overly crowded. I was seated immediately, and the girl who did my nails was quick and precise. She painted my entire nail and didn't leave an space between my cuticle, unlike other places I go to, it grows our quicker than it should. I was in and out the door in less than an hour for gel removal + application. Most places I go to, they keep me for about an hour and thirty minutes. Overall, I was pretty happy and I will be back! I wanted to try a new place since my regular place isn't open. I was able to walk in and received services immediately. The service I wanted was blacked out ( spa pedicure ) , I asked if I could get that and they said that was fine. The staff are wearing masks but, while I was getting my pedicure the lady next to me did not have her mask on :( The service was $46 and they prefer cash only tips. I'm happy with my toes. Giving 4 stars since they didn't enforce wearing the mask while inside the salon when it's posted. read more

This was the worst experience ever. While he was working on me he cut me twice. He had just finished the gel polish and one hand and then reached over me (because I was on the spa chair) and placed his forearm on my wet nails. He messed them up. I asked him to fix it and he tried to convince me that they were ok when they were visibly not. Then this same man polished my finger tips. It was really bad. It felt like crazy glue on my finger tips. When I asked him to remove the polish he ignored me and took another client. I paid over $80 for service and that was last Friday. It was my first time visiting and I was with Eric I believe (?) and not only did he not fully listen to what I wanted (I repeatedly said I don't want them too narrow), clearly they're breaking non stop. Some of them the real nail is exposed. When I mentioned this of one nail all he did was shrug and try to file it which did not fix it. I came in Thursday. As soon as a customer HE KNEW stepped into the salon he stopped worrying about me, the customer he was currently working on, and just wanted to get done as soon as possible which is really disappointing. The price is listed as $50 for the combo but nowhere is it mentioned that's it's an additional $41 for callous removal. I went here just to get an eyebrow wax, when I walked in I looked at the pricing on the wall it said $6 so I assumed that was the cost. After my eyebrow wax was complete, I was charged $21! Eyebrow waxing should not cost that much and if it does they should have at least posted the correct pricing. I paid it, but I will never go back. When you walk into the salon, no one greets you.. it's very awkward. The last time I went in for a hard gel set, I made an appointment. If I could give zero stars I would. I came here thinking I would only be here for 30 min or less. I came in and asked for an acrylic removal and got seated right away - only to be unattended for 15 min. Throughout what should've been an easy process, my experience was handed off to a total of 4 people - all who attended me in between other people they were providing services for. I ended up sitting there for an HOUR and when they were "done" this is what my hands looked like. Not to mention- they didn't even REMOVE all the acrylic. Half of my fingers still have the material. I can't believe I still got charged after such awful service honestly. This was a complete waste of my time and money. read more

First off, they got the length wrong, told them I wanted to use my natural nail length from the start so when he started cutting my nails I reminded him but he said coffin shape looks better--he had already started cutting my nails so there was no going back. So I said fine no big deal I'll just pick a color and we can do a coffin shape. He clearly rushed it because not even an hour after I left the salon, the gel started to peel off of 4 of my nails! The other ones still have pockets of wet gel in them, very bad quality and the worst part, it cost me $51 for my nails to look like this. I did not have a good experience house of nails ! This place is not clean, the spa chairs are old and falling apart. When I originally first called to schedule my appointment I had asked specifically for a certain lady. Once that was confirmed I made my way to my appointment and when I got there A completely different person started working on my nails. I tried to ask for the specific person I wanted but it seemed like the language barrier wasn't allowing us to communicate correctly. Fine I let that go because I really need my nails done for a special event but now I wish I would've just got up and left. I didn't like my nails at all, I tried explaining what exactly I wanted but he just didn't get it right. I was so frustrated by the end of my appointment that I was just ready to leave. The next few days I was almost even embarrassed to show my husband and friends my nails because that's how bad of a job they did. I couldn't wait for one week to pass by so that I can try and go get them removed. Based on the other reviews of this place doesn't seem like my experience was a rare one.
