As a customer who has visited your restaurant several times, particularly for Taco Tuesday, I expected a welcoming and professional experience. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. Most recently, during my visit on June 2, 2026, I approached the salsa bar and politely asked the manager which salsa was the sweet one. I explained that I had tried it before and wanted to avoid selecting it again because it was not to my liking. Instead of assisting me, he repeatedly stated that there was no sweet salsa. When I explained that I had visited several times and was confident one of the salsas had a noticeably sweet flavor, he dismissed my comment and walked away while I was still speaking and attempting to ask a follow-up question. This was not an isolated incident. On a previous Taco Tuesday visit, my party had been waiting an extended period for service, so I approached the bar to order drinks. The same manager told me that I could not order at the bar and needed to remain seated and order through my server. While I understand restaurants may have service policies, the manner in which he communicated with me was dismissive, rude, and unprofessional. What concerns me most is not the policy itself, but the repeated lack of courtesy and respect shown to paying customers. I have visited your establishment multiple times and have consistently felt unwelcome during interactions with this manager. We tried the Sunday brunch and were immediately impressed that it wasn't busy and we were seated right away. The setup looked great, with multiple stations and a wide variety of options. Unfortunately, the food quality didn't match the presentation. Most of the dishes were only lukewarm at best, the burners didn't seem to keep anything hot. The taco station was especially disappointing; the carnitas, beef, and chorizo were all sitting in excessive oil, which made them unappetizing. Draining the fat would make a big difference and show more care in what's being served. The fresh handmade tortillas were a highlight, but the pancakes and waffles were also lukewarm and could have been much better. The flan was not prepared correctly, was overly soft and questionable in texture. The enchiladas had good flavor, cheesy and well-filled with beef, but again, they were only lukewarm. On a positive note, the ceviche station was well done, with four fresh options kept properly chilled on ice. Service was great, servers were attentive and friendly, and the agua fresca de jamaica was refreshing. However, both my husband and I ended up getting sick afterward, which is very concerning. Reggaeton music was good, but it's definitely a restaurant not a club. In two and a half hours, Juan checked on us once. Another time he walked down the aisle talking on his phone. The food was bland. They do not have salt on the table, only packets. That would have been ok if our waiter had come by to check on us so I could ask for salt. Don't come here with the intention of dancing, or eating food with flavor. And definitely don't come here if you're a white looking Hispanic and want to be insulted. The management seemed scattered and the service wasn't very attentive throughout our visit. We were there on Taco Tuesday, and while I'll say the tacos were flavorful and the variety of salsas was a nice touch, there were some letdowns--like no complimentary chips and salsa, which we enjoyed at the Redondo Beach location. Service from Ashley was superb right from the start. She gave me the insight on new menu items and the deals they had outside of happy hour. I was there 6/12, party of 8 at approximately 810-820pm. This was for a bday. We were sitting on the back wall that was sharing a wall with the dj to the left of him. Our food came out individually with about 15-20 increments between each meal. I waited 25 mins for a refill on water. Even after I asked the waitress for water. But no she just kept bringing out the alcohol to our table and never brought me anymore water. Other people at my table, gave me their water. Then came my food, let me start by saying I'm vegan. I ordered veggie fajitas, with no cheese on the beans, no crema for the fajitas, no cheese on the guac with flour tortillas. First my fajita platter came out, nothing else, then 10-15 mins went by, then the beans and rice came out correctly, and another 10 mins, the flour tortillas finally came out. After asking two different people for them. And about 10 mins into eat the fajitas, I bite into something with an awful taste and low and behold, after I flung it out of my mouth, it a a piece of meat, chicken to be exact. It was disgusting. I've been vegan for 8 years, and never had this happened to me before. The waitress who was fair complected , kinda tall. With black hair, only offered to have the cooks make it again, and I said sure, but make it to go please. Never offered to comp the bill or anything. After we were all done eating. We waited and waited and waited for the bill. That's was about 30 mins went I finally left, and the bill still wasn't brought out for another 20 mins after that. My friend whom was celebrating her bday said they still charged us for my food and the veggie fajitas the waitress offered to have "made" never made it to our table. Worst experience by far and I will never go back. I hope this doesn't fall on deaf ears. And I hope they take more care in those patrons who are vegan.
