Our door was installed by Kaiser as part of our new home construction. We looked to develop a long-term relationship with Kaiser going forward. We had 3 maintenance service trips in the 2 1/2 years we have been here. Each time service work was done and things seemed to be fine, that is until we lost power. Our Lift Master side-mount opener with battery backup did not work, so I called Kaiser to check it out. The battery was not hooked up, but I was charged $95 to hook up the battery that Kaiser should have looked up. I tried to work with the office to clear up the charge, but I was told that battery testing & operation is NOT part of a normal door maintenance service...let that sink in for a minute. Imagine your door is serviced, but for some reason you have to specify you want the opener & battery backup checked. Honestly when a service provider makes you jump through hoops to understand what they do during a service call then walks away from their responsibility to finish the installation process only leads me to find another service provider.... read more

Another company had come out and said we needed new springs. I called Kaiser for a second oponion. Charles was the technician. He was very personable - said we didn't need new springs. He adjusted the "eye" and the tension, and oiled the springs and hinges. He just charged us a service call. I was very pleased. read more

Kylie answered the phone each and every time I called this company and was extremely polite and helpful with scheduling our appointment. This is the second time we had Darin, first at our house and then our niece's house, both on the west side of Phoenix. He brought an apprentice, Evan, with him the second time. Both times our door issues were expertly resolved in a no nonsense manner to our relieved satisfaction. My niece's biggest complaint was how loud and clunky the door was. It required a spring adjustment, opener reset, and lubricants on the hinges/spring. I picked this company because they apparently were the installer of the garage door of my new build home. Long story short: my wife backed out of garage and took out lower panel of garage door. I contacted this company to order replacement panel. This was in September. The sales rep instructed me the panel in question was special order and would take 2-4 weeks to get in. Only thing I needed to do was pay deposit. I immediately paid this deposit. I was told a receipt was going to be sent over to me. I never received the receipt. After a couple weeks I emailed the sales rep asking for an update on my garage panel door since. Garage is not operable or secure! Never got a response. I emailed again. Still no response. Emailed again! No response!! Finally I called the sales rep to which he somewhat rudely said well he gets hundreds of emails per day is why he hasn't responded. He told me install was scheduled for oct 2. Fast forward I never received a confirmation email on install so I called Main office. They had a hard time finding my order (not sure if it was even ever ordered). The lady was really nice and apologized. Stated due to Covid manufacturers are taking longer then usual. Which is understandable. Now pushed install back again 4 more weeks. Offered to have tech come out and try and get garage door secured at no cost. Finally the day came to install. I wasn't home but my 16 year old there during install. When I got home I noticed the tech never re-secured the left track of garage door. It could've fell off during operation. POOR INSTALLATION We recently bought a new build in Surprise in November that had a garage door installed by Kaiser. I noticed when the garage door closed it made a loud clunk. So I contacted the builders warranty program and they sent out a tech to take a look. The tech told my wife that WE need to grease the spring and hinges. Even though he was already out there. I'm not sure how lubricating the spring and hinges is our responsibility when the door is only a few months old and it should've been lubricated upon install. This company will not stand behind their product and will try to pass the responsibility onto the homeowner. read more

They asked a lot more questions than any of the others. They tried to sell me exactly what I wanted. Well meaning people, but the company can't get out of it's own way. We've had issue after issue on our project that's been on-going since August (5 months!). They've reinstalled one gate three times and it still isn't right. Our stucco is mangled and needs serious repair (see pictures). Terrible responsiveness and difficult to get on the phone. The list goes on and on. The only people I had a positive experience with were the installers, those guys were very polite and knowledgeable. Bottom line, please use a different company and avoid the nightmare we've experienced. I hope they get their issues figured out, but until then PLEASE don't get fooled by the positive reviews. read more

So, here's how this service went down and you be the judge. Showed up within the scheduled timeframe but no advance call to advise me he was a couple minutes out. He entered through the garage and knocked on my door from the garage, which was a little surprising. No mask noted, although could have been wearing one when he first knocked at the door, but not when he completed the job ( maintenance cleaning request, no problem with garage door) which was all of, 5 minutes later. He said, raised the door up and down and tightened the GD spring. ( got the impression, that's all he did). When I realized he had only been there for 5 minutes, I asked, "what about the chain, doesn't it require oiling?" He replied, "no,your previous repair guy must have been from back east, everything back there needs to be oiled regularly, they don't here. " Of course, I questioned that remark after he left, because we live in a very dry climate, everything needs to be kept lubricated here. I looked it up online and it's recommended on Lyft Master site, the rails should be kept lubricated. I highly doubt that went down, but I had went back in while he worked for that 5 minutes. This cost $98.00. Not worth the money. read more

Very poor experiences with this company. I purchased a new build Toll brothers house last year and unfortunately Kaiser was the sub contractor who installed my garage doors. When I moved in, one of the doors lacked a remote and I couldn't get into the side garage for 2 weeks while waiting for them to correct the fault. Then 2 months later when my neighbor moved in, our garage codes were crossed and we randomly opened each other's doors. Took 1.5 weeks to fix this. The last straw came when I called them to get a quote to fix minor damage when the door closed on my car. I was told by the receptionist on 3 separate calls that they would get back to me. A week later I got no call. In fact, with my last call, the receptionist asked me to hold while she gets a supervisor, and then just sent me to voice mail. I called another garage company in Scottsdale after giving up. My garage door was fixed 2 hours later for 65$. I still haven't heard from kaiser. read more

This company installed our garage door and we were very happy with the installers. The office personnel are another story. They don't seem to be able to handle their job functions. We have been getting an error on our garage console and I have tried calling them 3 or 4 times and they always promise to call back to schedule a service call (the garage door is still under warranty). They NEVER call back and follow through. I talk to at least 2 different women. I just recently had a new project requiring a gate and Home Adviser's gave only this company as a referral. I decline to use this company. If they cannot handle getting someone out to check on my garage door, they can't handle installing a new gate. After 11+ years my Liftmaster drive sprocket sheared away from its motor. Liftmaster recommended I contact Kaiser. I called them at 9 AM, and had an appointment time set by 9:15 AM. The tech showed up around 12:15 PM the same day, and by 1:45 PM my door opener was as good as new. Around $45 for parts, $125 service call fee, $172 total after tax. I cannot be more pleased. This is the best and most rapid customer service I have received from ANY vendor in, at least, the last 3 years. PLEASE consider giving them your business! read more

I contacted Kaiser to get a RV Gate. They were the company that did all the gates for Lennar in Queen Creek. I spoke with Kary and he came out and took measurements on February 27th. I put a down payment on the same day. He told me it would be 2-3 weeks. Not true. I had told him upfront that i needed the gate to get my final inspection from the city to be able to complete the pool.It took 3 weeks for them to come out and install posts that i didn't need. No one else in my neighborhood has that. Kary has the worst customer service skills i have ever witnessed. Never called me to follow up or update me. One excuse after another, power coating is down, the person i need to talk to is on vacation etc.... I had to initiate all the action. It actually took about 6-7 weeks. My biggest complaint, lack of feedback. Never a call after installation. The installer was good, however the gaps in the fence are larger than they should be. Theres more but im done. read more

I recently had Kaiser Garage Doors replace my garage door and opener. The estimator, Shawn, was very responsive and his bid for a insulated door and belt drive opener was several hundred dollars less than the other bid I got. I officially ordered the door last Monday and it was installed on Friday. The installer was exactly on time (how about that) and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. For example, he inspected my current vinyl trim that surrounds the door and suggested that I keep it rather than swapping it out for the new one included in the bid. That worked out perfectly. Also, after the door was installed, we noted that my 40 year old driveway was not flat so that there was light under the seal at the corner of the door. I called Shawn, who found a larger gauge floor seal and brought it out and installed it while the installer was still at the house. They do not show up for scheduled customer service appointments. This is a new build and we have had damage to the rubber seal at the bottom of the door since BEFORE moving in. A tech showed up once, but claimed he didn't have the right one on his truck, but said someone would be out the next day to take care of it. Nope. Scheduled another appointment but they didn't show. Now they are claiming damage was caused by an animal eating a hole in it!! Pictures have been sent, as well as their own tech being out here, there are no holes only the damaged area. Garage doors and there components are not a specialized field, meaning there are lots of garage door companies out there. What separates the companies is their customer service, which this company lacks. To further demonstrate this companies poor customer service skills, I happen to work in an area where new construction is taking place. I talked to the company handling their garage door installation, showed him the picture, and he gave me a new one off his truck which I installed myself. Point being we are not talking about some $100 part here which demonstrates how ridiculous it is to try and claim an animal ate a hole in it to avoid doing the work.
