I totally recommend the place and Hector, he's not on only very nice but also provided me and family an outstanding service. I went there with a friend this afternoon and was not even acknowledged after we have been sitting there for about 10 or 15 minutes. Very poor customer service I will not be returning when somebody come to the door. You're usually greeted by a hostess or something, and there was nobody there. The food here was good or maybe I was really hungry... I got the taquitos dorados (5 pc). They were no toppings other than crema, salsa and a sprinkle of arugula. Me and my friends were looking for a venue that hosted a larger party. We were a party of 6. And also were all wheelchair users. So we needed a space that accommodated all of our wheels. You'd be surprised. Anyways they accommodated us and fast might I mention. They even have a patio! Maybe next time we will sit outside. The food was yummy. The drinks were very delicious. I recently took my mother, who is over 90 years old, to Kalaveras for dinner. It was the first time for us both, and we both enjoyed the visit. The restaurant is much larger than we thought, very clean and all of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Our server was amazing, helping with information and suggestions. The food was delicious, though I would appreciate more vegetarian selections - I was able to enjoy what I ordered. The atmosphere is lively, and the decor well done and inspired. I definitely recommend giving Kalaveras a try. *Parking can be challenging, but handicap spaces are available for those who may need them. read more

I've been to several Kalaveras locations & unfortunately I live closest to this one. Service is hit or miss & although the drinks are good & the food is decent this location is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. The tables & and bar are sticky and there is a weird smell throughout the restaurant. I'm not sure if it's just an old location but it definitely takes away from the experience. Unfortunately I can't recommend this place. There are better options available in the area. read more

The food here can be a little pricey so I suggest you come here during happy hour or taco tuesday. They have lots of food options on their happy hour menu as well as a variety of drinks. This place can be a hit or miss with the food and with the waiters as well. Food can take a while to come out even if its not a busy night. We have tried the quesobirria tacos, the esquites, and the tacos. I have heard that the seafood enchiladas are good, and I may visit soon to try them. I will give an update. The drinks are superb and have many flavors to choose from such as cucumber, strawberry, mango, tamarind, and pineapple. If you are a beer fan I really recommend the micheladas they are delicious and refreshing. It is a loud restaurant with lots of lights and loud music inside making it a fun atmosphere to drink in.
