Our Acura MDX was in a minor accident, IWe brought the car here and when we got it back we seen that the hood was not lined up correctly, so we called and took the car back and waited another few days and when picked it up, the car was worse than before. The hood was not lined up correctly and other parts where not lined up correctly and even the splash guard on the bottom of the wheel they didn't even put the tabs back in and those only like $.50 a piece. The guy wanted us to bring it back again, but bringing the car three times and be without a car again. I will post pictures of the repair and of minor damage that the car had. I would shop around before I come to this place cause your car will never be lined up correctly. The body work here is not good at all. read more

The spoiler on the back of our car had loosened off after being hit by a steel rolling gate. One of the main reasons why we went with Kaizen Collision Center is because they were able to handle all preliminary communications via email and were able to give a rough estimate without requiring us to bring the car to the repair center. On the day of dropoff, we were told we'd be given a turnaround time by end of day, but they instead notified us late afternoon that they wouldn't be able to give a timeframe until the next day. That was disappointing because we needed to know ASAP if we would need to reschedule any meetings or appointments. The next day they gave us a final price and the invoice along with estimated repair time which was 10 days. We rescheduled everything for the next week, got a nonrefundable rental car, and then the repair was complete in 2 days. A kind of pleasant, kind of disappointing surprise. Customer service here was overall not the greatest and a little spotty. My partner and I both worked on this car repair together, both handling email and phone calls, and we both felt like service wasn't 100%. We reeled his dad in to help while we were out of the country and he also had some comments on the service. The repair itself was spectacular. We're ultimately still impressed by the speed and quality of the repair. They even washed our car for us before handing it back over (and we never wash our car LOL). ***THIS BUSINESS IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP. ANY PREVIOUS REVIEWS SHOULD BE TAKEN WORTH A GRAIN OF SALT*** Horrible experience, detailed below. Do not bring your car here even if your dealership recomends them, as Subaru did for me. 1) After getting the estimate done, 54 days was the soonest I could schedule. That's a while, but they were recommended by Subaru of LV, so they must be a good shop. 2) I was told I would get a call a week out from the appointment with details. This happened 3 days before. 3) Dropping my car off I was given a 5 day estimate, even though it was replacing the front bumper and crumple/mount piece. Geico's estimate was 2 days. I told Shelby that I'm paying out of pocket for the rental and he chuckled and said it'll still be 5 days. What really surprised me was he said that MY CAR MIGHT SIT IDLE FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS BECAUSE THEY WERE UNDERSTAFFED. 4) When I was contacted prior to my appointment, I was told that I had a scheduled pickup with Enterprise. Which you would think everything was squared away at that point, but no. Get to Enterprise and I don't have a reservation. So there is only one car left and I was forced to get a small pickup truck at $50+/day. 5) I get a message on day 2 that they "found" more damage, even though this was on their original inspection, and needed to clear it with insurance. Insurance cleared it in a day, but Certified added two more days to my estimate. 6) I get a message the day before my estimate completion saying they're just finishing up repairs. So I call and ask if it will be ready a day early but am told that it is still on track for the estimated completion date. 7) I do not get any communication the next day (estimated completion date), so I call and am told they're just finishing and polishing things up. I did not get my car until 2 days after this. 8) I get a call 10 days after I dropped of my car saying that it was complete. BUT, if I wanted to pay by credit card, there would be a ***3.8% SERVICE FEE***. This was never discussed when I agreed to the service and was enacted THE DAY I NEEDED TO PAY. No grandfathering if you already started service, which you signed for. Makes me wonder if my car was held for longer so they could get another $25 out of me. I was forced to spend more time, last minute, before work, going to the bank to withdrawl cash, because you can't pull what I needed out of an ATM 9) Pick up the car and I could tell this type of situation is routine for them. Quickly dismiss complaints and thank you profusely. Take my experience and save yourself. THE PAINT DIDN'T EVEN MATCH THE RIGHT COLOR!!! It really feels like Findlay knows the owner and is getting kick-backs. read more

Okay, so sometimes I'll see reviews on here that are too good to be true and I don't trust them. So please please hear me out on this. I was attacked my a motorcyclist while I was driving a friend's car. Aside from being terrified, I needed to get a dent pulled out because he kicked the passenger side. I called almost everywhere in town and was consistently told that I needed to replace the entire door. I was like, in tears for a week straight. I'm a college student and I can't afford a door on a new car. I came here for a consultation, Shelby came out to look at my car and basically told me that I might have to replace my door but also that it can probably be fixed with a suction cup. He found one from the back, popped the dent out, and it looks like the accident never happened! It took less than 10 minutes. The staff was amazing and so kind while I was obviously very stressed. I recently was involved in a car accident and was looking for a place to get my car fixed. I was recommended Certified Autobody from my local Subaru dealership and I'm sure glad they did! I called and they helped me quickly get setup with an estimate and help me with the insurance process in getting the necessary information to my insurance estimator. Once that process was taken care of they called me back and asked me when I would like to get scheduled for service. Once I brought the car in they have a nice texting app in place to keep you updated on the status of your vehicle through the process so you know exactly what is going on at all times. There was a slight delay as well and was promptly texted and made aware of this. During the process there seems to have been some miscommunication with the insurance company and Certified Autobody about the length of my rental but Shelby and the team quickly made sure I was taken care of and covered my rental from the delays. Overall Shelby and the team were really quick, knowledgeable, and efficient in getting the job done and my car looked great! The portion the worked on looked brand new and did an awesome job with the dents, scratches, and paint job. They even cleaned and detailed my car so it was looking extra fresh when I picked it up. If you need any autobody work I highly recommend Certified Autobody. They even have guarantees on the work they do as well which is a nice assurance but based on the work, I won't be having to use that. Check them out for your next autobody work needs. read more

I took my car in almost 2 months ago. for the last 3 weeks they told me it would be done by Friday. no communication, or accurate information. slow to return messages if at all. nothing but excuses and false completion dates. this has been a painful experience. still haven't got my vehicle back. hope their work is better than there service. I was impressed with the level of communication I received from both my advisor Shelby as well as the office staff. With repairs underway, I received daily updates via text message to let me know the progress as well as an estimated completion date. Upon first inspection of the completed work, I noticed two small areas that I was not 100% satisfied with. Without hesitation, Shelby offered to fix it, which they did. I was really impressed by my initial treatment at this company. Speedy took his time inspecting my vehicle. I could tell he was very detail oriented and did an amazing job explaining what needed to be done and how they do it. I could tell he takes pride in his work and felt completely confident having the insurance company send them the payment. The work took longer than expected, but it looked amazing when I inspected it. That night I had a few questions about my vehicle. I was able to bring it in the next buisness day to have my questions answered. My only complaint was I never recieved the text message updates. I called the office four times for an update. One receptionist was amazing when I called and was professional as she showed me my completed vehicle. I spoke to the other receptionist about three times. I wanted update information and she sounded annoyed. When I asked questions she would respond, "I wouldn't know that." Better customer service would be, liet me have someone who knows the answer give you a call. Part of the delay was the insurance authorized factory parts. Highly recommend Certified Auto Body Center for all your repair needs. My sister recently crashed my car and I did not think it would resemble anything close to what it use to be. My insurance adjuster with Geico highly recommend Certified Auto as he has had nothing but success and great service from them for all clients that have been referred to this auto body center. To start with the estimated time to repair my car was 3-weeks but it ended up being 4-weeks. This was in no way any fault of Certified Auto as they kept me informed every step of the way. The amount of damage done to my car required more time and they were nothing but patient and courteous with me as I was turning into that annoying customer that called every week 1-2 days a week just for an update. From parts that would of taken 2-3 extra weeks to wait for ordering miraculously showed up as Speedy and his team kept at it to make sure they found the parts sooner. I mean if they were able to perform miracles they did on my behalf. The girls in the office Kelly, Victoria, Amanda (sorry if I have your names wrong) were always so nice to speak with even when they knew it was me calling again. Speedy always took the time out of his busy day to call me back and explain where they were at in the process. I was even impatient enough to tell him I do not want them to wash my car and polish it down. His response, I would really like to make sure your vehicles is safe to drive and that we give it back to you clean and in good condition. And each time I spoke with Speedy he was nothing but a sweetheart about everything. The tone and level of customer service I received from Speedy and his staff never once changed during my multiple calls. They were also so nice and helpful. As for my car it drives better now and I had this noise that was driving me crazy and I was going to have Chevy look at it but no more noise and everything drives amazing! Got so called "lifetime warranty" work done and when the clips came loose and my rear bumper caught wind and flew off, they said they have never heard of that happening and won't repair it! No one ever hit it, I never did anything to it. It simply got loose because of poor work and cheap parts and they won't back it up. Stay away from this place read more

Beware of this shop. We took our truck in for repairs, recommended by Chevrolet. It took them longer than quoted and after picking up the truck and returning home we noticed items missing from the vehicle. Our garage remote, prescription glasses and a few other items. We called the shop and spoke with the manager he questioned the employees and they knew nothing about it. This is unacceptable for a company. Yes the items should have been taken out but you don't expect them to be missing and gone from the vehicle. I would not recommend this company. read more

First off... State Farm is AWFUL, and because of their shitty business operating procedures, it took two months to repair something that literally only took five days of labor. BUT, Certified did a brilliant job went to bat for me with State Farm, and also warned me ahead of time that it might take a while. To preface: a man ran into the wall behind my apartment. Cinder blocks rained all over my car. Upon initial inspection, I was told what would have to be replaced, and what could be buffed out. They left out a lot of dings and scratches, and I corrected the inspector what was from the cinder blocks and what wasn't.  At drop off, the inspector (before he came to get me and inspect together) went out and marked everything to be fixed with green marker, and everything not to be fixed with red. When he came to get me, he informed me the markings were to "keep people honest". Thanks for insinuating I'm dishonesty, but let's continue. Again, there were many dings and scratches marked red, but we're indeed from the cinder blocks. I corrected the inspector again. "This is included, that's included, that's included." I was then told "since we're certified with AAA (the man who ran into the walls insurance), we'll be able to take additional pictures and send them in directly for approval to fix whatever else we find." Fast forward 2 weeks later, there were still multiple deep gouges left unfixed. When I pointed them out, now a THIRD time to the inspector, I was told I would have to contact the insurance agent to have it fixed. So now that's pending. But wait, that's not the best part. I left my car with 90 miles remaining til empty, I got it back with 54 miles remaining. So, did someone drive my car 36 miles to make sure the trunk they replaced wouldn't fall off? Or did they just leave my car running for hours on end to ensure the new trunk wouldn't fall off? Oh, but wait, THATS NOT ALL. Now my Toyota with 40,000 miles on it, all of a sudden has a dead battery, all of the normal running trunk lights don't function, one of the brake lights doesn't work. All within a week of having my trunk fixed. How coincidental. How coincidental in deed. Also, I had a bent piece of molding trim on my dashboard bent of out place. As if someone had tried to rip it out, and put it back in. Can someone tell me what needs to be done on the inside of my car's dash to fix my trunk? Because I can't think of a reason my dash needs to be opened, and now all my electrical is screwed up. read more
