So far, so good! Had my first pickup with Kaiyo today. I had listed 9 items for pickup but based on review of the pics they only accepted 5 of them. So you should understand they are looking for top brands and top quality. These items were rejected in advance so I knew beforehand. Email communication was great and 48 hours ahead of time I was advised of my 4-hour pickup window (11am-3pm). I got a text about 15 mins before they arrived, and they were a little early which was great! Jesse and Christoph were both friendly, polite and professional. I figured they'd just throw stuff on the truck and be gone, but when I say these guys wrapped everything SO carefully, I mean you could have dropped it from a second story window and it wouldn't have a scratch or dent! I see some comments here about challenges with the payment process so we'll see how that goes, but frankly I'm just happy I didn't have to pay someone else to haul my perfectly good Ethan Allen stuff away. I will be using Kaiyo again soon. read more

Just had a furniture delivery yesterday. Got an AMAZING deal on Restoration Hardware sofa and loveseat, about 80% off. I thought it was too good to be true, but the pieces looked even better in person than in the pictures. Highly recommended, and since you can refuse delivery the risk is totally worth it. Kevin, Renato, and Edgar did the delivery and they were super professional, helpful in getting the items up the building/into my apartment, and were very transparent in the process. I have now used Furnishare now Kaiyo 2 times. Was impressed with the professionalism the first time. They took a 4 piece bedroom set, blanket wrapped it and off they went at no charge!! It was posted on the website a short time later and within about 3-4 weeks it was sold. I got a check in the mail within a week. If you try to sell it privately do you want strangers in your home!! So now this is the 2nd go around and the 2 people one of which was here the first time were once again very professional very friendly. I had them take a Lazyboy reclining sofa. They did a full blanket wrap and out the door and down the elevator. Very professional. It is tough finding reliable services but this company is one of the best I ever dealt with. Did not want to leave out one very important thing, their customer service. Who is better then them. If you call and leave a message or an email they respond very quickly. Thus far I can only vouch for the initial part of Kaiyo's service (picking up furniture I'm having them sell), but to-date they've been nothing but pleasant and professional. Today Tony and Fernando alerted me when they were en route, met me squarely within the scheduled window, and were cordial, efficient, and diligent throughout. Amazing service. It took 3 delivery attempts to find a sectional couch that could fit up my 4 floor walkup, and each try the delivery staff went above and beyond to try to fit the couch. On the final attempt, Omar and Fernando showed unbelievable grit - overcoming a variety of obstacles and constraints to get the couch up to my apartment. After a long struggle up the stairs, the couch fit, and I could not be happier with it. Kaiyo products are high quality, and you will not find a better furniture delivery team in Manhattan. I don't understand why this place got good reviews. I have $700 total in my cart but Kaiyo asks me to pay $50 more in order to process my payment. My subtotal is $450, but overall is $700 including $150 shipping, tax, and $25 for 2 days rush delivery yet I still can't order it because my subtotal is below $50. This is ridiculous. It took me four months to be able to write this review. I think it is important for people to know SELLING on Kaiyo DO NOT SELL WITH KAIYO I came upon Kaiyo browsing the internet and I needed to sell my Raymour and Flanigan Queen sleeper sofa couch. At the time I lived in a fourth floor walk up so I was nervous about how I would get the couch sold and collected. Kaiyo seemed great that would come get the couch, clean and sell it for you! Silly me didn't read the entire website properly. My couch initially cost $1000 and I had buyers interested in it for $475 (it was less than a year old and barely used..this was a deal). However I was so lazy Kaiyo came in handy! They came and were VERY polite and worked hard and fast. Wrapped my couch and did the work to take it away so I was grateful! Kaiyo then listed the sales price on their website as $1300. Okay not bad, didn't buy it for that but okay sure. Then as months went buy and no one bought the couch the price dropped down to a whopping $381. Now here's the part no one knows. How much did I make for them selling my couch for $381.... $83.82 Yes everyone had I known this was how much I would make on a almost brand new couch I paid $1000 a year ago I would have NEVER sold with Kaiyo. It's a total rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!! They drop the price down so low it's crazy. At one point I was hoping they would retire my couch so I could pick it up and sell it on my own and at least get $300 in MY pocket. So please people DO NOT SELL WITH THIS SITE. Not unless you will accept getting little to nothing for your furniture. It is better to sell this on your own! More work but you will be rewarded. read more
