Different ladies and both were knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining eye health. I will say the front desk staff seem a bit overwhelmed and not as skilled on the operations. Then all was redeemed when I worked with Genesis on frame selection. She was so patient and gave me honest feedback on the styles. I'm pretty sure I tried on at least 20 frames and she was so great throughout. Luckily I landed on 3 different frames so it wasn't all for nothing. Hope you get to work with Genesis on frames.

They also have lots of samples, and the store is always clean and nicely organized. I come here about every two weeks and always enjoy shopping here. The gas prices are good too! My only complaint is that the gas station area feels a little too small and doesn't have enough pumps compared to other Costco locations I've been to, like Monterey Park and City of Industry. It can get pretty crowded, especially during busy times. Other than that, I love this Costco!!

Making an appointment was as easy as calling the optometry and giving them information on my insurance plan (where they are able to look it up and tell you the benefits). On the day of the appointment, I recommend coming early to fill out the intake form as a new patient and bringing your existing prescribed glasses. Afterwards, I took some quick check-in test before seeing the doctor. Dr. Nguyen did my eye exams and she was wonderful! She was thorough, explained everything in an easy to understand/detailed manner, gave really practical and actionable advice, and answered all the questions I had. The front desk folks, Ben and Raul, were also amazing!! They were super friendly, kind, and helpful throughout my visit. What I most appreciated was that they explained all the benefits of my insurance and shared their recommendations on what frames and lense features to choose given my benefits. In terms of frames, they carry name brands like Gucci, Fendi, Versace, Prada, Tom Ford, etc. Plenty to choose from. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better optometry experience.

I didn't really catch it in the dimmer store lighting, but once I got home I could see the tint much more clearly against my skin and decided it wasn't for me. Thankfully, JINS has a great 30-day return window, and Edwin made the whole return process incredibly easy. He was friendly, efficient, and made everything feel completely hassle-free. He scanned my receipt, had me insert the original card used for payment, even asked if I wanted to keep the case -- and that was it. So, huge shoutout to Edwin for making the return just as pleasant as the original purchase experience! I'm definitely not done with JINS though. They have great frame selections, especially for low nose bridges. Next time, I'll just be more mindful of which blue-light lens option I choose.

The doctor was very kind and thorough. Didn't rush me, and listened to any questions I had. Evelynn helped me with my frames, sunglasses & contacts. She was so pleasant, kind and very helpful. I purchased the 3 year discount plan cause I knew I would be constantly purchasing contacts and I am very forgetful. It was only $20 more than what I would have normally paid, but will discount any orders I make in the future. Overall I got a new pair of glasses (w/ prescription lenses), contacts, new prescription lenses for my glasses I already have & prescription sunglasses for a little over $300. For all of that, thats a good price. I paid that amount for my 5 year olds glasses from Kaiser. I'm surprised this location has low reviews. In my opinion I would think it's because the patients didn't read the fine print.
